What I'm not growing in the 2024 garden!

There are a few things I don't think I am going to grow in next year's garden.
I garden in zone 5b - 6a in southeast Nebraska.

I am growing the following tomatoes: Juliet, black cherry and sun gold for cherry. Grandero and Plum Regal for paste. Galahad and Chef’s Choice Red for red slicers. Chef’s Choice Orange and Chef’s Choice Striped for other colors. I won’t be growing Buffalosun, San Marzano, Super Sauce, and Blush. I like to try a few new ones each year.

I enjoyed your video. Yes there are a few eggplants that i will not be growing nextcyear along with a few beans that did not perform very well for me. I would livecto havecsome ofvthe seeds you are willing to donate to another gardener. I have donated seeds to other gardeners as well. If there are seeds you are looking for let me know. I’ve got a couple of friends and family I’m going to check with for the seeds first but I will for sure check in with you after to see if there are a few you may want as well. 🤍

I’ll be growing the blueberries cherry tomatoes, I’m 7b and super humid and it’s the cherry tomato that seems to hold out the longest before dying to blight. Also growing a dwarf form of okra that I found last year. I will not be growing Thai hot peppers. Too hot for me.

Oh my gosh we struggle with eating Thai hot peppers too. I’m learning we aren’t a very spicy family.
I do find it interesting that it is the cherry tomatoes that end up surging the longest in humidity. We don’t have a lot of that here so my cherries always end up a tangled mess by the end of the season.
