Hi Rusty, its been one of those tools I've always wanted but never got around to making one. All sorted now and I'm pleased with the final result.

Cam I realise you are already on your way with building this Fly Cutter but have you looked at the Suburban tool fly cutter ?.
I am going to make one based on their design. I already have the LPR 100mm fly cutter but wasn't totally happy with it when fly cutting 160mm wide aluminium cylinder head.

Hi Steran50, yep I have seen those units and they look very nice. Maybe something I could look at making in the future especially for machining the larger plate sizes. Doesn't look like it would be a big job.
