You showed us the market area in Rye lane which is known for selling international food items and other commodities beneficial to Afrcans and Carribeans in so many ways. What you did not explain is that in the evenings all those trash boxes are cleared. Rye lane does not depict the true description of Peckham as there are beautiful neighbourhoods situated at all corners as well as expensive residential buildings. Many major cities in this universe have their local commercial hub that accomodate international residents and they can sometimes look like our typical Naija market area especially where population is more such as London and New York . Rye Lane is nothing like Oshodi Market or Aba Market.

Very true, I lived at Lakanal house and Peckham was my everyday market. There r posh areas too in Peckham, and living there made me feel at home.
That is London for you 😅. When you're here, you feel at home. I like going to Peckham fir fun and shopping but can't live there
