I have the same kit and been thinking to do the same project, I even have a Porsche that goes with that project ready to start, reason I haven’t start that build is because of the long bed, I didn’t know there was a resin kit for that, thanks for sharing my friend
There's a video on UA-cam (canni remember the guys name) who's done the same project as you want to do complete with custom porsche if I find it before you I'll leave a link its worth a watch 👌🏼👍🏼🤘🏼
Hi I’ve been a fan for a long time and I must say even from when I first started watching your channel your work has become far superior, can I ask you is there any upgrades to the Revell 1:12 Ford Mustang Shelby I’d like to change the wheels as the look dated and what’s the best way to strip the paint from the whole of the body as when I started it I hadn’t come across you. Thank you 👍🏻😉🍻💙🇬🇧
I use Castrol Super Clean to strip paint from styrene plastic, even chrome. Scratch up any clear coat so it can get under it. Leave it work 24 hrs then use scrubby pad and tooth brush or any other stiff plastic bristle brush, may take a few days but it works great.
@@TheScalemodelingChannel I've looked at their site and it's vanished, been gone for quite some time I think. If any of your viewers have one for sale I'd be very interested in buying it. Imagine a duel cab long bed!
This model is based on an actual vehicle, and, as the decals say, it has a Porsche engine doing the more than adequate motivation...remember that long box is mostly hollow. For less expensive get up and go, a later year 2000cc Vanagon would suffice unless you're thinking if carrying a vehicle on that deck, which I think the real vehicle can do.
I wonder if someone can please help? I bought hobby design Watanabe wheels that have metal rims and resin fronts - how do i joint the two? CA glue? I know this isn't the place to post this but cant seem to join a group to post a question :(
with every build i have done the past couple of years i also post a shorter version of the build series combined in one video. Why is this a problem on this series….? Pfft!
Liking the bloopers. Love the colour combination.
That moment in the end when wiper flew away is epic🤣👍
I'd seen the full video. I like a lot these Kombi (the name in Brazil). Build the Porsche they used to transport on it. Weathering. Great job.
Absolutely beautiful. You are a great builder.
Gorgeous beetle transport. Nice work 👍

That's a model vision of "Pimp My Ride"
That Mini at the end :D
I can see a matching Porsche 356 or similar going nice with this!?
The plan is a 550 spyder
So good, and a great model :)
Looks great. Is this a second build of this model?
No, this is the first
@@TheScalemodelingChannel always loved the look of the extended bed truck. Have a great weekend! 😊
@@TheScalemodelingChannel 4 months ago you posted a two-part movie about building this model.
Yes. And as with every build i have done the past couple of years i also post a shorter version of the build series combine in one video.
@@TheScalemodelingChannel cool! I thought I had seen it in the last couple of months!

I think scalemotorsport made a set.
You could also try isopropyl alcohol
Is this a Scale Kraft Mini on the truck, or a shaved Tamiya or Revell?
Shaved Tamiya
Wish I could find the dual cab conversion kit for this model
Scaleproduction used to have one

😍Very nice build
Nice work
In theory what engine would move such a vehicle? Stock engine was barely enough for a normal van.
How about a Porsche MA1, either 3.8l or 4.0l, that thing would scoooooot

I think it need a hook to secure the car to the bed.
Mantap bos ku slam sukses selalu ya hadir menyimak bos ku semangat trus
Haven't we seen this already? 🤔
yes, this is just a shortened video of the series with separate episodes.
Those fails at the end are things that i do all the time sometimes i evan break the model because of it :/
Dachshund Style
Deja vu
👍🏻
Como se agranda la caja eso no mostraste de eso se trataba el video de ver como se agradaba y no lo mostrastes

I've got to be honest. I live what you do, but all of the Lamborghini stickers and stuff just ruined this one for me
There are no Lamborghini stickers to be found here. Porsche ;)
