I am one of thousands of people who need there to be a God. For me, there needs to be a moral law. If this is all there is, why do the right thing? Why choose the good over the evil? In this life, doing evil usually gets you further along. If this is all I have to look forward to, then do whatever it takes to get the most out of people and life.

Yes and no to the initial question. Yes, if one is truly following with the characteristics of being a Christian and doing what God wants him to do. And also NO. This pertains to the people who are Christians in name and appearance only.

Mister Kennedy, what you just done is something we Catholics need to do a lot, which is a paradox named "agnostic apologetics". It is hard to defend Catholicism without mentioning Christ, but we have a master in the artistic world named J.R.R. Tolkien which created an entire world without ever once mentioning God, for example. We need more agnostic apologetics to save souls, as the current three-hundred years inertia for most people in the world foments bad inclinations towards discussing religion and Christianity in general.
Your only concern should be your own personal relation with Jesus, and professing your faith, not trying to please people, but God. The main issue is that our nations no longer fear God nor defend the faith.
@@rahzoriel2103 Yes, we should base our societies and nations on our faith (as it used to be), and for this to be possible, we should base our institutions on God's commandments, the Church's precepts and Jesus message. You should only be concerned about what God thinks of you not what other Catholics, or other Christians think of you, certainly not what the world thinks of you… humility is the virtue to reach.

Amen, Mr. Hall. Thank you for that exposition on language as an evolutionary impossibility. Brilliant.
Excellent philosophical presentation! As Oliver Twist said, "Can I have some more, sir?"
Kennedy have you heard from Fr. Mawdsley recently? Do you know when we may hear from him again?
This is great, Kennedy! Praise be to God!
