So yeah if I'm being honest, I wouldn't be any different I would try everything in power to defend myself and my people. I don't know why this is controversial at all.

They are barbaric. We could see that very well on October 7. They follow the radical teachings of Islam. But despite all the terror attacks, all the violence against unbelievers, women and homosexuals, it is still not clear enough for simple people to understand that the problem lies with the Gazans and not with Israel, which has constantly tried to reach peace agreements. Even other Arab countries do not want the Gazans. They also know what kind of terrorists they are.

You can’t have a serious conversation about this topic unless you’re willing to accept that one side are Europeans of the Jewish faith that went to another’s land and instead of sharing the land, it was taken and the indigenous people were placed under an occupation. Now connect that to why there’s terrorism.
The Irgun were the creators of modern terrorism. And their progeny is the Likud party. israel is and always has been a criminal terrorist organization.
You can't have a serious conversation when your don't understand the region or the facts. Allow me to correct some of your mistakes: "Europeans" = people with levantine DNA (a Russian jew is genetically closer to an Iraqi Kurd than to an ethnic Russian) who have *thousands* of years of history in Israel, including a temple over a thousand years older than the entire islamic religion. "Europeans" = ignores the fact that the *majority* of jews in Israel are non-Ashkenazim; they come largely from the Diaspora of jews kicked out of neighboring arab states (that's an *actual* ethnic cleansing you will never talk about) and would be considered "people of color." You vanish them in your attempt to write a narrative of Israeli jews as "white" "europeans" "Indigenous people" = arabs from the Arabian peninsula who, in the 7th century (thousands of years after jews were in Israel) slaughtered their way through the upper arabian peninsula and into the levant, genociding literally dozens of different tribes and peoples, and then building a mosque on top of the holiest site in all of judaism. Also, people from neighboring countries ("Al Masri," one of the most common Palestinian surnames, literally translates to "the egyptian" - because many of these folks are simply descended from a huge immigration influx into the region *after* jews started to make the swamps and desert regions viable and began to institute plumbing, filtration, etc.) You are either ignorant of these massive influxes of non-jewish immigrants into the region as jews began to make the region attractive, or you are intentionally avoiding the subject. And, of course, you're ignoring the fact that the JNF and such actively *purchased* land, ignoring the fact that the vast majority of land was public, *government* land, to be distributed as per the governing entity (at the period, the mandatory power), etc. It's like your only understanding of this issue is a picture book or a tiktok reel. "Occupation" = Israelis exercising their sovereignty under the international legal principle of Uti Possidetis Juris, wherein the sole country to declare independence arising from Britain's abdication of its mandate (Israel) inherits the borders of the last topline governing entity in the region. You will throw the term "occupation" around because you don't know what it means. When Jordan occupied Judea and Samaria from Israel, and renamed it the west bank, THAT was an "occupation," because the land was part of Israel under both the Uti Possidetis Juris principle AND the San Remo conference, which was incorporated into the UN charter (resolution 181 was a non-binding recommendation, so it doesn't actually have any bearing on the legal basis for Israel one way or another). Why on earth would it be considered an "occupation" for Israel to win it back? If Ukraine wins back the land occupied by Russia right now, would we consider the recovered Ukrainian land to be occupied...by Ukraine? This is the sort of ignorance required to be an israel-hater: you need to be utterly unfamiliar with the ethnic makeup of jews, ignorant of historic timelines, ignorant of international law... The reality is, people like you are legion. Some of it is consanguinity (a lot, actually), much of it is old religious hatred masquerading as ethics, a fair bit of it is anti-western inclinations taking the form of anti-Israeli performance art, because Israel represents, to much of the world, an "outpost" of the "west," etc. etc. This is why China / Russia find it so useful to mobilize their people - who couldn't care less about human rights - into the issue (ramping up social strife in the US is a win for them). So there's a few billion of you. You can yell loudly. You can repeat lies in an echo chamber all day. But history doesn't change because you're ignorant of it. I'm just sorry you have to live in an alternate reality.
@@marcusbridgewater280 I wasn’t sure if I should waste my time reading your one-sided narrative. Half of it is completely trash. Can you be ethnically Jewish? Is being Jewish passed through blood? You just explained exactly why I have more anxiety now I live in the US more than when I used to live in an unstable place like Egypt. Naked and simple evilness is easy to deal with and once you go home and close your door, you feel safe. In America, I fear every time I open my mailbox or receive a phone call. The complexity of the deception is on another level. Few people know how to sue others or scam them remotely in Egypt although the streets are fall of con artists who can steal your clothes without you feeling, including kids. It’s that constant thread that you can’t shut down even when you are behind closed doors that wracks your mental health. At least, we know the way to the corrupted officer in Egypt, get $$. In the US, you mostly don’t have an access to rich people’ high profile lawyers even if you have the money to buy. Another analogy is insult in the Middle East is very direct and people end up with physical fights. In a places like Texas , you think people are angels for being too nice and cordial but you don’t understand that they are being passive aggressive, and they are actually insulting you behind that fake smile. It hurts more when you don’t understand it immediately, nor expect /prepare for it. There is something about that calculating rational evil that’s more unsettling to me now. The type of evil vibe you get when you watch sophisticated Nazi Doctors in a World War II documentary.

Here’s the deal: People, whoever they are, and whatever beliefs they have, need to figure out how to live together without killing each other. That’s really the bottom line here. Both sides of this conflict have treated the other side horrifically. What needs to happen, is that sensible people, that believe in humanity as a whole, need to get together, sit down, and figure out a way to share where they reside. The past atrocities have to be placed to the side. You can’t fix what was done in the past. Both sides need to stop killing each other, and figure out how to coexist. If this doesn’t happen, the death and destruction will continue. They can either choose to live in death and destruction, or learn how to live together. It’s no more complicated than that.
That sounds great on paper. Until it gets into implementation. One side (Hamas) is making its official goal to erase the other side. This small nuance blocks everything. When Hamas is no longer capable of fighting then there might be some talks.

Anytime I ask people in the West what they would honestly do if they were Palestinian themselves.... they are quiet and don't share a response.
If someone destroyed your homeland, would you defend yourself & your family?
Of course you would, as much as you possibly had the ability to do.
(Especially these 2nd amendment /gun citizens that talk about taking up arms against a foreign aggressor who wants to do them or their family harm.)
Stop asking them. They are hypocrites.
jews lived there for way longer than any arabs or muslims. the optedsors and colonizers are clearly the arabs
Evactly
What a shame
I think there was an Israeli member of parliament if I remember correctly, that was asked this very question and his response was _"I WOULD DO EXACTLY WHAT THE PALESTINIANS ARE DOING NOW"_ or something along those lines I might be misquoting here.
So yeah if I'm being honest, I wouldn't be any different I would try everything in power to defend myself and my people. I don't know why this is controversial at all.
If you think the excuses of security threats are valid for Israil you can say the same for Russia and the security threats from Ukraine to become part of the NATO!!! It is just BS … Israel want to get more land and there is no other excuses
Israel is a security threat to Palestinians. Numbers have been clear since 1948.
Dave failed to say that the security threat started as a response to security threat. Hamas did not exist until 80’s….after decades of oppression.
If israel wanted more land.... they can take it and nobody can stop them.
Exactly, and they are taking it as we speak.

We need to start calling people out for using words like “barbaric” - it’s deeply rooted in racism against Middle Easterners. It’s so disgusting how casually & constantly this word is used to describe the Palestinians.
but are they not?? please explain it to me.... i know these people and their mentality and that word is the exact word i would use. many of us in middle east are just that....
@@farsalami8605 But let’s talk about Israeli barbarism. “God gave us this land 3000 years ago “. And the groomed and brainwashed children on Israeli TV singing a happy song about genocide. Oh, and the Sampson Option. You know, remorseless butchery and unbridled supremacism based on self-inflating superstition is the very height and depth of barbarity. Christ was totally true in what he said about these children of the devil, this Synagogue of Satan.

Thank you, Tom, for your bravery and integrity. As a Palestinian Jordanian, I truly appreciate you sharing this video. You're a legend!
They are not a democracy because half millon of Palestinians inside Jerusalem have no voting right y they only have a bleu Card. There are 2 millons of Platebjans who have the right to vote living inside Israel 48 but they do not have other rights as Jews ,like to own land,to give citizenship to their spouse ..
And then there is Apatheid in West Bank ,where Jewish settlers have civil laws ,the right to own land,to build houses,Palestinians under military laws, and no licence to build houses. And then occupation proper to Gaza by blockade. No right to deal with the world ( concentration camp for 18 years)

The US is not a democracy either.😑
They say it's a democracy.
It's supposed to be a republic.
In reality, it's an oligarchy.
Right
The US federal corporation is located in the city state called Columbia. It is a democracy.
For those who want to point out it's a Republic. It's not a Democratic Republic either. States have next to no control anymore the Federal government has taken most of it.
@@typeorulz if you wanna know there is by definition no democracies in the world. Democracy is in its principal cannot exist. Democracy is when the power and decision making belong to people. But in fact the people have only one decision to make is to choose the leader, that literally will rule (not people)
Dont forget the Palestinian hostages in israeli “detention” without a trial indefinitely. Just cuz its got a nice name doesnt mean its not kidnapping.
Allow me to correct some of your mistakes:
"Europeans" = people with levantine DNA (a Russian jew is genetically closer to an Iraqi Kurd than to an ethnic Russian) who have *thousands* of years of history in Israel, including a temple over a thousand years older than the entire islamic religion.
"Europeans" = ignores the fact that the *majority* of jews in Israel are non-Ashkenazim; they come largely from the Diaspora of jews kicked out of neighboring arab states (that's an *actual* ethnic cleansing you will never talk about) and would be considered "people of color." You vanish them in your attempt to write a narrative of Israeli jews as "white" "europeans"
"Indigenous people" = arabs from the Arabian peninsula who, in the 7th century (thousands of years after jews were in Israel) slaughtered their way through the upper arabian peninsula and into the levant, genociding literally dozens of different tribes and peoples, and then building a mosque on top of the holiest site in all of judaism.
So if my dad was Christian I’m by blood Christian ? If I was born in Lebanon and I’m Christian, does that make me Roman? Or can I go to Rome and claim the land based off my religion. Or is it ethnicity? I guess it’s smart to have a broad definition of Jewishness. It’s pretty nice to be born in Poland and be able to claim land in the Mideast.
@@marcusbridgewater280Even if that’s all correct, Israel’s management of the current situation will only cause more trouble for Israel. That’s also a reality.

Dave Smith explains it very well. Respect!
