For you who wonder how he do the perspective grid:
Its the polygon tool (U) in photoshop
set the sides to 99 and use the pulldown tab, click "star"
than under "indent sides" set your value to 99 percent
hope this helps
Absolutely amazing! Totally mesmerized watching the process you go through to get the final product.
so good to see that great artists like you take some time just to share this things. very appreciated.
its been 6 years and it was the 1st digital painting video I saw and made me get into it. It will be my all time fav.
It is unbelievable ! Absolutely amazing... You really are in good hands in your job!
The lighting in this piece is incredible. Gorgeous painting Noah!
wow! I mean you did this within just a layer using basic brushes! This requires so much patience man. A learning experience.
I think this is a very good way to do things if you are still learning about values and getting the lighting right.
Another tip is to add a layer filled in with 100% black on top of all other layers, and set the layer to Saturation. This is a handy way to check that values are right and that it still reads well by just turning the layer on every now and again :)
Thanks for your tutorial! It was good to see your workflow
Such an inspiration! This is my new standard, and I will aim for this great heights XD
Fantastic work! I love to watch these kinds of videos, because even though there is no commentary and the vid is sped up, I still learned so much. This is very inspiring stuff, I can't wait to get started on my next piece!
