Needs one of those spark plug gap testing tools that makes a gap on the end of the spark plug. That's the best way to test if it's good. A short spark doesn't tell enough information. Needs to show a much longer spark to realistically duplicate what happens in the engine. But your design is great! Just needs a little spacer on the end of the spark plug.

I see that as soon as yo pull the pulse sensor away from the piece of metal is exactly when the spark happens. Thats a crutial thing to know when you're building your own system on an engine. Thank you.

How do you determine what pin of the cdi gets 12 volts? I have a 5 pin cdi

two classes of cdi one is primary coil operated. the other is battery operated. but they both have 6 pin or 5 pin

@SamianaWorks I have one question if you can help me, I have a problem with the electricity on a 150cc 4t Chinese scooter. I took the machine apart for the bearing and it sounds like it was done as it should be, assembled as it should be, everything as it should be, teeth, etc. but it doesn't give a spark to the spark plug. spark, I just connect the wires to the counter pickup and screw the other one, I throw the spark and put the wires back as they should be and fire normally. Now, could this cause damage to the CD or the coils on the multimeter, the coils read the voltage, but nothing is read on the CD or on the whistle, nothing the same , which could be a problem (coils and bomb were almost bought new)
