I've been on this earth for 77 years. I've heard more than my share of blues guitar solos, many of them by the Greats of the genre. But THIS.... this solo remains at the very top of my list of blues guitar solos for a few reasons not the least of which is the way he channeled Beth's vocal phrasing and heart-rending emotion into his guitar. And I have to say none of that praise for Joe in any way diminishes Beth's spectacular, gut-wrenching performance. For me, this is one of the greatest live collaborations ever. Love your reactions to this! Rock on ladies! Rock on!
If you haven't done it yet, you need to check out Joe and Beth doing "I'll Take Care Of You". Also, Joe and Glen Hughes ( who did stints with Deep Purple and Black Sabbath) formed a 'super group' in 2009 along with drummer Jason Bonham ( the son of late Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham ) and keyboardist Derek Sherinian (played with Alice Cooper and Billy Idol). They made 6 albums so far, and maybe check out Joe singing "Song Of Yesterday". Joe also played with another band called "Rock Candy Funk Party" and they put out an album in 2013 called "We Want Groove". Joe is amazing in all that he does.
@@WilliamPickett75, You are correct. I'm not sure how I forgot to put the name up. I have all their albums but one, and I have the DVD of that one, along with the four albums Beth and Joe did together and twenty one of Joe's and all but two of Beth's. Yeah, I'm a bit addicted. 😂
If you haven't done it yet then Beth Hart - Am I The One - Live At Paradiso is a must. She just cuts loose on this one. She gets down into the audience and if you look closely you will see she isn't wearing any ear monitors. She is in front of the stage monitors as well so her only audible reference to how she sounds it the Speakers feeding the audience. She is fearless in her singing and the band backing her is pretty damn good also.
Great Joe and Great Beth!!!I listened to this piece " Rather go blind" sung by Etta James, Tina Turner ,Beyoncè and others. Some were great Interpretations In live others in studio , in movies with choruses, with vocalists, with "tears" flowing from eyes with long eyelashes, all certainly with participation according to their soul, but I can say that, at least for me, Beth, especially the version at the Paradise in Amsterdam. with Joe Bonamassa at guitar ,really put a soul, through voice and gestures, which encompasses love, fear, jealousy, resentment, anger and, at the end you feel the sweetness and pain together asking not to be abandoned and, preferring to say that it would be better to go blind not to see the betrayal Love from Roma,Italy.
Came here for a live Joe solo for which I was not disappointed. The vocals and backing instruments were phenomenal. Y'all's reaction put the sweet in tea !
About ten years ago or so, my husband watched a PBS special featuring Joe. Up to that point he had never heard of him. That segment blew his mind! Then out of nowhere, his best buddy in another state, mailed him a cd of Joe not knowing he had seen the special, and my hubby was just blown away! He always said of this particular friend that they were so in tune with each other and their love of blues had them both all over their hometown of Chicago visiting each venue time and time again! Beth is just a phenomenal singer and reading how they came together as performers and friends was heartwarming! Great reaction ladies!!
Love you gals. This was the second encore of a 10 song set, that night. The keyboardist on this song was not Reese Wayans who was with SRV. Try listening to Joe & Beth, doing "I'll Take Care of You" LIVE at the Beacon Theater, and tell Donna to hold-on Tight !!
Joe's guitar singing is what drue me to his music. I recently saw him with an old Australian rocker(Jimmy Barnes), and I was completely blown away. Absolutely stunning. The song is 'Stone Cold'. I thoroughly recommend it.
If you lovely ladies want some more Joe, I highly recommend you check out Jimmy Barnes and Joe Bonanassa performing "Stone Cold" official video. Try not to throw your Knickers at the screen!
Grandma: This was recorded before Stevie Ray Vaughan's pianist, Reese Wynans, became a part of Joe's band. I've spent at least 200 hours listening to Joe. You should react to Joe & Beth on I'll Take Care of You - also - as well as Joe's other stuff featuring his singing & Beth's other stuff with her own band (this was Joe's band on this video).
Oh the list runs deep! Beth and joe :Damn your eyes is one that doesn’t get any reactions. Beth : why don’t you do right Joe: I’ll play the blues for you Are my personal favs
You should definitely check out Jimmy Barnes version of Stone Cold with Joe Bonamassa. Joe's his usual self (fantastic) and Jimmy has an incredibly soulful blues voice. I think you'd all love it but particularly Donna.
Beth won best female blues vocalist 10 plus times joe bonamassa has 12 or more complete albums and was voted best living Blues guitarist ,Joe whole band is world class musicians
If you haven't done it yet,you need to react to "Stone Cold" by Jimmy Barnes, featuring Joe Bonnamassa.Jimmy's vocals will blow you away, you won't be disappointed.
Joe is the God of guitar without a doubt and the berth is the God of voice. They set the mountain on fire with performance, as good as it gets. Someone can easily give his or her house while listening or watching them
A Note about keyboardist Reese Watters - On March 26 1969 , Reese was the Keyboardist for the Legendary Jam Session that would lead to the formation of The Allman Brothers Band . Gregg Allman was still in L.A. chasing the dream before his brother Duane called him to come back to Georgia after that night . As Legend had it after the jam session Duane was quoted as saying "If Anyone In This Room Ain't Gonna Be In My Band They're Going to Have to Fight Their Way Out of Here !" 🙂
Bonamassa opened for BB King at the age of 13; the dude is a prodigy! But yes, check out his live performances of "I'll Take Care of You" (with Beth Hart), "Nobody Loves Me But My Mother," "Sloe Gin," "Stop," honestly pick a live song by him and you'll love it regardless!
Rock & Blues Original "Bad Girl" Etta James was the singer that made this a hit in the 60's . There are plenty versions of her performing this song live on youtube .
Hello lady’s. That’s not Reese Wynans on keyboards on this show. It’s another very talented keyboardist Arian Schierbaum ,he's recorded or been on stage with many legendary musicians also And can Beth sing damn near anything including the phone book and make it sound good. Then all ya need is Joe’s guitar playing and your “Yellow Pages “add will be so much better. . 😂
Very cool , crazy talented musicians I have a friend who was doing a show down in LA area and Joe played a few songs with them. She said he’s crazy good and very nice. I was instantly jealous lol.
Beth has the mic at her waist on the high notes and no loss of power. Her voice and his guitar are a rare blend. God plays through them. It’s not piano, it’s a Wurlitzer organ. The keyboardist is not with SRV. Reese wayans is his keyboardist
You should really check out Joe Bonamassa with Eric Clapton doing "Further On Up The Road" @ The Royal Albert Hall! Fantastic Video. P.S. Your sound keeps cutting out.
Ok here's the deal. Why is Tayor Swift a billionaire but Beth Hart is only accessable on Youtbe? Bulls*it marketing seems to overshadow talent in the modern world and actual talent don't count for much. Makes me feel almost nostalgic for Simon Cowell. He was in it for the money but at least he recognised talent when he saw it.
Her voice + his guitar = the perfect storm

He with BB King when we was a pre-teen, and just kept getting better from there. He and Beth both make you feel the music like you don't wanna
Another great selection from Beth and Joe is I'll Take Care of You live at the Beacon Theater.
This is a rare thing…the Etta James version is just as good, IMO. It’s not a competition 👍🏻. AND, she got no Joe.
If you haven't done it yet, you need to check out Joe and Beth doing "I'll Take Care Of You". Definitely!
Black Country Communion is the name of his band with Glen and Jason

This is by far the best cover of Etta James masterpiece ❤❤❤
Beth is one of the best ever . You should listen to beth do am i the one live
Caught out in the Rain by Beth
This performance brings me to tears every time. So much emotion from both of them.
This is a steller rendition of this song first put out in 1967 by Etta James

Just love Beth. I have seen here in the Nederlands and Germany. Pure talent, and a true lady. 💯❤️🇮🇹🇧🇪🇪🇺
P e r f e c t i on. I love Beth & Joe by themselves, but together is magic!
Absolutely true. Reese Wynans was SRV's piano player. He is a legend. Still performs all the time down in Nashville. He is a legend.
Room mic cuts out occasionally.
I agree with Donna. Joe is awesome. Beth gives her all. Great pairing.
Reese Wynans hadn't joined Joe yet for this show. But your correct on the previous reaction.
Great Joe and Great Beth!!!I listened to this piece " Rather go blind" sung by Etta James, Tina Turner ,Beyoncè and others. This is what happens when you get a bunch of talented musicians together. This music is REAL.

I love the respect for the artists shown. Hats off to y'all.

The fabulous Anton Fig on drums.
Oh, "Leave the Light On" at Royal Albert Hall. is the version to listen to.
Joe's guitar singing is what drue me to his music. I recently saw him with an old Australian rocker(Jimmy Barnes), and I was completely blown away. Absolutely stunning. The song is 'Stone Cold'. I thoroughly recommend it.
Jimmy's daughter Mahaila also sings with Joe as a backing vocalist. She's not a bad singer either.
If you lovely ladies want some more Joe, I highly recommend you check out Jimmy Barnes and Joe Bonanassa performing "Stone Cold" official video. Try not to throw your Knickers at the screen!
Yes they need to do this, it’s bloody incredible

I love that woman. She is incredible talented
ABSOLUTE PERFECTION 💗🎵🎶🎸🥰
Oh the list runs deep!
Beth and joe :Damn your eyes is one that doesn’t get any reactions.
Beth : why don’t you do right
Joe: I’ll play the blues for you
Are my personal favs
You let Lulu sit in on Beth this time :) The song is originally by Eta James IMHO Joe is the greatest living guitar player and he can sing as well
Following you from your Angelina reaction. Enjoyed the singer and the band. Thanks for your wonderful reactions! good pick.
Thank you
You should definitely check out Jimmy Barnes version of Stone Cold with Joe Bonamassa. Joe's his usual self (fantastic) and Jimmy has an incredibly soulful blues voice. I think you'd all love it but particularly Donna.
Beyond brilliant. Beth and Joe are legends overhere in the Netherlands. Great concerts in Amsterdam. Talking about soooooooooul :)
Beth won best female blues vocalist 10 plus times joe bonamassa has 12 or more complete albums and was voted best living Blues guitarist ,Joe whole band is world class musicians
Best version and BEST female rock soul singer.
Beth Hart is a Stunner! Her vocals are amazing, I recommend you look more into both Beth & Joe's other stuff, for sure!
Saw him play as a 16-year-old kid in a bar in northern New York one summer, my jaw was hanging open the whole time.
I bet he is awesome.
Maybe because he had been a professional for 7 years by that point.
If you haven't done it yet,you need to react to "Stone Cold" by Jimmy Barnes, featuring Joe Bonnamassa.Jimmy's vocals will blow you away, you won't be disappointed.

When Joe has his "stank face" on you know that his guitar is going to sing. And what can you say about Beth? What an awesome performance.
Beth is the Stevie Ray Vaughan of vocalists. Raw, passionate, powerful, soulful, and coming from someplace absolutely otherworldly.
I have saw Joe in concert 4 different shows, and Beth 3 times, always gr8 concerts!
I bet
Look for Bad Woman Blues by Beth. The version she sings in a little bar in Berlin (I think) or Am I the One live at the Paradiso.
Ladies listen to Black Coffee from the same concert, really shows the power of Beth's voice
Check out Humble Pie doing Black Coffee!!!
Rock & Blues Original "Bad Girl" Etta James was the singer that made this a hit in the 60's . There are plenty versions of her performing this song live on youtube .

Nice to meet you ladies.
Same here
The Key board player is Arlan Schierbaum Reese Wynans Is now playing keys for Joe.
Joe and Beth did a great cover of the song, "Black Coffee". Beth's pipes are on high octane for that one.
Youve got to check out "I'll take care of you" Beth & Jo so good!
2 icons! Since y'all love the Blues, how about some Allman Bros and early LZ!
Hello lady’s. That’s not Reese Wynans on keyboards on this show. It’s another very talented keyboardist Arian Schierbaum ,he's recorded or been on stage with many legendary musicians also

I've been to five joe concerts. Reese played all of them.
Very cool , crazy talented musicians
I have a friend who was doing a show down in LA area and Joe played a few songs with them. She said he’s crazy good and very nice. I was instantly jealous lol.
Another earlier great version of this song was song by Etta James. I think she was the original singer (?). Anyway her version is also spectacular.
Joe needs some room y'all back up..😂!! ❤
And the guitar is crying too
Beth has the mic at her waist on the high notes and no loss of power. Her voice and his guitar are a rare blend.
God plays through them.
It’s not piano, it’s a Wurlitzer organ. The keyboardist is not with SRV. Reese wayans is his keyboardist
