Some things shouldn’t be taken quite so literal... opinions do vary but I think you are correct in saying they are/were one of the best live hardcore bands ever. So much energy. Their music is just groovy and infectious all around and like you said, if it don’t make you wanna move a little, you might just be dead inside! Lolll
And reverb. It'd be interesting to see where the audio came from for this. Like what outputs on the board, because they could've sent less effects for sure, but I'm sure it was drenched in reverb and delay, because it's outside, so that stuff dissipates much more, which makes this mix sound 'bad'.
@@matthewbrown6397 pretty sure this is recorded from stage, i think the delay is due to sidefill and main pa, since there doesn't seem to be a delay line. Still way too much reverb, also on snare.
Stop using the chambered echos on your vocals. One of the freshest vocal rock styles and hes purposely covering them up with effects for whatever reason.
