Good to see the black Lunchbox fixed and back in action after the beach fail. And omg what a wheelie bar. Good stuff....👌.

Wow. Thanks for watching and the comment. Was really surprised when I played it to see you had beaten me to the first view. The wheelie bar does look quite good. I made it to try to stop the thing from looping over backwards, but now with the 10.5T motor and big wheels it still loops if I give it full throttle from a standstill .

Thanks Christopher. It was in the end, but after the run with the Lunchbox the GPS logger ran out of battery so we had to go home for a coffee and charge it back up. Luckily it's such a small battery it only took about half an hour to charge.

Thanks Tony for your kind words. After this run I decided to swap the 10.5T motor for a 13.5T. Don't think it's lowered the top speed much but now the TBLE-02s doesn't overheat (it cut-out a couple of times during this short run)

Yeah the Lunchbox is a really fun kit out of the box. It will wheelie with a stock motor. But if you upgrade the motor then you must glue the tyres on the back. The first time I ran it with the brushless motor it stopped wheeling and it turned out that the wheels were spinning inside the tyres. I have a quick video showing the ballooning effect ua-cam.com/video/CvOTQK6zRZ8/v-deo.html if you want a laugh.😁

Rob Brennan oh man I need to buy a glue tires! I have brushless system in the Tamiya grasshopper and tires are still stay on. Interesting.

Most of my other brushless kits I have not glued, as long as they are Tamiya wheels and tyres. What I have found though is that fitting none Tamiya tyres on Tamiya wheels always means I end up gluing them on. Also all my other big wheel rigs I have not glued the tyres on as yet anyway 😊😊

Rob Brennan I hate glue on my fingers. Nasty job with gluing on the tires. 😂😂😂😂

Nice one Rob! I like the GPS stats that you showed in the video - I must do that when I make my first speed run video! Thought the Lunchie was gonna do better than that - at least the low gearing enables it to produce those monster wheelies. Later mate - your friend Mark...

Cheers dude. Yeah once I got the app and Windows driver working I thought it would be interesting for people to see the stats and graphical layout of the runs. I know what you mean about the speed of the Lunchbox with the 10.5T motor. From how quickly it got to top speed I think I may swap it for my spare 13.5T and use the 10.5T on something else.

What’s the best tooth to have on stock motor

Hi Chris. The stock gear for the Lunch box is 10T and without modification is the only size you can fit. The stock gear for the Racing fighter is 17T but from memory the stock motor will pull the other option of 19T and will be a bit quicker, but I would recommend you get a steel one as it will last a lot longer. Hope this helps?
