I like both bands equally. They both tick different buttons for me. Inferi for melodic death metal and archspire for tech. This album is 11/10 though just pure mastery.

In my top three favourite bands. No other death metal band sounds as EPIC. It may be physically impossible to sound more epic than Inferi. This is more epic than all the power metal bands in the world put together. It's basically melodic technical power death metal.

I thought The Path os Apotheosis could never be toped. I never was so glad to be wrong! Stevie Elric is, as always, a monster of a vocalist and lyric writer(the section that references the "ghosts in the sky" made me goosebumps, no joke) Malcolm and Mike are guitar gods, period. Spencer is the warmachine embodiment, wich is no surprise. The Bringer of Great Pleasure brings the greatest of pleasures. This album is so good i never wanted it to end. Thank you so much Inferi for sharing your art with us, mere mortals! Hope i can catch you guys on tour one day. Stay safe!

I genuinely don't have anything I can say that can express the magnitude of how blown away I am. I literally cannot fathom Malcolm and Mike's guitar prowess but also their insane technicality and creativity. And literally everyone in the band has been improving. As a guitarist I always pay most attention to that but the vocals, drums and bassist are amazing as well. By far my favorite band. They somehow manage to blow me away more and more with every release.
I am so thankful I met these guys in the Glasgow Faces of Death tour show. It was an absolute pleasure and a revelation to me. Trying to catch up with what I've missed all these years. @Inferi if you're reading this, one of the crazy Greek guys you met that night.
The first time I listened to Inferi was when they released "The Path of Apotheosis." What a fucking masterpiece it was. And this one is just as great. Loving your new music!

after a few listen, I feel like the band has evolved and changed a lot since Revenant. The last EP was a only the beginning of a new era, this feels like a rebirth, on a path to even more mature, heavy and melodic music. I'm so stoked and exalted for this year, tech death has been relentless, as their music. This album is straight fire, my only disappointment is that it isn't long enough. But the repeat button will be hit like crazy so.. That riff of Vile Genesis, the vibe and ending of Heirs Of The Descent, all the riffs, everything is beyond amazing. Thank you for such great music :)
Even though I really want to hear the whole record, because I want my "cherry popped" via my CD player in my house or car, I still clicked on it for the view & like, but refuse to indulge myself until full appreciation.
This is extremely technical and esoteric. As I listen, I know not what is around the next corner. This album is surprising to me how "OG style Inferi" it is. But also extremely different from anything you have ever created. You guys are so amazing at what you do and we as fans are blessed to an elite degree to have experienced your musical creations. You are legends.
My copy finally came in the mail last night so I had to come here to say this is hands down my favorite Inferi to date and while I’ve loved all their past albums this one blew me away. Thank you Inferi and Artisan Era!
