- WOW! Can you tell how nervous I was filming this? This is the first video we shot at the New York Auto Show (and the last to make its debut for that reason). Nonetheless, meet the refreshed Santa Cruz! This vehicle is designed for wherever adventure will take you! Interesting choice, they redesigned the Tucson front end daytime running lights to look more like the outgoing Santa Cruz, and the Santa Cruz running lights to look more like the outgoing Tucson.
Was not a fan, but it's growing on me. Very practical vehicle

I like how they used a lot of the identity from the 2024 Santa Fe, even though I like the Santa Fe design more. Which is good because I just bought one

@@SynsterFear I liked the older Santa Fe with chrome accents, the new Santa Fe looks cheap to me.
Great interior, and the color looks so good. The only issue I have with this truck is that the bed is much too small. I’ve seen the older models and unless you hate doing projects around the house, then it’s not for you.
They need to get rid of the dual clutch transmission and this would be a great vehicle. Way too many issues with that transmission

Ive always liked the maverick but this year i think the santa cruz with its regular shifter and better interior is better. I will wait until they bring a hybrid then ill buy one

Ill be interested if Hyundai brings the Blaze Orange to Canada. They didnt bring the Silver Matte in the Sonata to Canada either sadly.

Cool trucks gets worthwhile upgrades. This vehicle should have been the first one in the HMC range to get the extreme treatment not the urban based Santa Fe.
Dual clutch is a repeated failure and you can have the turbo as well. Go with the regularly aspirated engine and the 8 speed converter. The price is still not justifiable though. This should be a 30k car at the highest.

Ah the Dual clutch makes its return, it'll be in the shop more then on the road as that transmission grenades itself every few years.
Thank goodness Hyundai changed the grill, the previous design used to look like a decoration art piece something you’d have in your living room⚠️

Gotta be honest on this one. That is one ugly vehicle imo sorry!! But i can kinda see the appeal.
It’s not for everyone, and that’s okay!
So... Plain on the inside. It says bold and more on the outside, but no personality or character on the inside 😔
I think I like the interior a bit more - especially the inclusion of real dials and switches - but it’s not for everyone and that’s okay!
@@BrantfordKia I love the dials being there, the dash display feels.. cold? But it also doesn't stand out with most vehicles and the console sticking out for passersby to see.
@@BrantfordKia I would love to upgrade my 2017 Tucson from Kingscross Hyundai but I am so scared to mess with the console 🤔🙄
