I really like this vehicle. I took one out for a drive and was impressed. If they dropped a 4 speed stick shift in it, I would have one in my garage now.
I think another subtle difference that no one seems to point out is that the window lock on the driver's side looks like it now has an LED light to show when it's locked. This is a welcome addition to me because the 2024 model did not have this. It looks like they corrected everything that needs to be upgraded except, in my opinion, they really need a power sliding rear window because if you want to open and close it, you need to stop the vehicle and get in the back seat to do it.
Hey man, love your videos. Just wondering if I were to buy a limited 2025 Santa Cruz if I could get the same tires that are on the XRT 18 inch rim and just buy them for the limited 20 rim if they would fit and work?
Thank you! Yes, it should be a direct swap between the two models as the overall diameter is extremely close. The brakes don't change so the 18" should fit across every trim.
Thanks for another great review and keeping it simple. In complete agreement the rear center armrest is a much needed addition. Hopefully it’s standard on more than just the Limited. The front end modifications definitely adds a more muscular look. Nice job Hyundai.
Great review. Nice improvements for 2025. This is a much better option than the Ford Maverick overall. The only advantage the Maverick has is a Hybrid option. The Canyon Red exterior color on the XRT trim looks awesome!! I hope it’s available on the Limited trim as well!
Great looking vehicle and review, but for the price I would go with the Ridgeline. Unfortunately, this vehicle is not made to last 200k plus with 4 cylinder turbocharged engine. Modern vehicles of Hyundai will not be seen on the road 15-20 years from now like you see the tried and true Toyotas and Hondas.
For the love of God stop calling this a pick up. It’s a glorified SUV with a truck bed. A truck is defined by a body on frame construction. This is a unibody construction, just like an SUV.
A truck or lorry is a motor vehicle designed to transport freight, carry specialized payloads, or perform other utilitarian work. Trucks vary greatly in size, power, and configuration, but the vast majority feature body-on-frame construction, with a cabin that is independent of the payload portion of the vehicle. Hence, the majority of the trucks feature body on frame, but they are not defined by it and can vary in configuration. Pat yourself on the shoulder and chill out.
Your theory: A truck is defined by having body on frame construction. With that in mind then why are these body on frame vehicles such as the 4 Runner, Expedition, Land Cruiser etc considered SUVs? Sounds like your theory was just debunked. A truck is NOT defined by a body on frame construction...It's defined by its unique ability to haul special loads.
$44,000? This is nuts.
Agreed. However fully loaded any car is typically nuts to be fair ....
Picked up a 2025 AWD Limited Santa Cruz last night... Nice truck and very helpful video, thank you...
Awesome! Congratulations! 🎉
@@CarsMadeSimple Thank You...
Good review and nice updates!! 👍

Get my Slate Blue tomorrow. Very excited!

Pre-facelift looks better from the exterior, particularly the front imo
Small changes but the front end looks MUCH better, thanks for the review
It does!
No it doesn't! Like the 2024 better! Squared it off way too much

확실히 현대 산타크루즈 소형 픽업 트럭은 생각이상으로 멋지고 좋습니다
감사합니다
Everything looks good except for the Hyundai badge, the old black chrome one was better. Price and the problems with the DCT kills that trim for me.
Black Beauty.
I would like to see the 2025 SEL activity trim
This was the first to arrive. I will likely have more content next week.
Me to. Select activity trim
The No1 car i don't neeed and totaly want .

$45k? Hyundai is nuts to ask that. No wonder why this unit doesn’t sell well
Price will come down by middle of 2025
Any Heads Up Display?
Not available unfortunately
Once this goes hybrid I’m all in
I know!
Is the camera exaggerating the glare on the screen, specifically the one behind the steering wheel? Because that's not good.
Yes, the plastic film was still on the display which is extra reflective.
44k??????? H e double hockey sticks no!
I pray the higher trim levels have no stinking SUNROOF!!! 😠
Why?
Gloss black in any vehicle is atrocious. Gloss black in a truck is an abomination.
This is not a truck. It’s a glorified SUV.
Hyundai not good, I bought one before not so good. 😢😢😢😮😮😮.
Please explain

Want some cheese with that whine?

Meh….its a truck, kiddo.

Who care what it’s called! It looks really cool!
