I like how you tell us what is going on along the way, with wind and tide and course. I'm not always up to speed on some terms, but it helps get to know them. Thanks for the sub too.
It was some time ago maybe 3/5 years ago when I did main sheet to tiller , I think I went straight from my main sheet ( made sure my main sheet can run free)to a block or winch on Port/STB then to tiller and of course have a shock cord on Opposite side. I do like the way you set yours up.
Once you get the feel for it boom to tiller on a beam reach works perfectly 5-25 kts. I set my boat with a touch of weather helm and no bungee cord needed.
Viewing with great interest from The Algarve in Portugal. Looking to make HB our base when we get back to Oz later this year.
Travel should be easier by then. Hervey Bay is a good destination for all things sailing.
Check out the videos I did on Whatumba Creek. Showcases some of what HB has to offer.
Keep on sailing and smiling mate. Love your videos.
