That has been a great series, so much, I am going back to watch them over again. Some one said if you only sailed the Fraser coast eria, you could never see it all. Chris your sunsets leave me wanting more , and the next day dosent disapoint. Thankyou
Thanks again Christopher for sharing you experience with us I am currently sailing vicariously along with you. I am impressed with the quality of your videos and hope to learn a little about that also as I eventually hope to start some videos of my own. Cheers David
I had a pop top tyler and it's unbelievable how cool it makes the cabin with the top up . Lets see what's up those little hide holes you can reach 😉👍👍🇺🇸
With a draft of just 10” there is nothing stopping us. Your right about the pop top. I sling a fine mozzie net over the top to keep the bugs out and stay cool.
Just sailed my Sonata 6 for the first time this weekend - nice quiet inland waterway with an easy boat ramp. Slept overnight and had a few good reaches on 15 kt gusts. Why didn't I do this years ago!!!
Hi Chris, I have watched most of your videos - thank you for posting!! I am in the market for a TS. I was very taken with Mozart and then I saw your vids on the Sunmaid (Saffron?). We need to stay smallish because our towing vehicle is a diesel rodeo (braked capacity 2000kg). Do you prefer the Sunmaid or Sonata? Are they both easy to tow with a smallish vehicle? Would you go as far as a Sonata 6.7? Or a Boomaroo22? Boomerang 20? I would love to chat with a TS owner with your experience before I make the purchase (Blue Mountains NSW happy to take this offline if you'd prefer)
Hi Mathew. Can we connect on Messenger? There is quite a bit to discuss on this subject, and I may have something of interest to you. I just acquired a new boat (now 3) and will be launching a video on this amazing story over this weekend. All those are good boats, each has its pros and cons. I tow the sunmaid with my 2wd rodeo
Hi Chris - thanks so much for getting back to me - I 've only just seen your message. Since posting, I have just bought a Sonata 6 - I pick it up weekend after next. Well maintained , in need of a tidy up, brand new 6hp outboard, on a great sturdy trailer. I'm not on facebook. Thank you for your number, I may well call you soon to discuss. And, thank you for all your very informative videos!!!
Hi Christopher, Thanks for a great video and don’t forget about the comment I sent you on how to do main sheet to tiller. Can you please tell me what engine you have , is it a old two stroke or a new two cylinder 4 stroke because I want to buy a new 4 stroke 2 cylinder engine but wanted to compare the noise .
@@SmallSailboatCruising hi, I said on your video about “How to set up self steering on a sailboat. sailing Trailer Boats” I said, I did one on my main sheet and it worked well. Have a lot at what you said on that video. And thanks for the info regarding the engine.
Hi Daniel. I’m glad the video series is encouraged you. I sold Mozart unexpectedly and I’m invested in the floor sanding machine. Saving up for my next boat and then I plan to create some more videos. Keep me posted on your adventures. Cheers Chris

Thanks James. The towns an inlets on the eastern coast of the mainland are worth visiting too.

@@john1boggity56 The Sonata won't disappoint. They are great little boats. Have fun.

The engine is a four stroke Honda GX140. www.engine-specs.net/honda/gx140.html it’s the second on I’ve had in her. The first got dunked.

2 stroke would be noisy and high revving I do recall your self steering comment but remind me?

Are in still in TCB mate? Or was it just a little day trip?
I was there for a few days.
Fairly regular visitor. Between boats right now. Need to earn some money for the next leg of life’s journey
