Already listened to the album twice today and cueing up for a third listen in headphones. TZP has crafted another masterpiece. I love their sound. It can be challenging to stand out in this genre but they accomplish it beautifully! Cheers for Datalysium!! 🤘

@@kareltrumm2258 For the last few years, I've been listening to way less metal for some of these reasons. it gets difficult to digest and for most of these bands, it all goes crumbling down live because it can't achieve the same feel or end result (There are exceptions of course !). But honesty for this album yeah It is robotic but I find the production way more agreable to listen to than other records. Well balanced, tight playing and there are some nice groovy licks in there !
so nice to hear non-boring tech death. Some bands do it right. but this makes me think of necrophagist/ the faceless when this genre was just popping off.
TZP is really setting a new standard in the genre, it's OK to be different, it's OK to add elements that may be unconventional. The reason I stopped listing to tech metal years ago was every band sounded the same and it got boring fast. I hope this album and TZP can pioneer the genre for more creative albums to come after it.

The remixes are great. The production quality is actually insane. The compositions are mind boggling. The progression through the album is stupefying. Album of the year? First Black Medium Current and now this. It's been a good year for high quality metal so far.
I listen to the album, you can hear a lot of hard work and creative thought to push their boundaries went into this album. This is one of my favorite tech/death/prog albums, up there a long side Necrophagist. Groovy, jazzy, technical, brutal and progressive all blended together beautifully.
I wanted to add, holy shit I didn’t realize how intense the songs was till I heard it on my cars surround sound speakers, I hear all the little details, the synths better wow it gives you this existential crisis discovering a new reality/unifying and fusing between two parallel universes like the album cover I can’t explain it. This album was mixed and engineered so well I’m blown away still.

While I agree it’s (tech) AOTY and Deletion Cult is the best song, “nothing comes remotely close”? Not even Gorod - The Orb with songs like We Are The Sun Gods, Breeding Silence, Savitri & Scale of Sorrows? Especially the first 2 are already tech death classics imo 😃
Very refreshing and creative. High level tech. All sound like it was distilled a hundred times, every section and transition is well thought. The music is breathing despite being fast and dense.

(02:27) ALGORITHMIC SALVATION (10/10) -LOVE the super intense percussive main riff! Love the more bass prominent breakdown from 4:08 onwards, and the solo (4:28) is tasty af! (05:57) LEXICONTAGION (10/10) -3rd best song on the album - Awesome percussive main riff, classic tech death verses (6:25), and 7:08 is heavy af. The prog break at 7:36 is GOAT'ed! (8:21 for solo) (09:38) SYNAPTIC DEPRAVATION -11:06 TRippi. Tasty lead at 11:42 followed by an atmospheric break (12:07) with a bass solo (12:16) and guitar solo (12:35)! Cool synth layer & outro at 13:51! (15:50) DELETION CULT (10/10) -Song of the year! Tight riffing (16:26), and I LOVE the dynamic riffs and shifts between synth & guitar (17:11)!!! I think everyone forgets how early decapitated sounded like this in a lot of ways. They aren't really death metal anymore but the original line up deserves some credit for their influence on tech death.
Those Black/Mustard LPs have sold out everyhwere in both the US and EU in a matter of two days. That's practically unheard of when it comes to music as niche-y as this, unless we're talking Archspire levels of popularity. Congrats on a great album! Imo this is the album of the year so far. Great sound technique, effects and hook. Sometimes you can't understand how they can keep together some sounds but they do and it dumn works! It's like mixing meshuggah, primus, between the buried and me and some gojira, fusion, progressive and elettro. I loved it and divinertia 2 is probably my favorite together with algorithmic salvation

Elegant combination of Necrophagist technicality, power, and modern brutality while occurring on an intergalactic space flight. This has been on repeat for months for me. I simply can’t get enough of it. The entire album is an absolute masterpiece. My girlfriend often mocks it, and she doesn’t understand how I can listen to it. I told her there’s people who listen to music because they like the sound, then there’s people who listen to music for what it’s comprised of. Metal constantly exceeds the expectations given by previous albums, and the musicianship in technical death metal is unlike any other.
This is beautiful guys.. I've been listening to algorithmic salvation for a while now, and to hear this whole album through...it's just amazing man, well done guys 🍻 .
@@chrisss3749heh, I was thinking Gorod: The Orb (2023 as well) with the black background and an orange(/yellow) circle in the middle :P Although Zenith’s art is cooler with the arms, I prefer detail-ridden covers like Inferi (Revenant, Sunless Realms, Vile Genesis) or most Par Olofsson artworks. Hell, Gorod ALSO had a cooler cover for their single (Breeding Silence) compared to the album cover, wtf 😅🥲

The problem is that this is not all tech death and the non-tech stuff is not very compelling (lots of automated twilight and datalysium)

I simply can’t get enough of it. The entire album is an absolute masterpiece.
My girlfriend often mocks it, and she doesn’t understand how I can listen to it.
I told her there’s people who listen to music because they like the sound, then there’s people who listen to music for what it’s comprised of.
Metal constantly exceeds the expectations given by previous albums, and the musicianship in technical death metal is unlike any other.

Although Zenith’s art is cooler with the arms, I prefer detail-ridden covers like Inferi (Revenant, Sunless Realms, Vile Genesis) or most Par Olofsson artworks. Hell, Gorod ALSO had a cooler cover for their single (Breeding Silence) compared to the album cover, wtf 😅🥲
Definitely agree, I'm a bit disappointed they didn't keep one of the first two artworks. The album slaps anyway
