For years I did not think I could find anything better or better than Vladmir Cochet had done in his Mirrorthrone project. I'm in love with work. Devastating and so handsome at the same time. Execution bordered on perfection. You have done something unique for the history of music. I waited 11 years to hear and feel the same thing when I found Mirrorthorne. The Abnegation is absolutely beautiful.
i still come back to this album sometimes, its fantastic, especially Unsightly Beast and Quell the Voiceless, i wish i grabbed the wallflag back when it was available
Generally, I'm a traditional classical music & fairly straightforward symphonic black metal lover, but I have to say that this is some impressive musicianship indeed... excellent work!

Willy has a DEATHWISH I understand but also some times you get half of the song that have a 1 min intro with then a 2 min clean part in the middle and it's jjst boring to listen. This is one of the reasons i could never get inferi. Its just gonna takme much more time
I'll agree with you on that, some bands have songs that are instrumental intro/outros that feel too long and unnecessary, but for me I fell in love with inferi since they tell one big cohesive story that plays out like an actual novel, it's just perfect since I love reading books and imagining things etc. But I agree, a good 20-35 minute long album isn't bad either

Sometimes I don't completely understand what's happening in the song other than fast drumming.I think bands like this should consider using less distortion. I'm clearly no expert of musical production, but maybe it's too compressed?

Where are the mids , the low mids , the mid and sub bass ? whats that upper mid unevenness ? Are you on crack while in the studio . I don't know who mastered/produced it but he/she deserves beating .How could you fuck up such a marvel ? Yo , Artisan Era , please remaster it and let me download for free since i have already paid . The musicians are great , though .
