I love this. Lilly went to Kenya and she learned about the beauty and culture of the country as well as helping out, rather than just saying "OMG Look at these poor starving children. 1 Like=1 Dollar donated". While it's great to help the needy, I feel that many people who visit African countries fail to look beyond the poverty and sickness that they see on TV. And then they pass that ideology on to others, which is why there are still some people that think Africa is dirt poor. #stopthestereotypes #lovefromguineaconakry
My dad's from Senegal and he watches the news from there and once he was watching a competition, kind of like America's got talent and My mom said "oh,they have a lot of bright lights there. That made me think, I knew this but Africa is not poor.
I'm from Kenya and very few kids here are starving but there are still those who don't have food on their plates after school, Kenya is a good country that most think is poor, it is not.
We love you lily. You are an inspiration. I lived in Kenya for the first 12 years of my life. Out of me and my 5 brothers and sisters, only my oldest brother went to school. My baby sister died when she was 2 months, and my father died of cholera when I was 7. But it's an amazing country. It is filled with culture, and my community shared everyone thing with each other. I am 25 now, and have lived in England for 13 years. I love England (don't get me wrong it's amazing ) but I miss Kenya. It makes me so so happy that your are helping my home country. Love you lily xx

Impossibear, I am Kenyan and no FGM is not a "big thing in Kenya" as you put it. There are 42 tribes/different ethnic communities in Kenya and FGM is currently practiced in maybe 3 or so of them, and only by those who live in the most rural areas and thus follow the old traditional ways as they are not properly educated yet on the dangers of FGM. There are many local and international NGOs which are till spreading the message of no FGM and try save those girls in these far flung communities
I know right, that's also why adore Lilly so much , she doesn't make herself big like other famous people do and she truely cares about making good changes in the world❤️
Hey Lilly, I really love what you're doing for the girls of my country, my wonderful Kenya. And I just want to say, keep going. You are an amazing person who is not only spreading awareness of these problems on UA-cam, but you're also helping solve the problem. And even though Girl Love is made to help girls, you have truly inspired this guy. Keep loving, Superwoman, You truly are worthy of the title.
***** Its just my opinion, because I feel everything that we see on screen would have took a lot of effort and hard work & no matter how joyful your job maybe, stress is stress, things take time and patience :)
+Joycee Dihi Lol no. The green colourful shirt that she was wearing throughout the video is called a Dashiki. The traditional Kenyan bracelets she's making a difference with is called Ratfiki.
Im from Africa, Mozambique, and we often see sooooo many celebrities coming to Africa and visiting hospitals and poor familys, hugging them and crying on camera, being so negative, just to make an image of "good people" or whatever, when deep down they dont even care about them... But thanks Lilly for actually helping in such a fun and special way and for going there with such genuinly positive spirit!!!
I am glad and always thank god for making someone so special like Lilly.. she is not lighting our lives with smile but even to those who r really indeed... hats off for this new generation legend
I know i've said this before but Even though i'm a guy, I love how Lilly is going out and trying to spread this message of #GirlLove It is much needed and I support her no matter what she does!!!
Yes! She is! Lilly is so genuine and down to earth! Watching this video made me tear up because of kids that don't go to school. Right now, I want to go to Kenya, not just for the wildlife (I would like to go on safari, though) but to see the poverty and help people like Lilly.
I feel like you should be the best version of yourself instead! You'll come up with amazing ways to change the world that I would never be able to think of. I can't wait for it x
this is eye opening because the little foolishness we complain about is nothing compared to what's plaguing the world outside of our. be grateful for your #blessedlife
I asked my mom if i could have a rafiki, and she is getting 3, one for me,one for my sister, and one for her. I am very honored to be able to help in spreading #GirlLove. I am 11 and am giving her my petsitting money to donate. #GirlLove!!!!!
I was born in Kenya and lived there for 16 yrs. This inspires me to want to go back and give back. I will feel fulfilled as a human being if I can do that one day.
Lilly, You inspire me so much to work the hardest I can and make a difference in this world. I don't know how a person can be so talented, wise in life and still awesome. You're book is also great, It has so many great messages and I can't imagine how much effort you put into it. You are so amazing and you are my role model. Changed my perspective and thought of my life. I've always been thankful and now even more, to see others who are in need. They are such happy and caring people, God bless.
Thank you for visiting my beloved motherland,i have always told people that you are a wonderful human being,i was blessed to do security for you at a function in Brampton, i wish you well young lady, the sky is the limit for you superwoman.
This is the most wonderful video I have every seen. It made me so emotional and so frustrated because it's so unfair - they deserve so much more. And here we are, complaining about not getting an iPhone 7... I am going to tell all of my friends to watch this. The whole world needs to see this. I'm going it get a bracelet. And I love you so much more, I don't know how that's possible but it's true. You are such a special person, you use the huge platform you have created for yourself to send the most important messages in the world. Thank you for everything. All my love ❤️
And I also went to the same hotel as you! Masai Marah ( I probably spelt that wrong ) park was a place I stayed in for 8 days on a safari holiday, and the people were the most wonderful people I have ever met. They are so genuine and loving, and hardworking. They deserve the world.
I agree more than anything. Lilly is practically the only UA-camr I know of that has done something this amazing to change the lives of other people. WE ALL LOVE AND SUPPORT YOU ❤❤
+Sofia Strazzante If you change the country at the top right corner of the page from CAN to US, more countries will be available. Unfortunately though, I live in Turkey and that's not one of the possible countries...
Lilly, thank you so much for showing us your experience in Kenya and educating us about life for that community. You definitely inspired me, and I'm really not just saying that, I mean you actually made me rethink what I want out of life and what I want to do for others. Bless you and your generous heart!
You are so inspiring! I was balling my eyes out while watching this. You are so beautiful on the inside and the outside! You are absolutely correct! People take the things that happen to us (in our modern lifestyle) for granted so frequently and this showed everyone that people can have it much worse. We need more people like you Lilly! I am one of your biggest fans and supporters, and when I grow up I want to be just like you😊Thankyou so much Lilly for lightening every one of my days! -Malena 10yrs
At least, the poorer parts do. But what the west need to realise is that the western portrayal of Africa as poor and starving doesn't always fit. Sure, there are really poor areas but there's also a whole other part of that you've never seen. Africa isn't always poor- she's rich in culture, history, language etc
yes many parts of Africa are thriving and doing great just as much if not more than some developed countries , bit that doesn't mean we ignore poverty and we can't dent that is certainly does exist in Africa also. It's a good thing that she has joined this charity initiative to help out. I think we should all support her, and then hopefully we can do the same in other countries as well to tackle their poverty/schooling etc
I am Kenyan, and this is the best video I have watched in a while. You painted our country right, the culture, the potential. We might be third world, but we are a special country in this world. Thank you Lily.
Ms Singh!!! I've watched this video about 400 times since it's been uploaded. I get so empowered whenever I watch it. I was feeling a bit down today and this really put a smile on my face and changed my mood. I'm so grateful for your existence and all that you do. I will ALWAYS support your endeavours because I can say without a doubt that I TRUST YOU. I can't say that about a lot of people either. I bought a rafiki bracelet as soon as it went on sale and I bought your lipstick yesterday and ALSO finally tried Chipotle lol all because if YOU!!! #bawsegoals #illbuyyourbooktoo
Lucid Abyss No offence but you're a cheap excuse of a human being, probably a misogynist who needs to get his cracked mentality fixed ASAP for the sake of the betterment of our world.
Lilly, this was an amazing film full of amazing women who are the core of their families and their society. You are amazing to bring this to us all and to actually do something to help. Here's to Girl Love x
I am from Africa too. But not Kenya. I am a Nigerian. This video is inspiring. I don't know much about other countries in Africa. In Nigeria there isn't much dry grass or animals walking around unsupervised but I am proud that you made this video and showed people the importance of appreciation. I want North Americans to stop thinking that Africa is poor and an unhappy place. Thanks from me to you(lily)
Then I think you will also like Bubzbeauty. She already built 2 fully functional schools in Laos with the help of her subbies. She is currently working with Pencil of Promise to build another one (from what I understand from her vlogs). There are youtubers/people that use their fame for good :) It's really nice when you see people reaching out and helping others.

I have this project in school where i need to make a project about my idol, i had been thinking about who would be my idol for atleast 2 weeks, now i realise that theres no better person in this world than you, eaven tho u have no idea who i am, u help me get thruu my everyday life. After i moved to poland from finland i was really sad for a long time. then i started watching your vlogs every morning when i woke up and i got my day started with a positive attitude. What you do is truli AMAZING. u r my idol, keep going.
Reasons why Lilly is amazing • She's smart •She's so relateab le to everyone •She is so POSITIVE (And I love you because your the only person I've ever truly cared about ,anyone who meets you is truly bless )😘❤️😍💕😉👌👏👍🎉💛💙💜💚❤️🙈🙉🙊😋😂
Kirtana ,that's cool it seems like positivity is what make the world go round and we don't really have enough Lilly is so positive and sometimes I can be really negative so I'm working on being as positive as Lilly(I love her with 99.99 percent, off my heart and the .01 goes to my family and my friends and people like you
Kirtana your so right and you are amazing and I appreciate you so much if you love somebody and another person loves her too than im glad because lilly is bringing people together like me and you (THANKS) ❤️💚💜💙💛👍your an angel 😇😏😎😋😆😂😜😝😍😘😄😃😀
people r always complaining about how they hate school and all of that but these people actually can't go to school and then that gets me thinking that i'm never gonna complain about school again
That's sweet general and nice of you and I 100% agree I am privileged and I know it but the version of me that has to wake up at 5:00 in the morning does not
I LOVE this! I just was in Kenya in May! I also had never been to anywhere in Africa before. And everyone I met there was filled with such JOY! The whole 2 weeks I was there, I did not hear any of them utter one complaint. Not. A. Single. One. They were some of the most genuinely nice people I have ever met. Not only were the people beautiful, but the country was too. Masai Mara was amazing. The only thing separating yourself from the wild animals was your vehicle. I would do it all over if I could. So glad you got to experience it to too, Lilly! :D
I feel like Lily is made for doing things like this because she has such a warm heart and she's so pure and she's such a good, nice, kind person I think Lily finds so much happiness in being positive I love her sm
Yeah but it is more correct if each one of us start to think and act like that.if we are fine I think then each of us have a responsibility towards around us, not a job of just a few persons .
Lily...Wow. You are probably the single most kind person (unicorn) on earth. Honestly. The passion you have for this is amazing. You really are, well, super.
actually I just bought mine today and they're still selling! Also there are a couple other pieces that have amazing meaning and Pepsi is definitely still check out the website it's listed on the links below the video!
My school had a thing were we raised money to build a school in Kenya and I think it’s the school she walked into, and I’m so proud of her and everything she is doing for the me-to-we!!!!
For those of you who don't know there's internet in Africa she's just in a place were there's isn't and yes some people are not doing well but I also like she showed Kenya's culture. I'm not from Kenya but i'm also happy that she showed a lot more than animals
she went to the village where I come from it is a lot like America we have malls and pretty much everything America has. Shout out to Lagos Nigeria. Ogdobolu village West Africa was up ya'll
I started watching Lilly's videos because they were really funny and just made my day by making me laugh a little. But now Lilly's videos mean so much more to me. The videos mean much more, by supporting to everyone and everything (not that she didn't before, duh.) and as a member of #TeamSuper, this makes me feel so proud of her. I know Lilly was always amazing but I never saw thought of her as someone who is going to change the world(sorryiknowiwaswrongpleasedonthurtafellowunicorn) but she has proven me wrong!!! This doesn't mean I didn't love her before(lol) but she's just changed so much, in the best possible way you could ever imagine! She's changed my life, she's changed my view over everything and she's done so much good in this world she deserves damn noble prize. I'm pretty sure every single person who has even caught a glimpse of her feels the same. she is an absolute jewel. We should be so thankful that we have her! I won't ever stop thanking her for doing everything she does, even if it doesn't directly affect me, it does affect other people. Lilly, your dreams, challenges, love, support to girls,... will one day be remembered by so many people (I'm pretty sure kids will learn about you in history class in the future, lol)! So i will do my best to #SpreadGirlLove because it also means a lot to me! #Girllove #YEEEYYYY #ByeeeeeeeeeeLoveeeeeeee Xxxxxxxxx Mazie
It's inspiring seeing Lilly playing an active role in helping Africa. She wants to make an impact. She has helped me to and it's good to see others also beniffiting from Lilly's work. Her message is genuine. They don't work with pity. They work with action and that is exactly how this will change me.
I'm not Kenyan but i am African (Nigerian to be precise) and the fact that she actually saw our continent's beauties. Alot of us go to school but some of us don't. It's very nice of her to visit and try to get education for the girls. Love Africa
Africa is truly a beautiful continent!! The whole continent has such amazing different customs , cultures , foods etc so there's always something for everyone!! You all should definitely take a trip!! I'm from Ghana(West Africa) but I was born and raised in Canada tho lol!! ❤️💯✨🌍
This video actually made me smile, not just by being funny, but with happiness. Great video Lilly, I can't wait for you to reach 10 million! You deserve it.
lilly, you are such a huge inspirational role model!!! What you said also made me realized how spoiled, and selfish i am in north america. You made me realize there are people all over the world who are less things than I do, but they are still happy. Thank you for making me realize this. I will be be alot more understanding, generous, and not taking adavtanage and granted of things,
Can I just say that I absolutely love this and what Lilly's doing is amazing. And the fact that she's giving different opportunities is awesome, but I guess about the whole 'I get to say to my parents I wanna be a UA-camr' thing, I just think yeah, if you didn't get that choice you would be very pissed, but these people might be quite happy to get those jobs that you might not because they haven't known anything else... not saying that we shouldn't give them different opportunities, just that we shouldn't be so high and mighty thinking we're so much happier with all the things that first world countries have to offer.
devilazzie21 they do have hair but some ppl have brittle hair and that and sometimes it's hard to brush and loosen it from its tangles that's why they shave it
I just want to say that i love you so much and you are such an inspiration to so many people. Please keep doing what you're doing!! xx ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ Also, I was just refreshing my subscriptions page for 1 hr straight waiting for this. xx
I am really considering buying heaps of these them dropping them at random peoples door stops with a note telling them all about girl love. and the good they could do and asking them to spread the word about the project.
Everytime I watch this, I cry. Lily I have been watching you for a long time, then seeing you going to my home and helping out the girls warms my heart. You are a amazing. I am so grateful on behalf of this girls
After watching this video, I have to say that I am more inspired than before. I am only in middle school but honestly, I've been thinking about this too. So I hope you get as much people as you can (I'll be four of them!) to help with this cause!
I remember how excited my friends and I were when we heard she was coming to Kenya kwanza cause of such an amazing cause😭❤and we really wanted to meet her cause she is such a hit in Kenya and she's actually changing lives❤❤

I am buying enough rafiki bracelets for the whole of my school year because of her! :) #GirlLove
I really want to purchase some rafikis but the website does not ship worldwide... Help please!
I was literally going to say comment that
+Sofia Strazzante If you change the country at the top right corner of the page from CAN to US, more countries will be available. Unfortunately though, I live in Turkey and that's not one of the possible countries...
I feel like lilly is from heaven she is helping our world so much I think we should all say thankyou for what she did for those girls 👏😊
Lilly, thank you so much for showing us your experience in Kenya and educating us about life for that community. You definitely inspired me, and I'm really not just saying that, I mean you actually made me rethink what I want out of life and what I want to do for others. Bless you and your generous heart!
Just bought my rafiki and pledged to join the WE movement! Thank you again for spreading such goodness and positivity

This is breath taking and just down right inspirational. I'm at a loss for words seeing this 2 years later
#girlpowerwithlilly
We need more intelligent 10 year olds like you ❤❤❤ 😙
This is such a good initiative she's taken on. Africa doesn't need pity, she needs action.
Best thing to do when stressed: Watch Superwoman😊
:D

Yayyyy!!! That's amazing!! I hope you have a fantastic day!!
I got a bracelet!!!! I'm so excited that I helped the women in Kenya that are trying to go to school!
Don't help her, she's not letting kids go to school, she's letting only WOMEN go to school. She's completely corrupt
Lucid Abyss do you need a new set of ears
8 cool kids 13 4r
Lucid Abyss No offence but you're a cheap excuse of a human being, probably a misogynist who needs to get his cracked mentality fixed ASAP for the sake of the betterment of our world.
Yeah same. I have one girl love bracelet, and an income bracelet. They're sooooooooooo pretty
Lilly, this was an amazing film full of amazing women who are the core of their families and their society.
You are amazing to bring this to us all and to actually do something to help. Here's to Girl Love x

YASMINE IBRAHIM i just wrote what the other said lol. I was just trying to be funny
Preach Hun 👌🏾😌
Omg I'm Nigerian too 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬

Then I think you will also like Bubzbeauty. She already built 2 fully functional schools in Laos with the help of her subbies. She is currently working with Pencil of Promise to build another one (from what I understand from her vlogs).
There are youtubers/people that use their fame for good :)
It's really nice when you see people reaching out and helping others.
Guys please like this comments so that it remains on the top. I'm a small youtuber. Some awesome videos are coming up on my channel. Please do subscribe to my channel.

That's sweet general and nice of you and I 100% agree I am privileged and I know it but the version of me that has to wake up at 5:00 in the morning does not
Lilly is one of the few who appreciate what they've been blessed with . may god give u the well to continue
Thts sooooooo cool!!!!
Super jealous :0
I wanna go to Kenya SUPER BADDDD now
+The Simmer you're welcome I bet you'll love the experience

Watching this much much later and I'm so touched we need more people like you in this world Lilly
Yeah but it is more correct if each one of us start to think and act like that.if we are fine I think then each of us have a responsibility towards around us, not a job of just a few persons .
It honestly makes me so happy that Lilly is using her fame to really make a difference she is honestly such an inspiration
Lily is the kindest person ever I hope everyone understands ur movement
Lily...Wow. You are probably the single most kind person (unicorn) on earth. Honestly. The passion you have for this is amazing. You really are, well, super.

For those of you who don't know there's internet in Africa she's just in a place were there's isn't and yes some people are not doing well but I also like she showed Kenya's culture. I'm not from Kenya but i'm also happy that she showed a lot more than animals

I really love how Lilly is using her popularity in a super positive way and stand up to help changing the world into a better one❤️
#Girllove #YEEEYYYY #ByeeeeeeeeeeLoveeeeeeee
Xxxxxxxxx Mazie
Ohdamnthatslong
she means so much to me
It's inspiring seeing Lilly playing an active role in helping Africa. She wants to make an impact. She has helped me to and it's good to see others also beniffiting from Lilly's work. Her message is genuine. They don't work with pity. They work with action and that is exactly how this will change me.
Same 😚❣

I'm not Kenyan but i am African (Nigerian to be precise) and the fact that she actually saw our continent's beauties. Alot of us go to school but some of us don't. It's very nice of her to visit and try to get education for the girls. Love Africa
being African, this seriously warms my heart.
Mine too 😍❤️✨

I really want to visit Africa one day. I'm a Filipina, born in the Philippines yet raised in the USA. Africa is just amazing!!

lilly, you are such a huge inspirational role model!!! What you said also made me realized how spoiled, and selfish i am in north america. You made me realize there are people all over the world who are less things than I do, but they are still happy. Thank you for making me realize this. I will be be alot more understanding, generous, and not taking adavtanage and granted of things,
koreancatherine yang please watch videos of Jim Nduruchi
Can I just say that I absolutely love this and what Lilly's doing is amazing. And the fact that she's giving different opportunities is awesome, but I guess about the whole 'I get to say to my parents I wanna be a UA-camr' thing, I just think yeah, if you didn't get that choice you would be very pissed, but these people might be quite happy to get those jobs that you might not because they haven't known anything else... not saying that we shouldn't give them different opportunities, just that we shouldn't be so high and mighty thinking we're so much happier with all the things that first world countries have to offer.
Realise I'm only picking at one part of this video okay-I completely support this!
Lila Porter
yap i love my country and this is so beautiful
Sheelah Kenis Hello, im not trying to be rude, but, why are they sor
hey! not sure i understood your question......
Sheelah Kenis why do the girls not have hair
devilazzie21 they do have hair but some ppl have brittle hair and that and sometimes it's hard to brush and loosen it from its tangles that's why they shave it
has nothing to do with hard hair, its just a cultural thing;thats my tribe and if it wasnt for my work i would have shaved mine too
This video actually made me tear up. Thank you, Lilly, for being an eye-opener.
I just want to say that i love you so much and you are such an inspiration to so many people. Please keep doing what you're doing!! xx ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
