I'd write an elaborate description on how amazing this Sonic Mania mod is, but it'd be redundant at this point.
What I will at is that it's a cool attempt at modernizing the classic Sonic gameplay formula, with level design specifically designed around every characters abilities, those being Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Mighty and Shadow, each with their own unique flair.

At this point, Mania and Generations are just game engines. Adventure/2 is slowly getting there as well. Just waiting for the day we get full overhaul romhacks for Adventure games and Generations.

That’s some cool attention-to-detail with each character having their own jingles for power ups and clearing an act. Also cool that characters’ have multiple moves that seem to add to the gameplay experience and don’t seem to feel “tacked on” (haven’t played so I don’t want to assume).
I also wonder if those statues are referencing Altered Beast @ 10:45?
They are. The sprites came straight from the game itself.
This is fantastic. Practically a sequel of its own.
I'm surprised this game still doesn't have custom bosses.
That's the hardest thing to make, unless it's just the same boss with random obstacles and enemies and added
Yea make custom bosses Is nota Easy because i know retro engine Is cool but make a mod that needs from Sonic manía to work Will eventually add some limitations thats why team manía Will port all the progress done si far to a new engine to become Sonic Megamix manía from a mod to a fan game

Hoped they kept the encore mode, would have loved the new Misty Maze with a lava theme, but still the best Sonic Mania mod.
Can anyone help me on how to install this. I've downloaded the file, what do I do next? I am dying to play this!
If *Sonic Megamix* [ Saturn ] (1990s)
Mechanics are great, but this game need more work on level pallets, right now it looks like each level uses 5 colors with different brightness shades, make it more interesting. For example trees can use bluish green for leaf edges, then normal green and then yellowish green for centers, sky can use real gradients instead of Genesis like, level with Volcano Valley music asks for bricks changing it's palletes (similar to Lava Reef from Sonic 3) to go with melody temp, and Starry Night need some night sky with stars fading and shining (similar to slow garland mode) in background
They erase the Boost for Shadow, i'm sad, it was te best boost gimmic, so balanced; anywone, can edit the Shadowmegamix.dll from 0.9 to give him the boost again of the old demo?
Do you use geforce experience for your videos, or no? Asking, because I have some problems with it.
Yes, Nvidia Shadowplay to be exact. What problem you got?
@@MariusUrucu Geforce stops my recording at random moments, I mean it still saves, but making videos like this is gonna be really hard, idk if this is because of ingame autosave, or something, also some clips are laggy and the audio seems messed up, like it has a delay, or something.
@@KLUCZESIAI guess it depends on the GPU and if you also have enabled Desktop recording.
I also get the audio delayed on some recordings when editing in Sony Vegas, but I just resync the audio the the video footage back when before rendering the video.
@@MariusUrucu I don't use Sony Vegas, so maybe lowering the bitrate might help the lag. These audio delays are unfixable for me right now, might have to restart Sonic Frontiers completely from beginning, because of this, because I don't know how to fix this at all, when I'm using VSDC to edit videos.
Gpu is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB and Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8400 CPU @ 2.80Hz. I know it's old, but I don't know what would work best to replace this in my pc right now.

You can also try alternative recording options, including Windows Recorder on Windows 10
Please give sonic and shadow the drop dash. It’s so hard playing 2d sonic games without the drop dash since mania. Still looks great though.

I think steeth will be proub to se the rom hack he worked over a decade ago is now remade with a new and excuisit píxel art made as base from the original Megamix stages seen last time in versión 5.0 and new mecanics and the move sets from the original definitly the best sucesor for the legacy from Sonic Megamix

@@MariusUrucu Sorry. It's just that with the bs they pulled, it's odd for someone to watch them. Anyway, as for the video, it's weird that they put in Modern Sonic stuff in a Classic Sonic game.
