My first time in Peckham and I was like "Damn, my village people finally got me back to Nigeria unplanned"
Everyone was speaking Yoruba, Igbo music blasting and guys asking me if I wanted to barb my hair. I had to runaway from the crowd for some minutes to be sure I was still in London.
I had mad fun with other Nigerians. I had to suspend my visit to Buckingham Palace and remained in Peckham for extra days.
Peckham; the Surulere of UK. 😀

Our Peckham (or Deptford) is proper Ojuelegba or Oshodi for London. Whenever we're home sick, we go there. The only thing missing is our dear conductors and agbero. Sometimes you just want to hear someone shout "Oshodi, Oshodi, enter with your change o, no lapping - go on body..."

I shop from that mama too. I travel to Peckham to shop. You should have gone into Cafe Spice, the young Asian men there sell Nigerian food cheaper, moi moi in leaf, dun dun, jollof and fried rice and different swallow and soup. Lolak is also in Tulse Hill and their soup with amala is £11; Enish in Brixton is more expensive. Bola Cuisine in New Cross is cheap but you have to order amala in advance. I think there are other places all around but I cannot remember their names. It is cheaper to buy and cook for yourself.

Could you kindly consider a video on the relationship between Black British (who are descendants of the slavery) and black Africans in the UK? Just to add context, in the United States, the Native Black Americans (aka foundational black Americans or American Descendants of Slavery) have been pushing to show their differences from Black African Immigrants (who could even be US citizens). There have been tensions along what Black means in America and how some (immigrants) are not Black enough. Do we have similar situation in the UK where the blacks who descended from enslaved people have diving lines with Africans?
1.No black in Europe is a decendant of slavery, They or their parents pr grandparents are from africa and the carrribean meaning they are immigrants themselves. Blacks in Europe all migrated from Ghana,Nigeria etc. Like me I'm ghanaian grew up in London.
2. Educate yourself only american blacks are slaves and don't know where they come from. We blacks in Europe are migrated africans we aren't like you

Chidera well done. Trust me with your videos i already know what to put in place and what to expect before traveling abroad. The truth is there is a lack of knowledge about some of this stuffs to Nigerians, Nigerians take abroad as a get rich quick solution and even the travel agents in a bid to make money are not telling people the truth. Travel agents will just tell you that jobs in London pay 1300 pounds, the next thing is you convert it and think God has answered your prayers whereas the agents will never tell you the re-occurring fees you will need to keep paying that will eventually make the 1300 pounds NOTHING. Thanks for this knowledge again.

I made to understand that Peckham suburb in South London is about 70% Africans who are mainly of Nigerian extraction.
Peckham is known as the most dangerous place in London because of the crime rate. From this video I agree 100% with that assertion.

Exportation? I grow this in the US. I just harvested plenty of Nigerians greens yesterday, and I live in cold Michigan. But in the summer months, I plant plenty of greens and other produce. But 1.30GDP is not bad for a bunch of ugu
