I dont even know exactly what i focus on. Like imagine talking to someone and you’re facing them. Now imagine not making eye contact but looking towards the direction of their eyes. Thats how i see the rim/hoop. I see it but im not really focusing on it, you just see the thing as a whole
This is the best explanation I have seen on this topic, like I try to aim for the back of the hoop but most times I just end up focusing on the hoop as a whole and not just the back

I go for the back of the rim if I'm open. And if there's a defender on me, I go for a bank shot.
I'm pretty good at bank shots, but everyone says I should try to swish it at all times.
COOL SAUCE if it aint broke don’t fix it (if you are making the shoot but YOUR form of YOUR shooting is bad don’t fix the shooting or form)

I've seen countless videos of "where 2 aim when shooting a basketball" but honestly i didnt rly know what its means, does it mean where u focus ur eyes on the rim??? Or does it mean where u imagine the ball would go??? Pls someone explain T_T
aim at the peak of the arc and see the magic
That’s what I do. I aim for a spot at the peak of the arc. Need to look at the rim first and visualise an arc.
Hi, so I don't miss but I hit 80% of my trees of the glass which frustrates me, even if I aim for the hooks. But the same story can't be said about midrange shots. I use the same technique/form for a one motion shot that I stole from curry. I do hit 3s but from the backboard.. 😂😂 Any tips?

I would suggest try to shoot the ball, hitting nothing but net. That means you not allowed to hit the rim or the backboard. Imagine how you would shoot it then. almost like throwing a grenade at the basket. nothing but swish shots
I bring the ball to my eye and try to get my thumb on the hook before releasing.

Coach when I shoot, sometimes the ball tends to go off my pinky instead of my middle finger and causes the shot to miss, how do I fix this?

When setting up your shot, have your pointer finger in the middle of the ball instead of your middle finger. Your wrist should naturally rotate so your middle finger is the last to touch the ball.
I just aim for the net itself, and then put arc on it because it's a straight forward target
Some baskets dont have a real net..than what? you gotta go for what you know every basket has

CammoAmmo i Think your hand on the side of the ball pushes the ball to the side, Maybe you can practise shooting with 1 hand of shooting with your hand on the side making flat so you actuly shooting with 1 hand a sort of
