The older I get the more I realize the value of being ready for opportunities. Lots of people get opportunities and fumble the ball because they don’t get serious about life until the opportunity arrives.
Rich Paul always tries to distance his success from Lebron James. He is right. Many people have had a head start, and that's perfectly okay. There is NO WAY Rich would be where he is today without Lebron James. Not even close. Another remarkable thing is that Lebron chose the right people with exemplary character to empower. Rich is a high-character individual and a solid guy, But make no mistake, Lebron James' ecosystem is why Klutch is successful and why Rich is where he is today. I'm not downplaying his ability or understanding, but many people have that. The opportunities evade the qualified (especially men of color who are not in sports or entertainment), and Lebron James opened the door for him. I am happy for him, but I wish he would publicly embrace the importance of Lebron being the key. It does not diminish him as he has done well extending the olive branch received from Lebron.
Without lebron he would likely be working at a fast food chain. Lebron opened doors that would otherwise be shut to 99% of people. When Lebron retires I think you may see his relevancy diminish.
Totally agree. There's a saying I like , which is "Do not leave anything out of the equation." It's like 50 cent wouldn't have been 50 cent, unfortunately, without getting shot 9 times.
I'd also like to this , Imagine if more and more people within the black community participated in such a come up and were able to benefit in a more well rounded manner , their respective neighbourhoods and communities. The J community , once given the foot in the door via media and film were able to make soooooo much of an overall and overhaul of wealth that they could distribute within thier neighbourhoods making connections and diversifying the income streams until it wasn't just through the media or film , that they were able to make significant financial returns.
All the owners of the NBA franchises have made their wealth in the financial markets. I think there’s one or two team owners who actually made meaningful contributions to society. They are all unproductive wealthy people from old money.
I like the way you simply said it's gonna be the same that's why I built it. Seems as if ppl don't see what you've created outside of Lebron and continuing to build. I like the NBA commissioner on you❤

I lose respect for them everytime they say that. You have a Jordan who shys away from being called the greatest, out of respect for the players of the past. And you have Lebron and his team campaigning for that status. It’s unfortunate, because it takes away from his aura.

Rich Paul must give respect and acknowledgement where it's necessary. LaBron James played a pivotal role in your success without any iota of doubt. Mr. Paul must accept that fact. Also its type misleading because there isnt 10:09 worth of content on the topic on less than 2 minutes and its at the end.I guess it had to be stretched for monetizing purposes.
I disagree with a lot of the comments regarding how Rich would be nothing without Lebron. Every successful business owner, entrepreneur, or CEO has at one point been handed and opportunity. Clearly, Lebron saw something in Rich and the opportunity given was fully exploited. I think Rich would have been successful in some way regardless of being friends with Lebron, just not likely to this level. The reason so many people tie Rich Paul's success to Lebron more than normal is simply due to Lebrons level of fame, and Rich Paul's rise being so public. Not to mention, the fact that he's a black man making waves in a predominantly white industry. People squander opportunity every day. Rich Paul did the opposite.
It makes sense why LeBron took offense to Phil Jackson calling his friends a “posse”, they all work hard, and are respected businessmen, not leeches putting in no work thinking they’re owed something.
