Let's make a Mother's Day Card!
This SVG file has 3 different Mother's Day Cards in it. You can make it with the word "Mom", weld your own text or cut only the heart pattern. It's all ready for you, you just need to prep the file in Cricut Design Space and cut!

Learning and brand new to Cricut Maker 3, trying 1st card ever. Can I use regular sheets of cardstock to make this, so that Cricut will cut it out for me? I want to try cut the 2-layer version only to begin with. Thank you this is a lovely card for Mother's Day! Staying Hopeful😃
How do you weed paper? Is it any different than weeding vinyl?

No, not at all! One of the cards in the SVG file has a blank spot so you could easily weld your mother's name on it. Thanks for watching!
Hi again, I figured out my below question. For some reason it didn't fully download, but onto the next question please. I downloaded it in CD, it shows everything on the right side, but does not show it in the actual design space. Thanks.
It looks like the file is loading all the way to the right of screen. Zoom out and you should see it there. (Click the little (-) on the bottom left corner). See video above at 36s: ua-cam.com/video/nIhJUhfTbyY/v-deo.html

I followed the li k to download and it's coming up as a blank file. I just got a cricut joy. Very new to this process. Lost in the sauce. Lol
Me too, loved the video and would love to try to make the cards. The SVG file is only a purple rectangle. Please advise
Love the video and design. I downloaded it, but once I unzip it and open it, it is a blank screen. Can you please help? Need to get this in the mail to mom. :-)
It's probably trying to open a "compatible svg program" on your computer. Open up Cricut Design Space instead and "upload" the file into it. It should work then. :)

Do you have to have a scoring wheel to do this?
Nope! It makes it easier but if you have a scoring tool that would work or even a ruler (or just fold it)
Im having troubles changing the word mom to my moms name every time i try to weld it, it turns purple or it seperates my score lines and wont group back together SOS!! lol
Hi Irene - are you trying to make it part of a layer or cut it out separately? If you're trying to cut it out separately on top, try using ATTACH instead of weld.
What cardstock you use?
