Been Beth’s fan for almost a decade, bought all her musics, and last year i saw her in DC live, amazing talent, big heart, old soul. When I discovered Ren in December, my first thought was Beth would feel his struggles and art. They are both unique and versatile artists who overcome their struggles and fight every day. Love Beth ❤ Love Ren ❤ Love Black Pegasus 😊
No, thank YOU! Found you and Mr Joe some years back - looking at YT's suggestions list to the right, seems like a lot of modern 'reactors' are finding you of late, too 👍😎
I have your beautiful Black Coffee red vinyl double album. I love it. It always makes me go to my happy zone. From your Kiwi fan living it up large in London! ♥️😘
I can't believe you talked right through one of the best parts of Beth's vocals:( and then did it again during Joe's solo:( Just think how good you would have thought they were if you listen to them.:)
This was hard to watch... If it were a REN reaction, he'd be showing the respect that Beth deserves, and not ignoring what she's leaving out there for her audience.
Each of these two artists are at the very top of the heap in their genre; individually they are each absolutely fire. But together they're out of this world; magical!
Joe does a Blues cruise out of Florida every spring, and we just got back from our third trip. He’s amazing. And there are probably 30 artists on board. Music 16 hours a day, from acoustic sets in the morning to huge performances on the pool deck at night. Joe has a nonprofit that supports music in schools all over the country. He’s just a cool human being.
I got to meet him when I donated on one of his PBS specials, and then won meet and greet tickets. He definitely was just a regular guy. Then he put on a one hour solo using 12 different guitars, followed by an hour and a half of the full band.
Beth and Joe are the BEST . Beth has so much soul and depth to her voice and so much EXPERIENCE and pain that she has had to deal with. She is an amazing human-being.
You picked a good one to react to here…Beth and Joe have collaborated on a few “soul classics” albums and this live event is a nice collection of some of those songs…as you go further down this rabbit hole you’ll discover that Joe has a great voice, too, and Beth is an accomplished musician in her own right…”Leave The Light On” live at London’s Royal Albert Hall will tell you everything you need to know about Beth…
This is a show where you get your money's worth with just this performance....Thx much for doing this and I looked this up "I'd Rather Go Blind" is a blues song written by Ellington Jordan and co-credited to Billy Foster and Etta James. It was first recorded by Etta James in 1967
Good call Ginger.... Red dude managed to pause or talk over some of the more interesting parts of the song! Call and response is the term you were searching for. Great reaction guys.
I've been watching your reactions and just subbed the other day and scrolled through some of them but hadn't seen you react to my Absolute Favorite Female Vocalist in the whole wide world....The one and only BETH HART and the beast Joe Bonamassa . Im fixing to crank this one up and you should check her out a lot more because she's absolutely unbelievable . And Joe Bonamassa has been shredding ever since he was a very very little boy and was opening for BB King when he was 12 years old and when you start dabbling into his shredding you'll get your mind blown just like you did with SRV . All around Joe's my favorite and cleanest guitarist hands down. And I just read Beths comment and everyone she runs across reacting to one of her videos she always comments and pins it and it's Beth and not someone else doing it and wouldn't surprise me if she doesn't ask you if you want tickets because she's done that quite a bit. She's just the coolest and she never forgets where she came from and you should hear her story and how she kicked drugs . She's absolutely amazing .
I hope you do what you do and throw another song in there ... if you do ... go way back. People are gonna keep pushing Joe & Beth or more Beth performing blues now, at this stage in her life, but Beth is the only living artist i put on par with Ren as someone who just commits every cell in their being to the moment when they perform... so all-in to her performances and for that you need to go way back. She also struggled with MASSIVE mental health issues and my GOD she's just so raw ... so insanely talented - literally. Am I The One - Live at Paradiso. Absolutely brain-breaking.
When Joe’s guitar starts to weep and with the Hammond in the background, I can feel the pain. And Beth is WYSIWYG, 200% raw passion and emotion. Please do yourself a huge favor and check out 'am i the one live at paradiso". I swear you won't regret it.
This was not written by Tina Turner. "I'd Rather Go Blind" is a blues song written by Ellington Jordan and co-credited to Billy Foster and Etta James. It was first recorded by Etta James in 1967.
I've listened to this one a few times and great to hear it once more. Man o man Beth has some sultry power in that awesome vibrato. Some gravel n grit with some passion. Love hearing her perform she really grasp your attention immediately and agree Pegasus on the nice to see a woman be a real woman in her vulnerability. She evokes that raw and real. Fabulous song and not to forget that solo by Joe oh my my sings with the strings fo sho.👏this was a great one . Enjoy you fellas✌️😎
Thank you for this video that I am familiar with. I now can't help but listen and see Beth and her musicians every day! She is truly the best there is these days. You have to know her life to understand and love her even beyond music.! With great love from Italy, from Rome!!!!
First time I heard Beth Hart was a piano solo she did of her song "Leave The Light On" Live 20 Yrs ago & I was torn up! Spoke to my very soul & been a fan ever since. You need to listen, you'll know that song is her personal biography. Intense!
WOW! Whats so cool 2me is that I cudnt help letting out a howl hearing his guitar singing to my SOUL! THAT'S what ONLY a STRATOCASTER guitar can do for me! I can be in another room listening to music (or half listening) but then if a Strat guitar hits the airwaves I KNOW IT!! It cuts thru EVERYTHING for me. Joe is 1of the Strat Cats for sure. We have/had Mark Knophler (Dire Straights) David Guilmore (Pink Floyd) n of course..... the 1 and only goat, the legend SRV.......damn. Ya know it STILL HURTS n brings the tears i hv rite now that he's gone. When I hear music like this (which I love) I feel empty inside n nvr understood why? I thot cuz its "the blues" rite? But I just now understand why. Its bcuz of him. RIP SRV
Love this reaction. It's nice to see men appreciating femininity and sultriness as opposed to overly provocative and strong. I think it's definitely a generational thing, crazy that people are so opposed to being old school as they think it's derogatory. It's okay to just be womanly or manly on your own terms. Big love 🌺
Only 652 likes, wow Joe and Beth on their own are high up the list of current blues players, together they are even better This is a classic cover Another excellent blues tune Chris Stapleton Tennessee whiskey
I am going to need the Beth Hart Am I The One Live at Paradiso from you guys! It is one the best unique live performances and I need yall commentary on it!!
Both Beth and Joe are top tier in their genres . Beth has won best blues singer at least twice. She began singing around 16 years old. Joe has been playing since he was 12 years old and was trained by BB King. Together these two are just magnificent ❤ And just a general rule, never pause during a guitar solo....
That's why Jimi Hendrix was so legendary. He was always singing with his guitar. I always love watching musicians lose themselves in the music. It's just so pure.
So soulful! I’m glad I caught this one in time, all about subscribe, like comment to keep all this awesome in our ears!😁 thank you guys for bringing us great music and reactions once again!
I had the privilege of seeing Joe Bonamassa live. He is definitely in the top five greatest guitarists of all time and I've seen SRV, Eric Clapton, Robert Cray, Kenny Wayne Shepherd etc.
This is one of Eta James songs from the 60s. Beth did an awesome job on it. Joe has a band himself he does a lot of blues music. Check out his song ( I'll Sing The Blues For You. Here's a new artist for you Tommy Johansson. He's the lead guitarist for Sabaton but when COVID hit he started doing cover songs and posting them on Utube. Check out Tommy Johansson cover of Black Sabbath ( Headless Cross) and his cover of Gary Moore's ( Empty Room) On Empty Room don't do the solo version cause he don't sing in that video. You won't be disappointed. He's done covers of Queen,,Steelheart,,,Heart any many more. But if you want to see how high his voice can be then listen to him sing ( You Raise Me Up ) one octave challenge. He will really blow your mind He plays all the instruments lead guitar, base guitar,, organ,, drums One at a time then mixes all together and sings to it. He's so talented.
Next Beth and Joe you need to listen to is from the same concert. Check out Come Close To My Fire, also Chocolate Jesus Serious feminine power on display. Brilliant songs I also find it interesting that no one comments that Tom Waits is on stage with Beth and Joe. Epic
A little history boys,?..joe was openung for BB King at 12..actuuspall started playing in bars years before, owns over 100 guitars..some noted.,. Played with eric c l apton in London at Royal hall...he lives ,breaths etc with guitars...would have loved to go to a concert of his, always thought i would after taking care of parents, grandchildren and trying to recover fr I m a bunch of stress relaited physical aliments but now i just play recordings over and over...usually cryingg ( since first saw him on local Utica TV, AÑD THEN THERE IS BETH,,sings the songs that i sang in the middle of the night trying to release the pain...
no not Tina Turner. "I'd Rather Go Blind" is a blues song written by Ellington Jordan and co-credited to Billy Foster and Etta James. Etta James the original song singer ,,, you should check her out !!! Also Joe does it all , plays , sings , produces and records . Plus a child prodigy with the guitar and he also has an amazing voice . A deep rabbit hole , but worth the trip !!
Great vid fellas! Wow, y'all are really gettin thrown into the deep end with some of these requests, love it. The Best cover of this is done by KoKo Taylor, she made it hers. You should check out some of KoKo's catalog.

Speaking of Tina Turner, You oughta listen to Nutbush City Limits, it's Awesome! You'll be in Hawg Heven with the Nutz & Bush jokes. Just Kiddin! Great Video!
If you want to see a guitar sing react to Pink Floyd Comfortably Numb, Sorrow, Shine on you crazy diamond, Money, Time, Dogs and many others. He is a guitar God! Great reaction.
you guys lost me before halfway through because of your disrespect. And your disrespect led to your loss - you missed or failed to savor artistic heights by making the reaction about you rather than the music.
Thank you! ❤🙏🏽
You’re Amazing ❤️
Been Beth’s fan for almost a decade, bought all her musics, and last year i saw her in DC live, amazing talent, big heart, old soul. You are an amazing artist! Love from Portugal ❤❤❤❤
No, thank YOU!

I can't believe you talked right through one of the best parts of Beth's vocals:( and then did it again during Joe's solo:( Just think how good you would have thought they were if you listen to them.:)
It only indicates the level of understanding that these two disgraces achieved.
I totally agree with you.
I love how many cuts you finally achieve: screw up the vocal build up, then the guitar solo; well done, Pegasus.
This was hard to watch... If it were a REN reaction, he'd be showing the respect that Beth deserves, and not ignoring what she's leaving out there for her audience.
Dudes….you don’t pause a Joe Bonamassa solo….you just don’t 💪🎸
You absolutely don't! The height of disrespect.
They don't know or understand this.
Young and won't learn.
They like hearing themselves talk.
its ok.in a few month,no one remembers these 2 guys anymore..
@@charlesawker9774😂
These idiots don't care
Each of these two artists are at the very top of the heap in their genre; individually they are each absolutely fire. But together they're out of this world; magical!
You guys missed the best part because you guys were laughing.
These immature idiots couldn't care less
Beth Hart - Am I The One Live At Paradiso...........just wow. The best live performance ever !!!!!
These wankerswill never hear it. Too self absorbed with 1 genre. Too even try
She is one of the best female singers ever. She kills everything.
I think if you knew how legendary this song was, you'd have given it more respect.
These idiots don't care
2 of my all-time favorite artists. This is the type of music that needs to go mainstream.
Great reaction guys. This song was written by Etta James and Billy Foster and first performed by Etta James IN 1967.

You stopped that solo to talk about someone else. DAMN............
It is criminal how many people have never been exposed to Beth Hart.
😁

Beyonce does a decent version as Etta James in the movie Cadillac Records too.
You guys have to check out 2 other songs "Caught out in the rain" Live At the Royal Albert Hall & "Am I The One" Live @ Paradiso! Enjoy!
Good call Ginger.... Red dude managed to pause or talk over some of the more interesting parts of the song!

Joe B is a top 5 guitarist alive today. Perhaps top 10 all time.
For a complete new experience of a live show you should react to Bet Hart live in Paradiso (Amsterdam) with AM I The One

It's not a Tina Turner song. The original is by Etta James.
Joe started playing at 10 or 11. Gifted and was recognised for it by US blues greats early in career…amazing
Nice love the open mindness that you gents have
2nd guitarist is Blondie Chaplin from South Africa. Did vocals on a Beach Boys album.
This is one of Eta James songs from the 60s. Beth did an awesome job on it. Joe has a band himself he does a lot of blues music. Check out his song ( I'll Sing The Blues For You.

Next Beth and Joe you need to listen to is from the same concert. Check out Come Close To My Fire, also Chocolate Jesus
Serious feminine power on display. Brilliant songs
I also find it interesting that no one comments that Tom Waits is on stage with Beth and Joe. Epic
Sorry Etta.... This is the best version ❤mages me cry every time! And I listen to this a lot.
This song needs to be listened to without the interruptions.... just saying.
And theirs are constant. I don't mind some talking, but this song is epic. Beth is epic, respect.

At Joe was playing with BB King.
She is a Chain Smoker and the Voice is Unique for that reason.
Love this song, and your reaction to it! But it was originally and Etta James song, not Tina Turner (though she may have covered it).
Beth and Joe, seem to inspire each other.
Fire. Absolute fire!
That was crazy.
This is dynamite! She gives me those bluesy Janis Joplin vibes! Love these guys ❤you guys are pretty cool too ❤
😁👍
no not Tina Turner.
"I'd Rather Go Blind" is a blues song written by Ellington Jordan and co-credited to Billy Foster and Etta James. It was first recorded by Etta James in 1967, released in 1967, and has subsequently become regarded as a blues and soul classic.
Great reaction Boyz!
Check out more of Joe Bonamassa. At age of 12 he was allready playing with B.B. King.
Your comment about him singing through the guitar echos what I always say about this song. I refer to it as a duet.
Beth Queen. ❤️🌷🤟
Y’all talk and play too much
Beautiful performance. Pls if any, once you must see "Am I the one" in Paradiso Amsterdam, , its beyond the words.
Etta James the original song singer ,,, you should check her out !!! Also Joe does it all , plays , sings , produces and records . Plus a child prodigy with the guitar and he also has an amazing voice . A deep rabbit hole , but worth the trip !!
Joe was playing on stage with BB King when he was 12. Beth is an absolute Force of Nature. I’m an over aged FanBoy.
My favorite!
You don't have to apologize for Saying what we all know about Beth ,she oozes sexuality even when she's not trying to😅
If I saw this live I would flat out pass out!
Great vid fellas! Wow, y'all are really gettin thrown into the deep end with some of these requests, love it. The Best cover of this is done by KoKo Taylor, she made it hers. You should check out some of KoKo's catalog.
Oh you definitely need to check out Am I The One live by Beth. So sensual
❤❤❤
Loved this. If you guys are getting into guitar solos have you tried comfortably numb Pink Floyd the live pule concert?
Dude, you guys should check out the Whiter Shade of Pale performance that’s done live in Denmark with an entire orchestra in 2006!! 🔥🔥🔥
After Joe's guitar solo look over Beth's right shoulder at Joe, notice his head bow to the drummer--he knows how good the solo was--lol
Rod Stewart did a cover of this song which received the blessing of Etta James.
Take your own advice and don't stop in the middle of verses and guitar solos
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Too many interruptions for an incredible voice.

you guys lost me before halfway through because of your disrespect. And your disrespect led to your loss - you missed or failed to savor artistic heights by making the reaction about you rather than the music.
