Ajahn Brahmali is such an incredibly chill monk! It’s absolutely amazing to see his evolution from how scholarly and academic he has been for years and years and now to see him integrate humor so skillfully. I loved the “don’t try this at home” disclaimer there lol 😂 very cool 😎

He has commented in the past about how studying the suttas was an important support for his meditation practice. It really seems to have paid (or be paying) off.

1:06:30 Ben Shapiro once said "facts don't care about feelings". the opposite is also true - feelings often don't care about facts and that's how opinions and views are formed. beautiful lecture. thank you very much 🙏

Hello, hoping someone can help here. So I listened to a recent Ajahn Bhramali youtube talk while I was half sleeping and I cannot find what it is now. I want to relisten to it. In the talk he said it is not our will that chooses or does things but our inclination. Wanting to find that talk.

    ref Nature... Habitat selection.
All animals gravitate towards the environment in which they evolved.
The environment of evolutionary adaptedness as its called.
The ANS is a shared entity..
Us and the rest of nature and all in it.
He sounds as gentle and genuine as he did 3 decades ago at Chithurst.
    One critique..
We dont react to the environment, we preact.
