Bikes running pretty lean, I can tell by the backfiring. I’d start by watching a few videos about carby tuning and try get the spark plug a nice golden colour. You’ll get a lot more life out of it
Good stuff man, great to see you making regular content again. Also wanted to say ups to the misso(?) on the camera. When you were riding the camerawork was outstanding. Starting zoomed in, perfect framing and following etc.. Really good, keep it up!
Yooo you're killing it on the pitty. I love how custom your going with the bike too. It would be really cool to see you on some sort of supercross bike at some stage. Keep the great content coming dude
I've got the Pitster Pro MXR 155, so essentially the same bike. I ended up throwing away the trash carb it came with and got a genuine Mikuni VM24-512 carb for it. For my elevation 5k feet, I had to re-jet it from the stock Pilot 40 main 210, to a 20 pilot and 180 main. That made a HUGEEEEE difference. I'm sure your jets are off.
That engine sounds like its got a really good torque curve number, and the way you make an engine fast that has a lot of torque is to give it a high geared final drive ratio, that is what in a sence converts torque into horsepower.
been subbed to you for ages but completely forgot about ur vids cus not been on youtube much, nice to see your still at it cus youre a cool guy hope to see you upload more ur vids are great💯
your welds are decent man, tig welding isn't easy, just needs to be sealed haha, and its way cooler that its something you made even if the welds arent picture perfect
Nice one mate, i swapped my pitpro 125 to a zongshen 160 a couple years back. it's definitely running lean, go a bit up on the fuel and see how it reacts, those motors do hammer when they're running good. I must say i went through about 4 back wheels over a couple months of hard riding, the spokes seem to give out on those chinese rims quite quick. Nice video keen to see more 👍🏽
Use a rubber coupler on the intake next time. That with two strong hose clamps and you probably didn’t have to try to weld that aluminum pipe with your steel wire 😂
Dope Bro i have a Apollo Rfz 20 max the adult size and im currently trying to make it faster n 😂 my only option its going to 190cc and a better carburetor
Did you do anything to the front forks? Mine is a bit squishy. Wanted to stiffen it up without spending 600.00 on insanely expensive brand name forks. I’ve heard about the heavier oil and spacer thing. Is that worth it?
Yo greg, your welds may be turning out grey and raised because you’re using too much heat and making up for it with filler. try turning the heat down and only using filler when needed 👍🏼 hope this helps a little
Hey what’s up Greg! If you are having any issues with jetting or air fuel whatsoever…you should refer to stock and then play around and see what the bike likes… obviously when you add a pipe stock jetting is no longer sufficient as there is a lot more air being pushed through your motor. I have a klx 110 and I got a pipe and the thing would spit flames like yours. Also you mentioned your intake port, if there is not a perfect seal on the intake manifold after the carb, then your motor will run extremely lean due to too much air. Now also with pit bikes since me and all of my friends like to bang these little things off rev limiter all day like yourself, you should probably run a fuel additive just to keep things a little more foolproof in terms of catastrophic failure. Lucas makes an oil fuel treatment that helped me out a lot. Blew 2 top ends before I started using the fuel additive and now I have about 140 hours on a Cammed 110cc with a Bbr rev box and some other bolt ons…They smell a little bit like burning oil but they are a lot more reliable. Anyways Cheers bro, been following your channel for a long time. If you have any questions feel free to message me.
Thank you bro for this information! I haven’t really played around with anything on the carby I think I should move the clip on the needle to give it a bit more fuel now that it has a pipe on it. I’m definitely going to get some of that fuel additive a try! Thanks again
Need more pitty content, I'm planning on getting some content up here soon. I'm planning on 140 swapping a Pw80 style pitbike 😏. Chuck me a sub and turn notifs on if you wanna see the build actually happen 🥹

noice i learning on the way while watching
I’d pay large sums of money to have an Austrian pit bike excursion
Shoulda got a yoshi slip-on or even a replica from amazon since you were built your own exhaust, it would have looked sicker

Hi man! Good video. Still learning how to work on my bikes. What were you doing on 11:16 and why? I would appreciate any explantation!
Epic Bro!!
Thanks 💯
Wire wheel the weld joints that will clean it up a treat
I’ll have to do that mate cheers
Dope Bro i have a Apollo Rfz 20 max the adult size and im currently trying to make it faster n 😂 my only option its going to 190cc and a better carburetor
What you can do is flared out the tip of the new pipe then it should fit snug inside the exhaust
Bro save your coin and buy a good dirt bike take your time you will pick up a good one cheap enough just keep lookin. Love the vids keep it up
That's the plan mate 👍
