"Where're we going Wombi?" 🤣 Gold.
You Can't say that on UA-cam!!!
It's magic up that way. I sailed with my brother in a 40' yacht up that way in the 90s, so I know how beautiful it is in that part of the world.
Yep. Had a great time here this season. Sad to leave Dude.
Really enjoyable. Thank you. RIP Pip.
Thanks Dude. Yep I still miss my old mate.
Another great video!
Thanks for watching Dude
You know Wombi and Ted are indispensable to this channel don’t you? Don’t bugger it up!!!
I do Dude. Think they'll be around for a loooong time.
Nice.
Thanks Dude
Good whiting at Kauri Creek, just a little north
Yep. Sounds good Dude
RIP Pip ❤ nice to hear she's still in your thoughts 🙏even if a little bit of a faux pas moment there
Yep. She was a great little mate.
Vert tranquil will explore thanks for sharing great video
Thanks for commenting.
So looking forward to cruising there Norm. Great episode.
Thanks Dude. A good spot.
No dogs allowed on Fraser island
There's dingos everywhere.
Good stuff as usual Norm! What happens with the navigation markers when the effective upstream/downstream changes?
Not sure what you mean Bob. They change them after surveying the entrance and they are Port and starboard virtual lateral marks, so going in Port to Port. Comming out other way around.
Hope this helps Dude.
Sorry for the confusion. You mentioned that half way up the Great Sandy Strait there is a region where the tides oppose each other. Would this mean that the definition of upstream/downstream is hard to define? Particularly in relation to navigation markers which are based on whether you are heading upstream or downstream. Hope this clarifies my question.
Yep OK Bob.
Most of the inland waterways that are open to the sea at each end in Aust. Eg. Sandy Strait...The Narrows..The Gold Coast Broadwater, are marked from South to North. So when heading north, you are travelling in the direction of buoyage.
Hope this helps Dude.
Yes, thanx Norm. That makes a lot of sense now! cheers Bob
What are the bathrooms like in that marina? As everything else you're mentioning is ticking a lot of boxes!
Yep Bathroom's and Laundry Good
