Ah finally! I’ll be enjoying this on my day off. I never thought, after enjoying ‘our cursed rapture’ as much as I did, it would branch into this stranger than fiction reality where both guitarists have sick ass bands.
The more I listen to it, the better it becomes. One of my favorites part is (in addition to the very start, the era of DDDIIIINNN haha) is 8:36 and onward and again at 9:50, the way the energy level gradually ramps up every 5-10 seconds or so is so fucking well done.
Damn, that re-recording/mixing of ‘The Watcher, Wreathed in Flame’. The bass absolutely slaps and all the drum cymbals sound so crispy clear. I thought I was only waiting for 2 tracks I hadn’t heard, but it turned out to be 3. 🔥🔥🔥.
In december I preordered this EP on Bandcamp and there it's released friday the twelfth of february; I'm glad that on UA-cam I can enjoy The Final Tyranny three days earlier🎸🎶🤘
The vocals fit the instrumentals so well so that they can't exist one without the other (I also listened to the drum playthrough for the 2nd track, that's where my opinion comes from).
That solo in Tyrannical Reign of the Deceiver kept going and getting more melodic just as I thought it was going to end. Absolutely awesome. Need shirts.
Talk about scratching an itch! This delivers all the goods. Love the Vital Remains style soloing with badass drumming! This has ALWAYS been the winning formula! The whole buildup to the end of track 3 drums ON FIRE 💪👐 I hear inspiration from many different bands including but not limited to Immanifest, Council of the Fallen, Necrophagist, Arsis, Nile, Emperor, Dimmu Borgir, Unholy Matrimony, Order of Ennead, Behemoth, Spawn of Possession, Dark Matter Secret, Lost Soul, and as I already mentioned, Vital Remains! It don't get much better than this 👍👍

This is some top tier tech death. I love every track. The Watcher is my favorite I think. Makes me think of Psycroptic's The Scepter of Jaar Gilon. I know it's totally different, but there's something about the way it builds and fades away.
