Maybe a few price tags would’ve been nice I know it changes from the US to the UK but just to get an idea thanks again love your channel
I did not have the price for the laptop, not released yet
1800€ in Poland. 1TB 32GB RAM
@@nnnnnn3647 Damn!!! I ordered 155H 32-1000GB for 1400euro in BiH, and I tought we have worst prices on planet
I bought two identical Asus G75 ROG laptops back in 2012 for $1,200 each. They were top of line back then, and I'm still using them today just fine for the type of work I do (running both Win7 to Win10 on SSD's). One can buy a cheaper lower end laptop every couple of years, or go with a top of the line and last over a decade. imo
I was a laptop person, and this is very nice, but I am a homebody now and I prefer the desktop, I have to admit this laptop is very nice and I might look into the 32 GB that would really interest me, Great video Brian.
Thanks for watching
I am desktop with gaming GPU, ALWAYS PLUGGED, ETHERNET, type of guy.
@@BigEightiesNewWave I'm into that now myself, laptops are okay, but Desktops (many of them ) can be upgraded and it's all about the gaming and the power.
Be interesting taking it on a plane or a train.
OMG a user replaceable SSD and battery! Frigging' amazing! ha-ha Whenever Apple does it (never!), they'll claim that they invented it. lmao
Nice one Brian that is really interesting but it would not meet what I want in a laptop (although I am envious of the OLED screen) - I am an Asus products fan of many years and at present have an beautiful 17" (always prefer that size) Asus Vivobook X712FAC and it is simply that best Asus laptop I have ever owned (nearly all of my machines use Asus hardware) Mind you it looks to be easier to work on as when you show removing the battery and yes my Vivobook has backlit keyboard keys as this one does.
Thanks for watching
hello! Im planning to buy this Zenbook but I've been hearing a quite alarming bad reviews about ASUS laptops. Have you ever have any problem with your purchases?
I used to be a long time HP user until they didn't stand be behind their products like they used to and I began to have problems with new purchases. I bought my first Asus a year ago and I love it. The build quality is excellent and I haven't had any issues. It's so much lighter than my old HP laptop and the performance was so much more than I was expecting. I'd look for a Asus model with specs that work for you and I would watch several reviews here on YT. Also it's important to read the comment section, you learn a lot. That's what I did before I decided on what model and specs to purchase. I also keep an eye out on price and shipping costs. BTW I love the Zen Books! I'm considering purchasing one too.
Random question - what are the games that you show in this video?
How can you say that it is best value if you do not know the price?
Because I know what previous Asus ZenBook's have gone for and they are one of the best laptops to buy. Its not rocket science
£1099
@@grahamlongley8298
That is the UK price
@@the.real.a-volpe Wrong. You have not included the components that he shows in the video. You have failed the exam. Go away & try again please.

🤡🤡🤡
Can you tell me how is the battery life and thermal performance. Does it heats up in normal usage.
good...yes
It would be interesting to see if a very recently released (or rolling) Linux distro works with this hardware. Not a sure thing since this laptop hasn't been released yet, and Asus doesn't have the best track record for Linux support.
Linux don't work as well with new hardware
Can you connect to ethernet using adapter? I have 3 adapters and none of them works. Is there any specification for the adapter?
Nice, that screen is gorgeous, somewhere around $2000?
Don't think its going to be anywhere near that much, but I could be wrong.
It’s 1300
Nice review. I'm not thrilled with the memory not being up-gradable.
Most laptops are going this way
great review thanks for sharing
You're welcome
hoow was ur battery life on it?
if anyone's interested: i have a core ultra 7 lenovo ideapad pro 5i. on battery saver, 60hz, i can get around 6-8 hours while doing simple tasks. reading PDFs, having youtube tabs open, editing on canva. on 120hz it lessens by about an hour or so. it differs if you're doing more tasks, brightness, or using the speakers
What color is this?
Sir ..I have a drive issue.... actually my external hard drive was not showing in my pc ... there was so many data in the drive.
Great review but soldered ram is unacceptable to me
Its the way these laptops are going
I think 32 is enough for most people
please fan noise ?
Good show thank you 😊
Our pleasure!
My wife has an HP Laptop, she likes it. I can’t stand Laptops, I like my HP Z440 Tower PC and it’s connected to my 32 inch Sony TV that’s connected directly to the router and my TV antenna here in Canada where currently I’m getting 39 digital TV channels, most of them are HD and completely free. The only things I watch on the Internet is UA-cam and TUBI TV as these are “no extra charge for now”.
good video, views blowing up I see
Terrible views, not sure what's going on
Ever notice Brian and Brain, are composed of the same letters.
Can you logon with fingerprint?
Don't look like it has finger print sensor
No stickers at last
I agree, not a fan of stickers on laptop
Great specs but not a huge fan of that keyboard. I prefer a full size UK keyboard with a large enter key. But that's just me being picky lol
only a 14" size screen so your not going to get large keyboard 😂
@@Britec09 Well yeah true but then again I got a full size one with my 15" screen laptop so not allot different :P
@@welshtony1 That 1" makes all the difference 🍆
The GPU in this laptop is not called the DX12 lol
god forbid you make a mistake, you are sure to point it out. I guess that's why they made you perfect you. Plum
@@Britec09 ill allow it
How durable are today's OLEDs??
Been using OLED screens for a while, not had any issues
1:14 1:20
Not much good to me if it doesn't run Linux ( ? ). I'm not buying Windows hardware for Microsoft to stop supporting it when the next version of Windows is released, never again.
Keep using your old hardware on Linux then.
@@Britec09 My Linux system runs on AM5, what does your Windows run on? 😄
The letters on the keyboard are almost non readable. Terrible design.
are you sponsered by asus.
Not a sponsored video, but the laptop was sent for review as mentioned
VIDEO CONTENT!
Please elaborate?
@@Britec09 hardware, it's a computer, I apologize I got excited.

Wait, no processor brand sticker? That's blasphemy I say!
Who wants a go faster sticker on the laptop? 😂
@@Britec09 Nowadays they put stickers over everything and say it's true. Maybe you have a good idea here. 🤔
