Ancient Chinese records complain about constant defeat by the Mongols. The Chinese soldiers were eating rice and soy, the Mongols were eating meat and yogurt. There was a big discussion on both sides about the impact of a soldier's diet. Then in more recent history is the Suiyang incident where Chinese soldiers ATE 30000 citizens in order to maintain health. Maybe they took it too far, but I still believe the meat and dairy diet is healthiest.

Now Kellogg s sells their “family “ size box of cereal for almost 5.00 a box. The box is 1/3 larger (top third of box is empty space as it’s a taller box) and contains 12 ounces. We need to revolt. The kellogs guy doesn’t eat cereal. Are you kidding me?!? Cereal is a snack for when you’re high as hell. Not anything to eat when you’re hungry and definitely not to feed to your kids for nutrition. You should eat cereal like ice cream or something. Once in a while, as a little cheat. Nothing to sustain yourself. It’s like airheads.

Because fruits contain more of it that we need. Ice age and desertification of Africa led to our species including cereals in their diet as a *substitute* for fruits and meat as *supplementary*. Nothing wrong with cereal based diet. If it's actually *grains* we're talking about, and not that BS that's being sold under that name.

This is hilarious. Cereal would be the least economical feeding my three teenage boys for supper. I literally don't buy cereal because it's so expensive and they could eat the entire box in one sitting, on top of the fact that its horrible for your body. Homegrown meat, potatoes and veg for the win!

For me it was cereal just like Clayton said with all that sugar mixed with milk at the bottom. Delicious. But ten minutes after I got to school I'd have some kid in a headlock. Not a Pop Tart. Then they put me on Ritalin...

People think my husband and I are crazy because we spend about $1k/month on groceries and supplements. We have cut out almost all seed oils, most added sugar, eat only grass fed/pasture raised/organic meat and dairy (depends on the cost), and take supplements like vitamin D, magnesium, and fish oil. We eat very well compared to the people who think our spending is crazy.

Yeah, things can't have antibiotics 6 months before butchering.
Growth hormones aren't a thing because they are wildly inefficient compared to the base results of decades of selective breeding.

It was the amount of inflammation I had that drove me to finding a better way of living. Started the carnivor diet Nov 23. Dropped 37 lbs and got my blood pressure down to 122/84 in 5 short months. Carnivore is not a diet but the proper nutrition for all humans and dogs!!
