- What will it be? A Battle Royale or Peach? I've added 4 new African Cichlids to the 300 gallon aquarium. Whenever you add cichlids to an established African Cichlid tank, "Get ready to rumble!"

Great to know everything is looking good, Ben! It always has worked for me, when I have added new African cichlids to an established tank, only if I add at least 3 new fishes that are smaller than the old gang. Normally they don't see smaller fishes as rivals or competitors.

Nice variety for sure. One of the coolest times adding fish to a new tank over the last few years is watching them all get full color and resetting the hiarky. My Best luck was adding them 2 hours before the lights kick off , watch them full color and acting wild for that time then lights out and most of the time all was a success 🤞😆

Just as im about to add new fish to the tank i feed the ones already in there, then i the add the new fish. They are more interested in the food than the new fish lol. Works for me anyway.

Yes! Good idea. After adding new fish I make sure tummies are full and might feed them frozen krill which they stuff themselves with.
The trout is such an interesting looking fish. Hope you get your replacement tanks soon, if it was me, I would be hurting myself on those clamps😅

Beautiful Cichlids, Do you have to be careful introducing a new pair of Ram Cichlids to a tank with a pair of Ram Cichlids already in the tank? They are the blue Ram Cichlids
How big is the tank?
Lookin good! I do have a question. I have several plants I bought from Elite cichlids on your recommendation. Even fake plants don’t last forever. Can you recommend another source?
I’ve seen some nice ones on EBay, but none that come close to Elite Cichlids
