- I brought my American wife to McDonald's in Malaysia for the first time and ordered everything from the menu!

Rachel... Would you agree with me that the uniqueness of Malaysian McDonald's and also those of South East Asian McDonald's is the fact that CHILLI SAUCE is available to go with our meals? 😅 This is something we Malaysians take for granted until we visit McDonald's in Europe, Australia, NZ, North America and South America 🤭 AND IT'S FREE TOO 👍
damn i feel you, i used to study in UK and one thing frustrated me a lot is they only have Tomato, and you have to pay for chili, and they gave Thai sweet chili !!

These McDonald's only offered Tomato Sauce (commonly known as KETCHUP) and Chilli Sauce, where offered, is nominally charged... Only then do we realise how very fortunate & convenient we are in Malaysia and most South East Asian countries to have McDonald's offering Chilli sauce (and mostly free of charge too) 🏆 🥰 🥇

The most important part of McD Malaysia is the chili sauce. We Malaysian really love our chili sauce and McD has one of the best chili sauce in Malaysia. U should eat all the food with McD chili sauce and your mind will be blown.

The GCB burger is actually one of the better items in the Mcd Menu and only available in Malaysia.. Too bad you don't get the Prosperity burger and Foldover as those are only available in festive seasons. The Spicy Chicken Mcdeluxe is probably the best burger in Mcds ... Imagine Ramly burger stalls are actually making their own version of it and add them in their menu shows how popular it really is. Probably also Zinger inspired .
This is why I can't wait for the next Ramadan... I would like to break my fast with the chicken foldover!
I’m totally agreed with you…. I love GCB & Spicy Chicken McDeluxe as well ……. A few years back when I found out that GCB will be in their menu forever… I’m so so happy 🥰
My all time feveret in the entire McDonalds menu is always been Prosperity Beef Burger..One of the reason I always wish CNY come faster.
The worst burger for me is the Prosperity Fish..Big Mac is a close second behind Prosperity Beef..

My top personal favorite for burgers was Quarter Pounder,Big Mac,Chicken/Beef Foldover (Ramadan special) The GCB,Prosperity Burger (CNY special),Fillet O Fish,Spicy Chicken McDeluxe,Samurai Burger & The SGB.Writing this and I'm salivating right now 😋😋

I had fish burger yesterday, I was telling my wife the burger has shrunk…prob with all these restaurants is that they reduce size to maintain the price however we have to end up buying 2 and we end up paying even more
For any Nasi Lemak, sambal is the key so for 'Mekdi' Nasi Lemak I can give 3/5, although when included the Ayam Goreng Spicy, I can give it 4/5, because AGS is definitely 1 of the main star for Mekdi, the Ayam Goreng Regular not so much. As for burger, I usually go for Spicy Beef Deluxe With Cheese and Spicy Chicken McDeluxe. For seasonal / festive menu, recommend to try Prosperity Burger and Foldover. And yes, the Sos Cili, very important to go alongwith. Thanks again Kumaar, Rachel & family for another great video. 😀
Believe it or not, bubur ayam mcd is my comfort food when I'm sick. It's easily accessible and it's good!
Missing Prosperity Burger (only available around Chinese New Year). My favourite McD burger and so far, it is the best oblong burger I've ever had, though there's less of that yummy blackpepper sauce now.
As for me, I'm rooting for the chicken foldover next Ramadan...

For those beef lover, should also consider trying the triple cheese burger and the quarter pounder. For me, they are way better than the Big Mac. However, in recent years, there's a lot more other burger joints in Malaysia that serve better burgers (bigger in size/portion and tastier with comparable price) than McD. But, since McD has more outlets and familiar to many people (especially kids), it still enjoy the lion share of the burger clientele.

Used to love dipping fries into ice cream during childhood but now as a grown up being health conscious, not fond of it anymore. Also GCB is my favourite as I prefer juicy texture of the meat unlike patty.
I thought I'm the only one who is against dipping fries into ice cream? Well, I prefer mixing fries with burgers because they enhance the taste of the burgers!
My new favourite is the Spicy beef mcdeluxe. I have no idea what is in the sauce but it is amazing. Ive been a long fan of the bigmac with its tangy sauce and double cheeseburger but the spicy mcdeluxe takes the crown now.

same kind of bread is use on prosperity burger , outside our famous burger gerai tepi jalan, this bread call roti Oblong😁 told by the burger chef👍
GCB is really good but my all-time favourite is Prosperity Burger but its only available by end of every year (before CNY). Have fun guys!
Errr... CNY is usually between late January and middle of February...
@@madkhaliqfarhan Hmm yes, but if CNY falls on late January of that year, the campaign will start as early as after Christmas the year before if Im not mistaken. Correct me if Im wrong.

Logesh, McD nasi lemak really? 😂 and yes, they’ve shrunk their staple burgers to upsell their newer stuff. Personally, I think there’s better burgers at their price range these days.
My favorites are double cheeseburger, GCB and Prosperity Burger. ONCE McNuggets, McChicken and Filet o fish are also favorites of mine (the taste is just not the same, and i don't know why McNuggets taste stale now) same with the porridge. Didn't have the chance to taste the Kam Heong Burgers but I did have a go at the Butter Chicken burger (the taste is just OK, if only they make the sauce thicker and creamier)
Love how Zaden corrected Logesh/Rachel.."Im an American & Malaysian"..
I also notice how Kayren is really a mama boy.Its so cute.While Zaden seem to be really close to both of her Nana.Always seem him with Logesh mum while travelling together..While he mention Rachel mum few time despite her not being in d video(Its ok, I respect her privacy should she wish not to be in the videos)..

Zaden would be both Malaysian and American but since Malaysia don't allow dual citizenships, Zaden has to remain an American...
@@madkhaliqfarhan If im not mistaken.USA citizenship is on Jus Soli basis..U born there - auto citizenship.The same does not apply to Malaysia.
In Zaden case, he can actually have dual citizenship until his 18th birthday ( or is it 21)
If he opt for Malaysian citizenship - he need to renounce his US citizenship by then..Its still too early to decide.Just let fate naturally decide that..Just let the kiddo enjoy his life being both Malaysian & American for now.
Whatever he decide - Malaysia & USA will always be part of him.Not any document/card can ever change that.
@@DonDon-iz8zc Zaden is indeed born in the US, so that makes him a US citizen by default but still, you're right! He can choose to keep or revoke his US citizenship once he turns 18 or maybe 21 years old soon but it's best that he keeps his US citizenship, so he can run for US presidency, therefore making him the first US president of Malaysian descent if he wins...
Can see that rachel and you like nasi lemak. Should try the nasi lemak from kaw kaw chain....they have the best and most unique sambal. The best.
I will go to McD to get a sundae cone and fries just so to eat it that way - the salty sweetness is just 👍for me *chef's kiss

I actually have stopped taking McD for a long time unless I have no where else to get / getting the classic Fillet O Fish.
The patty are just not as good as during the 90s when they first came storming in Malaysia.
The mc Flurry is too sweet as well in recent years. I have mentioned to them before that they put too much sugar and it is less creamy. I used to dip the fries and the Sundae cone (without the chocolate) as a snack in between study breaks.
The soft serve concoction used to be creamier.
Kind of sad where McD's classic has degraded; but the Samurai burger and the used to be fold over are great. Man.... why they took away the really good recipes? (maybe cut cost?)

McDonald's Malaysia food n drink taste different compare with US McDonald's. The US drink size is really large.
At the end of the day, nothing beats ramly burger.. Lol

As for McD, my favourite will be Prosperity Burger. Most Malaysians would agree that this burger has a really huge fans, since it is only available during festive season (Chinese New Year). My second favourite would be the Spicy Chicken McDeluxe. Also sharing the second place is Spicy McCrispy Chicken. I did try Kam Heong one, but I don't like it. Also I am not really a fan of McD porridge due to strong smell. As for pies, I like chocolate caramel.
There are 2 other festive specials: Foldovers (Ramadan) and Burger Syok (sports season)

Well, Logesh has the same feeling while living in the US, but he still managed to adapt to it nevertheless!

@@madkhaliqfarhan Two issues about them bothers me. First, after eating all that fatty food, they have to put on weight. But they are slim. Second, Never seen them working for living. But they are well to do.

In the US McDonald's we can have veggie burgers for a mixed group of family, friends and colleagues . Not in M'sia such as in Mid Valley so it doesn't speak much of catering to diversity in consumer trends or respect for a diverse country like Malaysia . It's also a millennial change driver globally. Not very progressive here sorry. I'm M'sian btw.
Because malaysia have it own diversity burger, ramly, go to each stall, it differ, according to the taste palate of that stall locals
@@mohammadnoor9697 that's not the point it was about Macdonalds. Any way is Ramli healthy? Beef/meat based, too greasy for family and children? Is it banned in Singapore? There is no standard like McDonald's has. That's why we have brands and brand expectations. This is normal . I'm M'sian btw.

@@madkhaliqfarhan I think the point of fast food chains responding to Inclusion and diversity is lost here. M'sia is as diverse and cosmopolitan as the US. In my family, colleagues and friends' networks we have meat eaters vegetarians and vegans . We like to be together too . The point was McDonald's in the US does provide veggie patties. M'sia is supposedly diverse and inclusive too. Its about progressive marketing .

actually peanuts doesn't taste good with nasi lemak. Yeah because the taste n smell makes me dizzy 🤣. I prefer anchovies in it.
But for me, I prefer neither! I mean, my nasi lemak should only consist of coconut milk rice, sambal, egg and fried chicken!
Maybe like in usa you have to ask for the peanuts as peanut allergy is very comman
