The game follows Ethan Brady, a new Resistance member whose Resistance cell is expecting a visit from Benjamin Walker, "The Voice of Freedom" and leader of the national Resistance against the KPA occupation. Brady's cell is attacked in a KPA raid, and every member of the cell except for Brady are tortured to death by the KPA. Walker arrives, saving Brady and killing the KPA, but ends up wounded in the fight. Brady leaves to make contact with another Resistance cell, but while he's gone the KPA raid Walker's safehouse and capture him. Brady attempts to rendezvous with the new cell, but is mistaken for a Korean spy, beaten unconscious, and nearly tortured by the Resistance, being saved at the last moment when his identity is established. Brady joins the new Resistance cell led by the big-hearted, blue-collar Jack Parrish, whose field commander is volatile, ruthless former criminal Dana Moore. Two other key figures in the cell are Dr. Sam Burnett, a pacifist medical doctor who believes in nonviolent resistance but works with the Resistance anyway in order to treat the victims of the KPA's brutality, and James Crawford, a Resistance spy operating within the KPA ranks as an American collaborator. The Resistance's primary focus is finding Ben Walker and rescuing him.

Homefront (2011) and Revolution are some underrated gems. I just wish it had an audience, I would love to see this franchise make a return again

Cold Flame I liked it too. I'm not really sure why it upset so many people. But I'm often on that side of things. Lots of movies people scream about being terrible I like, same with games, music, etc. Maybe I'm just awful lol
My one complaint would be that I thought the campaign could've been more in depth.
allyourpcarebelongtous yeah splitting it into dlcs was not the best idea. And I think people are upset that it’s not realistic in the sense of how North Korea took over. It’s a video game people. Everyone knows NK has no chance of invading. That’s why it’s a what if scenario.

Apparently (looking at the wiki) its an entirely different NK and USA (NK being a capitalist dictatorship with Asian Steve Jobs and USA bring "that guy" internationally with no Steve Jobs) but the best part (that is not mentioned in the intro) is that NK actually was given the thumbs up by the international community to pull the plug on all USA devices and invade and use the brutal methods in a way to "settle the debt".

No, not really. This is a very conceivable course of events. It'd never happen real world considering that we have the edge on tech still. What we have as consumers is about a century behind what our military has. Rail guns? Lasers weapons? Thousands of nukes? We literally have stuff outta sci-fi movies, I doubt anyone is gunna be going to the Koreans for anything

It really sucks having a broken audio jack. Only the left side works to when the characters go on the right side I can't hear shit. It really takes the immersion away while playing games, watching movies and listening to music. I swear I thing my right ear is losing :P. There's a time splitters 2 game hidden within the game . Now I never played time splitters 1 or 2 until this game . Time splitters 2 felt like a golden eye 007 kinda game . Anyway idk if many people knew about that but I think that's a cool idea . At first when I discovered or I was like wow they tried to be like GTA 4 with their make shift arcade game of Tetris . Nah home front revolution legit has time splitters 2 a legit ps2 game programmed into the game already . I think it's an Easter egg . Idk don't care too much about it but figured I say that for whatever reason .

i tried this game a long time ago and i thought it was so disappointing
game glitched to hell in this area believe i had to stop the enemy from using gas or somthing, you had to drive a truck. never played since. 2:30:34 this part of the game, glitched and never fixed. everytime i tried a checkpoint, nothing worked.
The main enemy isn't really believable but the game was fun.

This revolution should have died in like five minutes. In the endgame you got your leader get fucking laid out by gunfire because he didn't think there'd be soldiers on the other side of the door you lifted up and your co leader or whatever decides to join the NFL and slide into that cars DM's and blow herself up instead of yeeting the bomb like a frisbee. Use two hands trust me it'll get far. Then our protagonist decides to not close the door or check his kill and nearly gets choked out by daddy but gets saved by his dumbass leader. Now I find this very BS. Dude got shot like 8 times so he somehow crawled his way down the road, up the stairs, found a gun, aimed the gun whilst he was bleeding out, dude probably couldn't even see cause of his lack of blood

For more than half the game, you're trying to rescue a guy and when he's broken down and no longer useful to the cause suddenly he's forgotten there and then. Brady, our guy, could've avoided many issues if only he could speak or try to convey his message using signs if he's mute.
If this is a good story for you then the story of games like last of us, horizon zero dawn, (any game from sony's studio) would seem like as if God himself has written it.
Ok, this game has to take place in an alternate timeline if north Korea was more technologically advanced then both Russia and the u.s in the 70's.

Honestly I think its just dumb for North Korea to invade the US. Honestly if they wanted them to be the enemies so bad, maybe the game should take place in South Korea in a North Korea invades scenario, and you play as member of South Korea's resistance movement. Or hell if you wanna have the good guys be American, then maybe you can be an American soldier or marine stationed there lending his skills. The setting could be in Seoul or Busan and the goal would be to pave the way for the eventual US intervention. I think that would be a more unique story than the sillyness of this one.
Hell if they still wanted to go with the America invaded concept, then how about a coup from a far right neo-fascist group who seizes control of the military? That's at least a lot more believable

I have this game is super terrible it hard to shoot, glitches ,bad AI, not enough weapons. The first one was way better
