Lmaoo, now you got me picturing him with a cape.
But without a cape, nice one
@@Alart28 one punchhh
Can u teach us how to punch!😂
HAHAHAH
1. Bend the Wrists, increase ball in hand time
2. Keep hands close on crossovers (again, maximizing ball in hand time)
3. Hip Mobility, allows you to get lower, can practice with touching the ground on crossovers
4. Getting a good grip, palm ok, finger ends touching ball
(from other vid, incorporating dribbling and passing to suicide drills)
The tip about getting your fingers as wide on the ball as you can and making sure your flicking your wrist just elevated me. I've been playing for years but I always played post so there was no need for me to dribble. Now I'm playing guard and I need this skill. Thanks coach!
always find it interesting how some people are just naturally good at most ball sports and some people can't do anything lol
That goes for everything in life bruh
It's your mindset, if you say you can't do it and never try then obviously you'll never get better
@@LarMarForeverCousins no it’s how much time you spent in it
Im an absolute beginner. Your videos are awesome even for a 33 year old like me. I am slowly starting to see some progress thanks to you
You still hoop? If so how much have you improved?
@@pimpdoggydogg8670 I try to hoop every week. I went from nothing to actually being able to dunk and hold my own
Yeah thanks, I'm teaching myself. I'm a girl and I refuse to play a pickup game until I get way better!
Sandi Richard I think that’s a mistake you have to try what u been learning in games but practice more than u play and keep adding things to your game but u will choke and won’t know how to implement it and most likly u won’t be successful on learning how to implement what u learned in a game so in a way that’s practice too you do what you want but I’m tryna help and if your super serious play against good competition good luck to you

Hi, Great video! I don't actually play basketball, but after seeing this went out and bought one so that I can do your drills the way you do them. The reason is that I think it will help with my overall mobility and help in my martial arts training! Love that relaxed and coordinated way of moving. Keep up the good work!
And don't forget to run your miles, do your pushups and situps. Warning, may cause hairloss.
And actually you may not need to pass your defenders you can just punch them
BAM ! they're dead
@@prickyguy2353 Take the whole court with you while you are at it.

A chiropractor can help with wrist flexibility, hip mobility and a sore back for all athletes. The focus can be on rehab and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization.
For years I wasn't really into basketball, I was just a catch-and-shoot 3 and D type of player because I was a shitty ball handler and the only reason I was in teams in the first place was because I was a good shooter and defender, but now that I'm more into the game, I've been working on my dribbling skills and even play making.
this will help me have good dribbles 😊 thanks for the tips
This is going to be very helpful. Thank you.
thank you this actually helped a lot because i would make basically all of these mistakes and not realize why when i would watch myself play that was the reason i looked stiff
Hey im a kid my age is 9 When i grow up i wanna be a basketball player! I know how to play but im not that good You are really helping me out! Thank you sir.
Hope it works out for you let us know when ur at the top bossman💯😂
u got this bud, im 14 and im tryna learn and i wish i started when you did, dont give up and u got this 💪💪
YOU DESERVE AN AWARD. THIS HELPED ME BEYOND MEASURES. ITS CRAZYYY.
Dude i was total zero at dribbling and crossover moves. After 5 days of practicing i can make combo of cross, behind the back at least 3-4 times on mediocre speed. I hope ill do those tricks when i have an opponent in front of me :D. Thanks a lot mate!
Very informative video!thanks for sharing coach!
Video is great as always coach......I've improved so much with your tips!!!
I am 12 years old and I started basketball course 2 months ago. I’m not really good at it but i think I’ll get better with the help of your tips👏🏻
watching this really makes sense and the tips really are simple but i still haven't done it maybe that's why my handles are terrible rn im gonna start practicing these tomorrow
3:00 my Biggest problem for years and I could never figure out why all my dribbling training never paid off. I had weak hips the whole time and the worst part about it is I’m a runner too. Good thing though. That means I have a LOT of room for improvement 🥳 Easy dribbling to wherever I want on the court has my name on it. I guarantee that.
check out kelly starret , great for mobility, has a book called "becoming a supple leopard".
Get Handles u could make videos of u 1v1ing other people. I think we’ll all also love this content.
ConfusingBaller don't plan on posting any more game footage on the channel. It's not really my main focus and what I'm looking to achieve
ConfusingBaller I have a lot of older videos with that you can watch though
Get Handles Basketball I totally understand. XD

Thank you sir for sharing this video now I understand what my problems were on my cross overs. Now I'm starting to get better. Bless you 🙂
What an awesome video. Ima try and work my wrists more when dribbling. :)
My handle is getting better just need to master in real game situation and hip. Thanks coach.
Thanks so much this really helped I improved my game really fast thanks for the videos😁😁
Where was this man 33 years ago! I could have really used this video!
33 years ago most of these moves would have been called carrying the ball.
And 33 years ago UA-cam didn't even exist either.

Shreyas Barde thanks!
I can dribble really good but im just scared to use my left and I need to have more control with my left hand
Same here dude
Yes same same
Same
Try to use you left hand more even when it's wrong it helps for me
I’m left handed so it’s backwards for me. Going to my right is an absolute no go and that’s a deal breaker. Having the patience to practice it is the hard part.
Great videos!

Samuel future goat glad I've been able to be a part of your progress!
Get Handles Basketball thank you
Swinging the basketball with both hands together makes it harder for the defender to steal the ball. It's either they try, foul you, or make the steal.
Thnk u my ball handling is the worst here so itry to practice what i see to your video to be the best pg 😊 from ph
Great video friend you've got a new subscriber 😊💪💪
Kawhi Leonard palm the basketball and has good grip of it. Great video.
Ur doing cool great bro keep it up
Thanks for your tips now im improoving 😃😁
Thanks for new skills
Lmao i was a check to all of this 3 years ago, i used to play like klay thompson, just defending and spot up shots, but when i watched your kyrie irving crossover vids, i looked foolish on the court and the bigger kids kept on picking on me and say that im like a pickle, so i trained day and night, i asked my dad to play with me every morning before school, now im 13 and i found my old videos when my dad filmed our games, goddddddd! I was really stiff like a potato
You should make a comparison video of you before and you now
this guy is amazing

Happy to help you out!
The way you're dribbling was considered carrying for a very long time. According to the NBA rulebook, it's still a carry. They just don't call it most of the time.
true
What’s a long time? The past 40+ years its been like this lmao
Thank you so much
Thanks man
This is exactly the pointer I was looking to my wrist problem
Good stuff
Thanks coach
Yeah this one that you use it that's the one have trouble sometimes I want to learn more about that the gerbil and goes to the Rock quicker
Dribble in the dark improves handles
I self figured this out but cool to reassure my self
coach of 30+ years here with a quick fundamentals question... I've always emphasized with feeder program kids to avoid dribbling the ball between their feet on crossovers but to instead pull the ball back hip-to-hip for greater ball protection. Does your "keep your hands close enough to almost clap on a crossover" teaching point contradict that? Thanks in advance!
It can still be done in that way with it being "close to a clap" but may require players to be more flexible.
Thanks!
No problem!
Thanks you
I need coach like you
Thank you
Hi! I'm writing because I have a problem with crossovers. I know them very well, but during the game I am afraid to use them. can I ask for any advice?
Cool shoes bro
That wrist mobility is a great tip, I notice I get stiff wrist sometimes
Same😢
Nice you video
Thanks ur teach
When your dribbling make sure to keep both feet on the ground at all times, falling to do this will result in a lose of balance when in a basketball game. My neighbor who has been playing basketball for years taught me that.
Do you have a video that show's how to get your shot off coming off a screen or developing a quick release?
Very nice
Side note: I Love the music in his videos:p
What shoes is coach wearing? Are they Nike Hyperdunk 2018?
Thanks slim Johnny
