Awesome vid mate, I’d also add the ExpII to the list of potential changes for this year, timing just seems to line up well for the ExpII in 2021. Either way, great stuff and keep it up!
Good insights. I’d love to see a video on the pre ceramics fit. It’s unpopular to say but the maxi case doesn’t wear well on most wrists. Don’t get me wrong the current ceramic sport models are tanks and are wonderful quality but as far a wearability I will take a 5 digit. I really hope the Explorer doesn’t go up to 41mm either. I believe that would be a mistake. At the same time I would love to see the Explorer II 42 (which I own) come down in size a bit, maybe even to 40 mm. I love the Explorer II but like I said in the beginning, the case wears large. The taper in the lugs helps and it’s also a bit slimmer than you’d expect which helps it wear a little more reasonably but I think the watch proportions would be best at 40mm. Obviously both Explorers can use an updated movement.
As your talking about oyster flex, I’m thinking that maybe a green 24hr hand and green oysterflex on the anniversary explorer ii? What do you think the chance of that is ?
New movement for Explorer and totally new look and movement for Explorer II. Air King discontinued as well as JC Deep Sea and YMII. New movement for Daytona.
Since Rolex Won't or Can't Do it. Commission Tudor to Make the 36 Printed Dial Explorer with Riveted Bracelet. Smiths does it but only make so many. And now Ali Express Brand San Martin are about to make a version. Tudor Did Black Bay and Can do a Vintage size Style of the Explorer Better than the others.
I am secretly praying for a white dial Explorer (a.k.a. Polar) to be introduced (just like the Explorer II). There's something alluring about white dial Rolex that draws me in like a magnet. Hope some Rolex HQ folks out there hear my prayer 🙏
I am lucky, because i am from Switzerland. I can get all Rolex Sport watches like sub or pepsi. I just walked Inn to my AD and orderd ohne sub date. After 2 months i got one.
@@thewatchdealers9105 ironically I remember when just 3-4 years ago Subs and GMT's were low on the Rolex totem pole and could be had easily (and even discounted a few years before that).
Lewis great video and insight mate, nice to meet you all yesterday. thanks for all your hospitality you were great to deal with 😉

That's a good prediction, the exp 2 could definitely see changes this year.
Great stuff! Look forward to seeing more!
Thank you! Looking forward to doing more

A return of the 36mm Explorer but with a lumed 3, 6 & 9 would be awesome. And with the Explorer II get rid of those ridiculous over sized hands.
Great video! I’d not considered the OysterFlex as a prediction but makes sense!
Thank you Nicholas!

A new 36mm Explorer with the 3230 caliber movement and lumed numerals would be killer!
They return the working to 34mm and the old face
explorer in rose gold green dial.

Yeah, 36mm explorer ain’t happening
I predict all 3 predictions/hopes will be wrong
new milgaus
Like you said Explorer I is for losers who cannot afford a Sub GMT Daytona. Hard pass. AK at least gives something new and unique.
Haha, mate I don't know if I went that far. The explorer 1 is a great piece, it's just lagging behind.
@@thewatchdealers9105 Hard pass, from a sub / gmt owner. Rather not be associated with the Rolex Timex.
