Beth is the Stevie Ray Vaughan of vocalists...raw, soulful, passionate, gritty, and coming from somewhere deep within the heavens.
You guys are good-got practically everything: never misses a note, mic control, powerful voice, training and professionalism, stage presence, and yes, she has made this song her own (but you didn’t mention story-telling and emotionality). Although this is an Etta James cover (one of Beth biggest influences), Beth mostly writes her own music and lyrics; plays piano, guitar, and bass in concert; and is absolutely mesmerizing on stage-she finishes her current European tour tonight in Stuttgart, Germany. You’re watching two of the greatest musical talents active today. Each is major star in their own right-Joe has 25 #1 Blues albums on Billboard and Beth has 7. They’re done 3 studio albums of Blues and Soul covers together (2011, 2013, 2018). Right, the album is a live recording in Amsterdam of the final show from a 4 country/5 show mini-tour in support of their 2013 Grammy-nominated “Seesaw” album.

Jimmy Barnes and Jo “ stone cold” and “ Lazy” . You won’t regret it ❤
I've been a semi-pro drummer for 40 years. That's the best guitar solo I've ever heard. Drummer is Anton Fig. He played in David Letterman's band for 20 years. Entire band is on fire.
Do yourself a favor and watch Beth Hart- Am I the one? live at The Paradiso. Iconic performance.
Epic talents! ❤❤ Great reaction 💗
You guys should watch her do change gonna come live. It’s unbelievable
Whoa!!! We might have to do that one next

Beth Hart - Caught Out In The Rain (Live At The Royal Albert Hall)
I would love to see you react to the whole Joe Bonamassa Live at the Greek Theater album...every song is amazing. Thanks for your great reactions!
Ya remember the show STAR SEARCH back in the day? BETH HART WON IT! She was 18 years old...
😊
You guys really should react to an all the one live in Paradiso by Beth Hart. That song and that concert live was awesome.
One of the great things about both of these artists is you can still see them live (and they are each absolutely fire live). I saw Joe a couple of years ago and Beth earlier this year. If you ever have the opportunity to see either one live don't miss it!
This is even better with the live video.
They were watching it.
I think they see her.
I have the Blu-Ray of this concert, and this song was the encore. She sang 20 songs before this one. This whole show is great!
Joe is one of the best blues players out there now been playing since he was a kid opening for big name artist as early as 12 yrs old and kicking ass lol
👏 Joe Bonamassa and Jimmy Barnes ‘Stone Cold’ also with a listen.
Joe and Beth do an incredible version of I’ll Take Care of You… watch the live video from the Beacon in NYC . It’s epic.
Absolutely pure fire. Beth sets up Joe who launches into another dimension. Perfect pairing of 2 of the most underrated performers on the planet.
must see tv
Better to see live
We were watching the live version but the recording was damaged so I could only put up a picture for you all to see.
Ever since Janis passed, people have thirsted for the next Janis. Beth is close. She’s got the balls. Lots of good singers out there tho. I bet Jennifer Holiday could kill this. Etta was different. So gifted. And she had attitude. But this was all good. Beth and Joe. Can’t go wrong there. I seen her do it with her band. Her guitar player can really play also.
Bonamassa should be put up there with some of the greatest guitar players.
I’ll take care of you should be next by these two, they are epic 😎
This was the last song of this concert... the song before was a cover of Tina Turner's "Nutbush City Limits" THEY ROCKED IT!!! Should check it out... and if you like Janis Joplin, you'll LOVE Beth doing "Am I The One" live from The Paradiso, you'll see Janis channeling through her 🤘
Gentlemen- you should hear her covers of Led Zeppelin...a woman who rivals Robert Plnat in power and emotion
The best reaction I have seen on this song by Joe and Beth, and I have seen them all, so please keep them coming.
I’m so glad you reacted to this one! I was going to request it. If this doesn’t take you to church nothin will 🙌🏻
I love Beth and Joe so another you might wanna try is Joss Stone... she is a soulful singer, barefooted most times as well lol
Saw her live and there are no words to decribe the great musical evening she always gives. No one comes out unmoved by her. A true singer as there remain so few nowadays.
I’ve seen Joe Bonamassa a few times and he just rips it. The band he puts together is first rate always! Reese Wynans usually on keys, Anton Figg on drums just great players
The video, live from Amsterdam is a must watch. Just may be the best performance I've ever seen.
We were actually watching it but the recording was damaged so we had to use a photo
@@AirplayBeats That's a shame. I have watched it many times. One of the best videos out there!
wheres the vid
@@craigbourbonevans ua-cam.com/video/UEHwO_UEp7A/v-deo.html
Beth is by far the best live performer of the past 20 years.
Gentlemen , if you what a great ride, hop on the BONAMASSA Express!
I triple dog dare you to react to ANY SONG ..off. Joe Banamassa , live at the Greek Theater, ..and the old guy on the piano in the performance, is Reece Wynan's...STEVIE RAY VAUGHNS keyboardist from Double Trouble.
The Tour from Greek Theater, was BONAMASSA 's Three Kings tour, celebrating music of , Freddie, Albert, and BB King.
Great reaction. These reactions are of songs that are important to the fans, so seeing them treated so well and careful, is really great. When someone isn't paying attention during a reaction, it just ruins it. These guys are tuned in, 100% and it makes it so much better.
I enthusiastically agree with everyone else, "I'll Take Care of You" live at the Beacon Theater is the one to do next. I love everything about it, especially Joe's guitar. And Beth is a beast (in a good way!).
💙☮💙☮💙☮💙☮💙
New subscriber and really enjoying your reactions.
You should try" I'll take care of you" by these two. You will love it
You need to check out Joe and Jimmy Barnes doing Stone Cold and Lazy. It'll blow you away.
Ok. Just realized that you were watching the video. lol
joes keyboardist is in the rock hall of fame with SRV and double trouble
Another amazing combo is Joe B & Jimmy Barnes Stone Cold in love with you and of course live 🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️
You guys have no idea how much joy, or at least, I get from watching you listen to music that is part of our, my, life...is not quite like hearing for the first time but is such fun it gets close! Thanks, keep on keepin on!
I have been captivated by Beth since the 90's. After she got sober, she became an AMAZING performer!! Check out:
"Am I the One", live at the Paradiso (2004)
"Caught Out in the Rain", live at The Royal Albert Hall
"I'd Rather Go Blind" with Joe Bonamassa, live in Amsterdam.
Thank you for your candor and enthusiasm!
Seasoned performers 🎉
I like their collaboration where she sings I'll take care of you much better than this but this is a great great song!
Y’all should watch her live at the paradiso singing am I the one! Unbelievable!!! She put on a fabulous show!
Great reaction as usual, Beth is awesome! 💚🎸🤙 Some different bands to check out:
Blacksabbath: the pioneers of metal. Don't let their name scare you :)
Alice in Chains: deep lyrics
Metallica: metal with a message
Checkout these two- live at the beacon theater - I’ll take care of you!! Joe smokes on guitar!!!
Joe B is great. Check out him doing Goin Down with Stevie Ray Vaughn’s former keyboardist. It’s unreal.
Beth just released a Zeppelin tribute album.
GREAT reaction to this masterpiece. Never get tired of it. Have seen Joe Bonamassa live in concert twice. Have been rattled for hours. His band is world class. Can only imagine what this concert would have been like. One little interesting tid bit...Beth Hart's first performance exposure was on an amature show called Star Search way back in the day.
I remember Star search.
Thanks for watching!!
@@AirplayBeats I Think Beth won the show with a cover of "Another Little Piece of My Heart. Thought your comments about the "mike" manipulation was interesting. There was none of that in her Janis Joplin cover. Another masterpiece to check out...Jimmy Barnes/Joe Bonamassa...STONE COLD. Thanks for your reply. (new subscriber).
You really miss a lot of the performance by not watching the live in Amsterdam version but if you want to check her out in a different venue see the live at Royal Albert Hall singing Caught Out In The Rain and the a solo while playing piano of Leave The Light On
We were actually watching the live performance. Had technical difficulties so we had to put the picture up there for the viewers
Love Beth but also want to thank Joe for his work. He is top notch. Check out a song by Beth from her title album "Fire on the Floor" and the song by the same name..
You should react to Beth Hart - Am I The One - Live At Paradiso
FYI she did a whole album of Zeppelin songs it's a tribute album you should check it out
Theres video out there from this show
Another one from these two is "I'll Take Care Of You"!! Dive deep!!🎶🎵 Beth has many awards including Blues Female Artist Of The Year, Blues Album Of The Year and many more!🎶
You guys are on it! A Live of this is worth your time...even without a reaction for us. Nice job fellas...
We were actually watching the live but it didn’t record properly so we put a picture up there
Joe Bonamassa was on stage at age 11, on the B.B. King tour. He is no joke, to say the least.
Fabulous performance by Beth hart & Joe . Would be great if y'all could do I'll take care of you live with Beth & Joe🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is the total apex of this album. But two other really good tunes from it are Chocolate Jesus and Someday After A While
I was thinking for a while that I would suggest some Bonamassa. His stuff with Beth is amazing, but you should also check out Joe's vocals and bluesy guitar on "Going Down".
JOE BONAMASSA is a must for your review. One suggestion is the Deep Purple tribute song called LAZY. Joe Bonamassa and Jimmy Barnes (singer) collaborate with Anton Fig on drums!!! The keyboard play is also phenomenal!!
You just knew Bonamassa was going to be something special when at 12 years old in 1989, he was the opening act for BB King!!!!!
I was going to suggest this song when I saw your Stevie ray vaughn reactions, also you should check out another friend of Stevie Jeff Healy band
Love that you loved this, Beth and Joe together are fantastic, but they equally have their own bands and are amazing! More from this concert "Somethings Got A Hold On Me", "Nutbush City Limits", "Can't Let Go", "For My Friends" all from Beth Hart & Joe Bonamassa Live in Amsterdam. If you have not heard Beth Hart "Am I the One" live at Paradiso please react to it. It is a one of kind performance you won't see today. Great reactions Guys!
La hit the nail on thread. It’s Tommy, and yes this is an Etta James Classic. My Late Wife LOVED Etta. Not many women can pull off any song by Etta. She was just a Power House of pure Emotion and Soul.
The closest I’ve ever been to heaven. Was holding my girl in my arms. Swaying back and forth to these lost classics. 🦋
Love You Guys
Tommy 😎
I hope you do more Beth and Joe. They are so good together playing the Blues.
This was another reason early on I loved you guys!!! Because I appreciate and love Beth Hart!!! And for me and you guys to love an Evil dark Black Sabbath song and still like and appreciate a song like this as well? It shows me is about the music!!! Thank you guys for just being you guys!!!
BETH HART, ONE OF THE ALL TIME GREAT PERFORMERS...💓💓💓💓💓
BTW!! Beth Hart has done some Led Zeppelin covers! She is AMAZING!!
You should've done the live video, it's the most passionate visual video on UA-cam today 😍 you get 50% more seeing the emotion
We were actually watching the live video but the recording of it failed so I just put a picture up there.
@@AirplayBeats thanks guys 😎
@@MichaelLynch1 thank you for watching!! Happy Holidays!!
I've been checking out Beth Hart for a couple of years now and she can really knock your socks off, but she runs hot and cold on performances in mho
I was lucky enough to her Etta James and Chuck Berry on stage.
Seriously check out Joe on his own. Joe Bonamassa Going Home (Freedie King song) and he's playing using Albert Kings iconic V body guitar which he owns. Thanks guys keep em coming. PEACE ✌️
When have you ever seen Beth "cold"? It seems she's always either "sizzling hot" or "blistering sizzling hot."
Hearing Beyonce singing this at the end of Cadillac Records was so powerful
I didn’t think she put any emotion in it though. It sounded flat to me. She sang the song but I don’t think she felt the song.
Sorry guys, I didn't know you have added one of the best female singer of all time!!!! And Joe Bonamassa is brilliant!!!
You need the video of this performance.
Funny how they were commenting on things they were seeing. Isn’t it? 😅
Sorry for adding another comment, but in regards to Beth covering Etta James, here is another one with just Beth in an acoustic set singing "I'll Take Care of You". Great stuff. ua-cam.com/video/Nj12Ytzc0Hc/v-deo.html
Her voice + his guitar = the perfect storm. Joe is a bad ass on the guitar and is one of the best guitarists (that is still alive). He's not far behind Stevie Ray Vaughan
I had the privilege of seeing Joe Bonamassa live last year. One of the best guitarists on the Planet.
Great reaction gentlmen! Better than Janice! Tone, range rasp, vibrato... Longevity!
need to see her do "Am I The One" with her band (at Paradiso)
You guys should check out this version. Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, & Warren Haynes Perform "I'd Rather Go Blind".
How about a reaction to one of Joe Bonamassa's idols, the legendary Rory Gallagher? Try checking out some of the numbers from the 1979 Rockpalast (Loreley) performance such as "Tattoo'd Lady", Moonchild" or "Off the Handle"? You'll be blown away by his energy and guitar skills.
Yes 💯 I agree with comment down below.Janis and Stevie nicks are my two fave.female artist.Beth is awesome.
Please listen to Can't You See by the Marshall Tucker Band. You will love it.
Check her out doing Billie Holiday's Strange Fruit. That was a dangerous cover but she totally did that justice too.
So glad you were watching it. That's Joe's band.
This is one of the greatest cover songs I ever heard. If you're interested in great cover songs, listen to Heard it Through the Grapevine by CCR. I know you'll dig it unless you've heard it already. It's completely different than the original but it kicks booty.
Great Reaction. I love it. Subscribed.
Hey brothers you got to check out Stanley Jorden doing Stairway to heaven on guitar. He is one of the greatest finger tapping players. He is playing the song with out strumming or picking. You have never heard anyone play this song this way. On the video he is wearing a yellow jacket. The video is 7 min and 42sec long that is the one you have check out. This cat will blow your mind!!!!
Joe is a star in his own rite. This is Joe's band backing Beth. Do your homework on these two. Joe has help Beth personally and professionally. It's a great backstory.
I’ve seen a number of the video’s you young gentlemen commented on, and this is the first one I seen where you two were so excited and gave the props, I just say thank you. Well done guys.
I appreciate you guys take on things. It's better than most. You have to react to Joe and Beth doing. I'll take care of you. Of course reacting to anything they do is good stuff. Until next time. Stay well, and poppin' for fresh
You have to check out Beth Hart singing “Caught out in the rain” live at the Royal Albert Hall. That video/song made me a Beth Hart fan.
Wrong one . The live version of this Beacon Theater, New York IS THE ONE MUST SEE
Joe bonamasa was opening for BB King at 12 yrs old, a prodigy... And beth hart is an american treasure
Country’s Greatest Guitarist - Keith Urban - switches from plucking to using a pick so fast, you miss it most of the time.
Beth Hart's "Leave The Light On" lets you understand the hard road she has traveled.
ua-cam.com/video/ETj8kXNAtuE/v-deo.html
Five songs already? LOL, this was the second encore for the show. This is after a complete show.
Glad you guys found Beth Hart! Check out any live video of her and she kills it! Joe is one of the best guitarists out today! You guys have good taste!
SMOOOOTH. KEEP PLAYING MY MUSIC AND I'LL STAY. IF NOT I WILL BE UNSUBSCRIBE
Have you seen Etta James live version at Montreux? If you don’t, you need to!
Must here them do "Strange Fruit" , I'll take care of you " and her alone sing " Fire on the floor"
Beth Hart & Joe Bonamassa - I'll take care of you live .... Is all i have to say trust one hell of a performance.
