My favorite mother's day gift i have given was a picture of my mom and grampa when she was a teen. She had just finished track, and they were both so happy, smiling. I blew it up, put it on canvas, and custom framed it. I also had him write a little note that was attached to the back. That year, he was dying of cancer. He ended up passing that June. It was an emotional gift, but something my momma treasured to have knowing she wasnt going to have much time left with him.
My favorite mothers day gift I gave to my mom when I was in the Air Force in basic training. It was a frame with a rose on it. It was etched into the glass that said “A Mother’s Love”. She kept it hanging on her wall in her bedroom until the day she died at 93 years old. I miss her everyday. Th best gift I have received are my six beautiful grandchildren!!!!
My best Mother’s Day gift I received was in 1971 when I was gifted the birth of my firstborn three days before Mother’s Day. Sadly I lost him when he was 21. But I will see him soon when we are reunited in heaven. I cannot wait!
Bethany, these are so nice!! One of my favourite Mothers’s Day cards is a recent one - handmade by my daughter. She calls me “MooMa” because I love milk & cute cows - she decorated with adorable baby cows with “Happy MooMa’s Day” as the sentiment 🥰. For my own Mom, when I was about 10 or 11, I bought a tiny teacup & saucer that says “I love you, Mom” & came with a little metal stand. I remember being so happy to give it to her - used my pocket money. She passed away 34 years ago this month 3 days after Mother’s Day (she was only 55), & now I have this tiny teacup set to cherish. A bittersweet piece is that that Mother’s Day was one of the last times I was able to see & speak to her 😔.
My favorite Mother’s Day ‘gifts’ began when my husband would help them make me breakfast in bed. He did it with them from about age 3 until they went off to college! They were always so proud and excited to do it! Usually, they would have something that they had made for me, handprints, drawings pretty much anything that they hand made!🥰❤️
It’s not really a gift, but one Mother’s Day when my son was young, he and I went and got happy meals and took them to a park. Ate, and played on the playground in beautiful weather. A great day!
My Mom & I would go to the garden center together and treat each other to a perennial every Mother’s Day. Sadly, she is no longer with me but she lives on in my garden every spring. 💕🌸
My favorite Mother’s Day gifts was a necklace my oldest daughter got me with my name and when you turn it over it says “best mom ever”. The other gift I got from my youngest daughter was her handprint and then a poem on the back. ❤❤
Favorite Mother’s Day gifts are all those my boys made for me over the years, and the few times we have all been together on Mother’s Day. Oldest has been in the military for 19 years, so no Mother’s Day celebrations with him and his family. 2024 that changes when he retires!!

Has anyone tried to use a die to cut vinyl? I saw that mom die and thought that would look nice on a shirt or something.
I have tried it and it did not work. I took a quality die in my Big Shot and it would not cut thru. I was disappointed.
