I grew up in Berkeley, at 5:15 you were 2 blocks from there. You need more and better locks. Also, put a tile or apple tag in it.
I had 11 bikes stolen from me while I lived there. From the time before cordless tools, twice people used grinders with an inverter and car battery to defeat my locks. I had an e-bike with lead acid batteries (170 pounds, 13hp) that I caught people in the act attempting to steal twice. Once they were unable to throw it in the back of a pickup, the other time the thief had ramps, but I got my neighbors to come out and they abandoned the theft.

That usually happens with the throttle on my ebike (72v stealth) if the wires for the throttle at the connector get moisture in them. Took a 15mi ride from HB to Balboa and had to pedal all the way home cause it did that.

To have a trailer for the bikes would be more convenient just to secure them down, than the time to assemble or disassemble them 4 xtra room in car.
I put my HONDA XR400R on trailer and each pedal bike on both sides.

About the food thing you could buy its called an aero an,indoor garden to grow your own veggies then u could try to make your own plant based meals..another idea you and your buddies try a barter deal with food companies maybe trade a few bikes for groceries or you could buy a piece of land and grow your own veggies and 🌿 herbs...

hey surronster and community, im currently trying to get my first ebike for local forest/field riding. Im tired of the huge amount of time it takes me to get to tracks and to just maintance my rmz 250, not mentioning engine rebuilds etc. At the moment these 2 deals are avaiable: surron offroad version (no x-controller) driven for 3500km (2200 miles) looks kinda "hard-used" for 2650€ (3200$) and on the other side a kuberg freerider 6 months old for 3600€ (4400$). Which is the better option? I dont think i would upgrade the surron like surronster, so whats the better stock bike, also considering the price diffrence.
