Sigh, which things like this occurs on every ship and every game i've played.. I think the lesson is, when you find out something like this happens, it is better to cut the tie earlier, rather than trying to "save" a person. It will only kill your own sanity.
It's not that I was trying to "save" the individual. It's that I was invested in the alliance. So, because I cared about (most) the people in the alliance, I stayed there. Moreso to assist with alliance, not with the individual. As, I've had the individual blocked for almost a year now. The issue was that the thing that was the issue, was the root of the alliance. It wasn't apparent on the surface at first that I was dealing with a full blown narcissist, naturally. But yes, in general, once you realize that you're dealing with a narcissist, you should always remove yourself from their presence. The longer you wait, the harder it is to do so or worse it is. This applies x1000 more so in real life, as well. If you start to see those behaviors and characteristics, you find a way to get out. And you do it as quickly as possible. If they're able to sink their claws too deep into you, you'll find yourself in a perpetual cycle of gaslighting, manipulation, and toxicity that makes it close to impossible to escape for an unfortunate many.
More like, the internet as a whole. It's definitely an issue. We're starting to see things correct itself though. Like that one Johnny Somali guy who is finally being held accountable for his actions. lol
Ship 1 veteran here. I can confirm KFC isn’t just a narcissist but he’s a damn creep. The way he talks about women is disgusting, and the way he’s spoken to me directly on one of my characters was even worse. Thank you for shedding light on all this.

Your damage calculator is a gem for the community, thank you so much for it. I think if you made videos breaking down the damage calculations for things often listing out explanations for meta gear as well budget options etc it would be super popular and help you get into the creator program if that's a goal. The calculator can be very overwhelming so seeing it explained in video form would be good content.

Leader on Ship 2 JP here. I’ve always found behavior like this over the years from people in leadership positions to be so ridiculous when you have a certain degree of “influence”. Unfortunately it’s something that happens in our community a lot though. But it does show a distinct lack of moderation for situations that occur in-game and out of game.
Absolutely. I don't want to sound cliché, but, "with great power, comes great responsibility". Unfortunately, sometimes people use such roles/positions to take advantage of people or otherwise, do whatever they want to do without consequence, in the worst type of ways. Which is not right.
I feel you Spike! I was in the top alliance on ship 3 as well and you definitely don’t realize how toxic or bad it can be until you see what goes on behind closed doors! Definitely felt good to venture out and explore other places and I seem to be enjoying the game so much more so cheers Spike, keep your head up held high! Welcome in from Ship 4! Toxicity is so glorified in today's society, that it creates this environment where we get these types of things and individuals. People are held without accountability or responsibility for their actions. My whole thing is keeping it real and keeping it 100. I had my own personal experience with KFC on base when he was starting his alliance. Bro asked me to join and I told him no. He felt some type of way and got me kicked out of three alliances. Spreading lies and rumors. Bro is just weird asf. He would randomly be sitting in my room off base. Shit just creeped me out. I stopped playing for over a year when NGS came out.
This is standard behavior from him. And standard of a narcissist. He will spread lies, he will spread rumors. He will go out of his way to manipulate, gaslight, downplay, and otherwise berate people who do not do as he wants. I'm sorry you had to experience this, however do understand that you're one of hundreds if not thousands who have similar stories pertaining to him. So you're not alone in that regard.

Nothing inherently wrong with joining a large alliance. Big thing is just to be cautious of the people you surround yourself with. Most alliances are not deeply rooted in narcissim and bad practices. This is largely a one off, that specifically revolves around the fact that the individual who runs said alliance, whom happens to be a narcissist of substantial proportions, is the root of the whole system. As thus, poisoning the whole pool. This is a worst-case scenario that's unlikely to repeat itself on such a grand scale, outside of said ecosystem (ecosystem can include deep associates that exist outside of direct alliance). So definitely do not let it deter you. The biggest thing is that when you recognize the behavior, do not allow it to set foot, and publicly hold people accountable. And most def, feel free to say hello!
I remember in base pso2 to pso2ngs, I was a guild leader to and from (Honors, Meiyokishi, Team Happy, Lunaneer) - also didn't have positive experiences with BiS , that's crazy tho... Good thing I never joined them, nice to see an inside scoop tho, ty - now I'm a member of Ship 1 guild called OP (for ~2 yrs now), been pretty chill, and overall good players both skillwise and personality
I worked with Uber to bring a fair amount of this shit to light on bird app a year ago and god, he literally just wrote it off as drama and stalking it was insane.
Yea it's a mechanism I've seen time & time again. It's a staple narcissistic quality that's meant to do and say everything to avoid accountability. Derail, downplay, flip the narrative, invalidate, play the victim. etc etc. These are all things I've seen in heavy doses.
Welcome, Ship 3! Alliances definitely can enhance your gaming experience. And can be great. But indeed, the biggest take away here is to definitely just be cautious of the people you surround yourself with and what their true intentions may be.
Ship1 is bad especially on the aelio block people were spreading hate speeches and racist things whole day. I couldn't stay longer there glad I moved to ship2 long time before
Ship 1 Aelio City (Whichever is the most populated Aelio block is generally how it works. Usually it's 1, but as of late has been 3.) is so bad on disproportional levels. It has cleaned up greatly, as I have continue to speak on it & address it in videos and on stream. Which is very good. But the "norm" there in public/area chat has historically been absolutely astonishingly wild, with the things people will say and do.

I was also apart of BIS and the way it is ran? Wasn’t what i was looking for.. i was planning to leave regardless but was booted out instead (that worked out for me) for unknown reasons. But then was asked to join back 🤷♂️(they still send me invites). Playing solo with randoms is more fun to me, instead of dealing with who in the alliance to party up with.. my player name is [ ], so I’m sure you have seen me around (since i was also around that time and that i have recently done a few UQ with you).
The way recruitment is done, is largely just blind invites, as well as of course in-game applications. There's multiple branches of the alliance, but it's all very much just corporate-type funneling.
If by narcissism you mean people standing around in Aelio trash talking and being lewd, yup seen that a lot. A lot of players from those on top alliances just like showing off their stats or clothes while ignoring or disrespecting ppl asking for help or advice. Its pretty sad the way they behave so immaturly

Also I've noticed from experience that ppl who act like this at work or in video games are trying to overcompensate for a lack of something. Their home life is prob crappy or they argue and fight with everyone they live with and carry that same energy into the games they play.
Great points! Most definitely, the disrespect for no reason and going out one's way to berate or otherwise ruin the experience of others, is and has always been wild to me. They spend so much time and energy on constantly bringing others down, because they themselves have undealt with trauma that they're projecting on others. I did a global tour of all the top allis and this is the exact vibe I got. Was looking for greater horizons and instead found year old gameplay activity and dudes arguing over their shirtless pics
Make no mistake the issues that surround this specific alliance are very unique to just it. As, most alliances are not rooted in full blown narcissism and bad practices to the degree that surrounds this particular situation and particular individual. There's plenty of great active alliance options out there that do not face this issue, though of course many exist with unique issues of their own (like dudes arguing over their shirtless pics lmao). @@Spikesxu he pretended to be my friend and at first he was nice to me but over time i noticed a dark vail around him and he would spend time arguing with people in the lobby over political views and the final straw was my first fashion show where i had stage fright and as soon as he saw me he made it known how disgusted he felt looking at me and ghosted the rest of the judges. i felt like i could not say anything because of the people that defended him and did not know how to handle it so after a few days i decided to abandon my character on ship 1 and make a new character on ship 3 and iv never felt better it took some time but im in an alliance where im happy and have an upcoming gig as the photographer for an upcoming fashion show. thank you for sharing more people need to know the true nature of KFC

And as mentioned in the video, that's how it generally works. The individual will appear very welcoming but you quickly start to notice inconsistencies and the layers a pulled back. You then realize that they were just using you for personal gain. I've surrounded myself with ppl that are encouraging and helpful. I think people have grown extremely way too comfortable with both of those things on NGS. And it's an issue that has to be addressed. Definitely do whatever you feel is best for you in that regard. That is always the intention of everything I do, to inform and provide you the tools to make informed decisions. My hope in telling this story and the reasoning behind it is so that this behavior is held accountable (which it still likely won't be. He'll find ways to weasel out of it). And so that the likely hundreds of players who have negatively been effected by these antics, finally have a voice, when they likely have felt silenced.

Yoyo its TRILLuminati from ship 1. Jus wanna say i hope for the best for yu, i kno deciding to leave an alliance can become stressful. Im actually glad you spoke on it rather letting them silence yu or allowing one persons toxicity ruin what yu enjoy. TBH your the main one i liked from BiS, and the only content creator i knew from them. Ive seen KFC with the ngs content creator badge but never seen his content. I used attend every ship 1 party n support alotta of our content creators n djs. This was the main way i ever ran into KFC but from my experience he would always be tryna get his ego stroked or steal the spotlight for bit then dip. It was annoying because most ppl were there to support who evers bday it was or the dj so i'd jus avoid him n his click lol So it doesn't surprise me to see his narcissism in full display. I dealt with some of my own drama on ship 1 a few months back and my only advice to yu is jus watch out for the fakes. Alot of alliance leaders and known members all talk, network with each other and have alt accounts in other alliances (thats why i dnt fw no one anymore). These days i mostly keep up with kero and your vids, so keep up the great work, your accomplishments are your own and your an amazing content creator 🖤🖤🖤

That's honestly far more patience than I would have had in that situation I've left alliances for less. I play on each ship and run my own alliance on ship 2, I used to be part of Black Rose on ship 1 whose leader got on my nerve because I told him that I ran my own alliance but acted as if I was supposed to care about Black Rose more. I was part of that alliance for 3 weeks and the final week the guy noticed that Black Rose wasn't in a position to get silver so he spammed alliance chat with "DO YOUR ALLIANCE TASKS" for over a minute which got me to leave
I'm generally (obviously as seen by this situation) a pretty patient man. I will give opportunities and create dialogue so that things are understood, before acting on them. The fact of the matter is that I cared a lot for the people in the alliance, so I surely let it play out for longer than I otherwise likely would've. And in regards to your story, oof yea that doesn't sound like an enjoyable experience. I can see how that would be conflicting how you had your own alliance to run, and the leader of that one wanted you to only focus on their alliance.

As a player on hiatus I always mentally prepare what comes my way when I start up NGS and all the fuck shit it offered in the past. My only experiences with best in slot was when they tried to recruit me after i separated from a two faced, two timing back stabber who wanted to be famous, hopping from one alliance to another. I declined their offer and dodged a bullet. KFC on the other hand, I would see this guy around aelio and his other character colonel in the past. When it comes to online games, The community.... Is like Pandora's box. Protect your mental, your peace, and stay sucker free, it's a lot of them running around NGS🤦🏾♂️

Unfortunately we live in this society where toxicity and acts of the sort are essentially glorified. Lack of accountability, manipulation, gaslighting, etc. And KFC is the masterclass at all of these lol. The community in NGS can indeed be as you stated, a kind of Pandora's Box. But I feel like I also overthinked things bcs obviously the alliance mates weren't bad at all , it's kind of like I grown needy and it affected me the worst way possible. Well if any of you reading this from ship2 and got involved with my bullshit , and my mental issues I am sorry! And well I know at the end of the day these are just words and I understand if it's being perceived as that. My acts most of the time were purely out of confusion bcs I didn't understood these correlations to my own private life and I felt like it's being messed with my mind. Bcs someone kept stalking into my life and I were using this AI chat to talk , sometimes vent to it even and at times I started to see weird collerations from players etc. Honestly that is the whole story to it.
U hear about the 2 times half the alliance left? I was there for that... April 2021 or so... Too many people had bad experiences.. We also said we wish he would grow up
April 2021 would've been on base PSO2, which I did not play Global side. NGS released in June or July of that year, which is when I started playing. I believe I joined the alliance in December or November of that year (2021). While I haven't heard (or recall hearing, anyway) that specific occurrence you're referring to, I'm definitely not surprised by it, as I'd seen similar occurrences happen throughout the years; All generally stimming around those same reasons (bad experiences, and the want for him to grow up. Which he naturally, refuses to do). Of course, he'd often try to undermine anyone who left on such terms, in an attempt to void them of creditability and allow himself to play the victim role. I'd often reach out and ask the individual(s) what happened from their point of view, so that I was able to obtain both sides of the stories and reach my own informed conclusion.
Well I've always knew there was something sketchy or wishy washy sometimes there with KFC but oh well it seems like it was eventually just become another case of "Oh that happened i guess" and it just simmered down. Hopefully you find solace for choosing your path eh.
I was as patient as I could be. Did what I could to try to address the issue over years & allow for growth. Years. Every time it felt like "oh hey, we're making progress", I quickly realized that nothing had actually changed. At a point I started to actually pay attention, & realized I was dealing with full blown narcissistic behavior. This was a decision that took a long time to decide on. And I had exhausted every avenue as to this not being the outcome. This was and is the correct decision to make, and I have absolutely zero regrets about it.

Ultimately any alliance of group that has a foundational value built on this type of behavior, is always going to be doomed to fail. It's never a matter of if, but a matter of when. The true nature will always be revealed in due time. Toxicity is so heavily praised in today's society (I think we're starting to slowly see a reverse though which is good), and people are raised on the internet, never knowing accountability for their actions. So you end up getting the stuff that we've been plagued with, in this regard.
I've been playing since a little before global launch of base and I guess im just blind to this stuff. I have put well over a thousand hours into this game and tend to just enjoy my fashion and chase the endgame gearing. I watch many content creators of this game and interact with players here and there but I just don't go out of my way to make connections with people primarily because of my anxiety and in cases like this I guess im grateful to not have to see this side of the community. At times I want to reach out and find a home with people in this game, but this kind of behavior and finding weirdos makes me wary.
Hello! The thing is that there are a lot of great people in the game. But the issue is that while they are the minority, there is a very vocal minority that goes out of their way to make the experience of others as bad as possible. In short, there's people who essentially use the game as a place to negatively project their insecurities on others and/or trauma dump. Unfortunately, these people are often the most vocal. The average person is just getting on to play & enjoy a video game. So you see these more vocal bad actors much more front & center, even though they are not the majority by even the slightest. However, they influence a lot of people and influence a lot of negative behavior, because they are what's being seen. Especially by unsuspecting newcomers. Global has and has always had an issue wit this unfortunately. But don't let it scare you. The big thing is just be cautious as to who you're dealing with and the people you surround yourself with. Definitely understand when it's time to leave and/or otherwise cut ties with people.
I've heard nothing but bad things about KFC. There were two officers I used to know personally that mentioned some of the shit he would allow, up to including letting some of his unsavory members do shit like send dick pics to female members. The man is lower than excrement on a boot.
It's definitely possible. He has characters on other ships. If the individual you encounter has historically tended to be very disruptive in the community, I'd say it's strongly likely. Even moreso likely if the individual is very disruptive, and leads an alliance of a large size over there. Definitely something to keep an eye out for, if these behaviors are exhibited. So that communities come together and shut this sort of stuff down before it infects their entire ship.
@@Spikesxu KFC once told me the Colonel Sanders in ship 4 is a totally different person and ppl mistook them quite often, but yeah do take this with a bag of salt
@@TakoCaster Yea, I definitely wouldn't be quick to take his word for it. Because naturally he's going to tell you whatever is necessary to allow himself to weasel around (aka lies). If the behavior and criteria line up. Aka, if the shoe fits, then there's definitely a good chance or at least strong reason to approach and view with caution.

I'm from Ship 1 but run All Ship Challenge mode often. I've played with Ship 4 Colonel Sanders and they are super chill, nice and always very helpful. Nothing like Ship 1 KFC.
It's a situation that has both directly and indirectly effected hundreds of people. Also considering that the situation involved someone who was previously an NGS OCC, it impacts everyone on all ships, as the creators exist across the board.

It's likely because he always finds ways to weasel around, divert attention off himself, manipulate, etc, and then of course, newer players join the game and the cycle continues. Without anyone ever having actually publicly addressed things. Which is why it was definitely vital to do so here.

Yea, he has publicly boasted in the past how he was, "the most toxic player in all of base". He does a good job at lying, manipulating, gaslighting, and otherwise twisting narratives though to attempt to downplay the things he does. All you have to do is just pay attention though, and it shows itself. He will try to do everything behind closed doors. I realized this was an issue, which is why I started to make everything public. Every interaction with him HAS to be public. Any time I had a conversation with him, I made sure other people were aware of it and got copies of the entire conversation. The way he works is that he'll seclude you from others, which allows the ability to create whatever narrative and coerce you into hearing or being treated in a way that he wants to treat you, in order to get you to believe him/do what he wants you to do.

Those who know me understand who and what I am.... Anyone who chooses to believe the lies they told... that's up to them... but back then it drove me to a breakdown... @@Spikesxu I'm pretty far from Best in Slot, I pickup UQ sometimes with some randoms from Best but that's about it. I remember seeing him around Covid but, you know, never actively went looking for the guy.
I've never interacted with KFC but saw them several times on highly populated lobbies slandering and fighting people, always trying to make them look like the best. It's a pity you had such a terrible experience and much more so when you invested time and probably emotion for so long on that Alliance. Surely better things are coming for you now that you chose to stand up and talk about it. :)
This is 100% staple KFC behavior that most everyone can attest to. Thank you for your kind words Aiyana. I don't regret any of it. I think I still made a great impact within the alliance, and I was able to but a heavy stamp on it compared to what it was when I got there. There will 100% be better things coming for me. As I feel a sense of clarity and happiness by removing myself from an environment so heavily rooted in narcissism, manipulation and toxic enabling.
Over 2 years in bis Looking back on it there was some iffy stuff like the 2nd twitter drama and the uber thing I just pushed it out of the way because KFC was such a chill dude in my eyes and I had friends in bis. bis was kind of my home for a while but I've moved on to greener pastures and even though I'm no longer a member of bis I'm giving a lot of charitably too KFC probably because bis was good to me as a whole, like the account sharing thing you mentioned was really a nothing burger people share accounts all the time between friends and I always thought the toxic behavior on gear and stuff was always a bit and he wasn't being serious. I'm kind of a little toxic myself probably (try not to be) so probably why a lot of things fly over my head. Really have no ill will towards anyone hope you move into better places spikes you probably don't remember me but we chatted on some occasions .

The drama is weird on this game. Got caught up in mess myself for being "an officer" and playing with someone i know irl who always played with me everyday. You talk to some people and they twist words around to make you the bad guy. Glad the leaders of the alliance i was in cleared my name and got rid of the negative people. Anyway I'm in another alliance but I fly solo or play with people I know irl. No drama in that
Drama in this game normally stems around one thing. Toxicity. There's a lot of toxic people in the game. And just like irl, if you're toxic, you're going to garner the wrong type of attention. As such, drama is going to be constantly stirred up around you. Narcissistic behavior is in every part and extension of life, going to eventually bring one, dismay. One can only gaslight, manipulate, belittle, and use others so much before the whole thing implodes. Playing with people you know definitely helps to avoid that type of drama, considering of course, that they're not involved in that type of toxic behavior as well. Which in turn, will bring that drama to your doorstep.

Something about people hiding behind screens and layers of anonymity really makes them do and be horrible people in today's world. I live grounded in the real world, so I just see the internet as an extension of my normal self. The same principles, the same values. I'm not gonna talk crazy to someone, not going to go ruin someone's experience or bully people. etc etc. Just one account and keeping it 100. Unfortunately, we live in this world, specifically western, where too many people are not familiar with accountability. And because of this lack of accountability, they're allowed to ruin so many people virtually unchecked. People need to stand up and stand together to combat these behaviors. Which, fortunately, I believe the world is starting to slowly do. Which I am 100% all for. EDIT: TLDR. There are way too many fake people and bad actors who need to be held accountable.

As a ship 3 main user I have seen the best go to the worst real quick but I'd still stay in one though but that being a dead empty alliance though, knowing what I have to do monthly to get that dough being beta reactors 😅👌 it's tough like a real job almost, you don't like the way things are but you still get paid still later on so what the heck... Ahem, so after seeing how naive, silly, mischievous, misunderstanding, judgemental, and very judgemental some groups are on there, not to mention how very dead & empty some alliances are or would feel on there when I would come to join them (several months ago I had a head start at seeing how bad or the true colors of these alliances were like before they had switched up on this new management thingy) they just were never that helpful to me as a new player coming up back at the time nor was as "Nice" as some claimed to be on there title openings like the beloved stars allaince... Those deceiving motha... Ugh, I just hate when people do that like honestly how can you promote your alliance or group to be "loving, respectful, chill," but seems more like chill free since IG it's just promoted more towards a certain demographic of people gender wise... I find it cringe honestly and personally but anyways yeah it's crazy when they say all that right civil standard or positive crap and stuff to get someone in you know? To grab one's attention and get them into there group but once you're in it they literally deflate you, devalue you, or just literally do the opposite of lifting you up, they put you down immediately, "not gonna lie I only picked you because I saw that name tag you had" from the alliances I've been to or just like bruh so uptight just because of what they believe in personally when I'm just trying to enjoy a game... You know, a game that's a video game that has all sorts of trinkets in it and whatnot but umm yeah no, I feel like a lot of normies, uncultured, and sheltered people play this game bruh, honestly and no offence either by the way but after my best bud who was just like me use to play the game a lot, they still do but doesn't talk to me much anymore after deciding to stay in that said alliance (evolution) wise I have then or since then looked down upon all alliances and just very much hate everybody in game not gonna lie to you bruh... Oh yeah and what I had meant to say here originally is that some of my friends and the people that played with me on there weren't always the way they are now and were pretty chill until they started joining random allainces... It's the allainces in game that had changed them in my opinion from my experience, it's weird and petty because nothing like that of a game alone with dumb people in it aren't changing me on anything, I'm here to play the game and have fun and that's it really otherwise there would be no point in doing anything in these passive aggressive cultlike groups.
I’ve heard a lot of nasty things about BIS. The hardcore players tend to be not so nice people. They expect you to always have the best gear, dodge everything, counter perfectly, and never take a hit. That’s not realistic. There’s plenty of people who struggle, or aren’t perfect. I’ve had people get mad at me because I don’t dodge perfectly.
So the thing is, historically the best players in there weren't really like that. It was the vocal minority who were like that. But those vocal minorities, normally held high positions (officers, etc) in the alliance. But from the top down, (kfc) it was like that. KFC promoted and pushed this type of rhetoric and behavior. There were times in the past where he would full blown berate and talk down on his own members for using a single augment. The root of the system is him, and everything else is pretty much silenced. And trying to hold him accountable doesn't work because he's the leader. So until the root is able to be addressed, ultimately nothing changes. It's definitely gotten better, but it's still very much there.
@@Spikesxu Sounds like he made people afraid to go against him. I'm dealing with different issues. Someone who doesn't understand I don't have the same skill level as everyone else. It's still toxic, though. Hopefully more people will get the message, and leave. Perhaps KFC will understand that alone, he can only do so much when everyone leaves BIS. My belief is that we should all create a community that's got each other's backs, rather than a community that throws the noobs in the water, and expects them to swim, or gets angry when someone struggles to augment, or dodge. I'm lucky to have someone helping me augment my gear in base game. Upslotting, and all this stuff is so confusing, it makes my head spin. I can't get a grip on it.

But the average person gets caught in it and they end up losing their voice. Which is sad to see. That being said, definitely don't get your hopes up for KFC learning anything from this. Because he won't. lol. It'll be downplayed, he'll likely try to the best of his ability to twist and manipulate the narrative. Then he'll tell everyone, "Spike is crazy", followed by a slew of lies and things people want to hear, to bring himself back into good graces. In regards to the issue you're dealing with, I completely agree. Too much of the community tries to put down people. Especially newer players. Instead of just bashing people who may not have the top gear set or play style, make an attempt to teach them or tell them where they can improve. Sometimes I'll be running PUG (Public Group) Dark Falz Dalion R2, and I'll get paired with someone who is heavily under geared and there's no way that we'll be able to clear with that current gear on (under leveled weapon, free armor with all 3 having mostly the lc augs on it. Having blank augment slots, etc). I'll kindly explain this to them so that they're aware that they need to try to gear a bit for that specific content in particular. There's no reason to be hostile or berate them, however. That achieves nothing and just creates for an unenjoyable playing experience. The whole reason why I actually started making PSO2 NGS UA-cam content was for the exact type of things you deal with. I realized that there were a lot of confusing aspects in the game, that were poorly explained within the game itself. So I figured, if I'm getting confused by this stuff, surely other people are. So I started to make UA-cam videos to help people better understand things in the game. This has always been the basis of my videos. To inform and provide the tools necessary to make informed decisions.
@@Spikesxu I struggle getting better gear, since it is pretty expensive to upgrade, upwards of over 20mil, which takes me a long time to earn again. Having shop passes helps, but there's not a lot for me to sell, given I suck at duels, grind slow, and rarely get sell worthy items. The F2P loop when you're depressed takes even longer, since I've found out that depression screws with your skill.
@@beanmchocolate3900 I think that the upcoming month will heavily benefit you. Lots of boost events, enhancement boosts, ways to make meseta, seasonal shops, events that will drop things that you can sell, etc, etc, should really help you out. So do be sure to look forward to and take advantage of the options! Naturally, we'll cover a lot of those things here when the time arrives!

I definitely understand that and I think that his extremely close proximity with the individual in question here heavily impacted him likely more than anyone. And I brought this up numerous of times and even spoke to him directly before about it. I think he's gotten much better though in comparison to what for a while became the 'norm'. So I was always glad to see the progress.

I saw that behavior a lot and it's extremely off putting and created for a very walk-on-nails type environment. The outlashes were often way over the top and for no reason. Eventually it got to a point where I talked to him about it because for some reason he had an impression that I cared about how good his gear was and would make fun of him and belittle/berate him for it if it wasn't up to the absolute highest standard? At this point I realized just how heavily influenced he had been by kfc. Because that's literally never been the type of behavior I exhibit. But we do see that from someone else. He's likely suffered the worst of it due to his long term and close proximity. I had seen lesser of it within the last couple months. But that may also just be because there's been less play time/slower upgrades recently.

I was in BIS when this tool was a member and his behaviour was just as bad as KFC. He was right there to gaslight the hell outta ppl, cancel ppl, harass ppl... He's a total HYPOCRITE. He was constantly on KFCs nut just waiting to do his bidding.
Ah yes good old drama. Literally just get on to fashion and troll lol. Iv had my fair share of kfc drama although it was because of the trolling aspect and not alliance drama. I was close to most ship 1 alliances back then since early base game bc most people on ship 1 know who i am. The game just sucks now which is sad.
Indeed alliances are a great social hub!. They also provide nice benefits as well. But most definitely in comparison to other more traditional MMORPGs, they (NGS Alliances) have a heavy emphasis on the social value.
I mean, I don't think narcissism would somehow be more readily apparent in a PVP game. The deciding factor is really, is the game a community game or not. Narcissism is able to thrive by the ability of interacting over extended periods with the same individuals. PVP or PVE makes no difference. What matters is that there's unsuspecting people for the individual to take advantage of and/or try to sell their heightened image of themselves to. Which is going to more readily present itself in an environment where the individual is able to be very social with individuals. Especially when said environments allow for closed-door conversations. Narcissists love the internet in general, because the internet allows them to hide behind layers, as well as cower and hide in fear whenever things do not go their way.

I think the whole market thing is a bigger widespread issue. It's definitely usually a certain group of people on specific items, and yes I know for a fact that he partakes in manipulating the market with certain items. But the market is massive and there are many players who manipulate different parts of the markets. So you can't really pin point that on one individual. I do agree it's bad practice, however.
The thing that is hilarious about and the toxic elitism players and teams is that they need to wake up and look at the game they are playing NGS is one of the most casual mmo's that exists, that does not does not mean the content is bad, but the tone and format of the game is far more chill than FFXIV endgame raiding, at least when I see elitism in that area in FFXIV it makes more sense even if I do not agree with it. Just remember these are grown adults who act like children then laugh shrug it off and distance yourself. I've been aware of there are people are a few people like KFC in global. If there are any on JP there are none in ship 2 anymore. I've had many experiences with all kinds of teams and people the positive take from this sitution is that your mature enough to finally leave the team which is the 1st process of moving on and detaching yourself from the toxicity that will have had some impact on your mental state and enjoyment of the game enough to not be influenced bv problematic people and think for yourself. My only advice is to cut all ties and do your best to erase their existence from your mind and focus on yourself and your goals in game. Moving on will take time. I still feel a fleeting fuck you guys moment at the only 3 people in JP(NGS) that made me hit a low point when I see anyone with the team name. That team is now mostly dead on JP so not very often and I never blame the team it justs a reminder of the pointless abuse I had to deal with for a month because they where showing clear signs of burnout and I became their outlet. I'm pretty sure those 3 have quit and I came back stronger and even more level headed and logical than I was before, hopefully your end result is the same.

I think the saddest thing is that most people find themselves in these situations and they're not brave enough or they become too scared to leave these environments. I think that was part of the reason why I stayed around for so long. Because I was invested in the alliance, and it felt like if I left, I'd be leaving everyone to the wolves. Because I was the only person who had absolutely no problem being outspoken against KFC's antics. But ultimately yea, it gets to a point where it's just simply not worth it. I'm glad to be gone from it. I put a lot of thought into the decision. So when it was made, I was already 100% that it was the correct thing to do. And I immediately felt a feeling of freedom. There's definitely no regrets. Only peace and a clear mind. Those types of people (such as the ones you experienced, and kfc-types) will always get what's coming to them. These are individuals that are not meant to last in terms of longevity. Only in terms of short bursts where they have the opportunity to manipulate. I'm glad that you too, were able to move on from such an experience and I'm glad to hear that you're stronger for it. You don't often hear of things to that degree on JP side. Unless of course the people you're referring to, were not JP players, but english/foreign players? Which of course makes sense. JP side of games tend to operate much differently in this regard. Which is largely due to cultural differences and societal norms between Japan and the west. So while there's definitely a standard, rarely do you see something on the level of what you experienced. Where they come after you and attack you.
@@Spikesxu it's all good it was indeed english/foreign players but I did the same thing you did and just decided this is not worth my time and left, if this is continues the downfall of this team is inevitable. At least problem I had to deal with is more cookie cutter. The KFC guy is a much more complex and fucked up person/issues.I'd have to meet him... I'd rather not, but I am very good at analysing people but even with the information and an understanding of who he is after Cross analysis the only person who can fix themselves is themselves, especially people like KFC who will just dig deeper and deflect and blame anything but themselves. There are many reasons for the behaviour, he has a position of power and far to many people fear losing it once they have it but that is just one reason.

I don't know what it is with PSO2 and people with serious mental illnesses. I wish the community was by majority mentally sound. Its a shame because the game being as fun as it is doesn't deserve to be plagued by crap like this. FFXIV is like this to some degree too, depending where you look/end up.

It's not that I was trying to "save" the individual. It's that I was invested in the alliance. So, because I cared about (most) the people in the alliance, I stayed there. Moreso to assist with alliance, not with the individual. As, I've had the individual blocked for almost a year now. The issue was that the thing that was the issue, was the root of the alliance. It wasn't apparent on the surface at first that I was dealing with a full blown narcissist, naturally.
But yes, in general, once you realize that you're dealing with a narcissist, you should always remove yourself from their presence. The longer you wait, the harder it is to do so or worse it is. This applies x1000 more so in real life, as well. If you start to see those behaviors and characteristics, you find a way to get out. And you do it as quickly as possible. If they're able to sink their claws too deep into you, you'll find yourself in a perpetual cycle of gaslighting, manipulation, and toxicity that makes it close to impossible to escape for an unfortunate many.

Your damage calculator is a gem for the community, thank you so much for it. I think if you made videos breaking down the damage calculations for things often listing out explanations for meta gear as well budget options etc it would be super popular and help you get into the creator program if that's a goal. The calculator can be very overwhelming so seeing it explained in video form would be good content.

Leader on Ship 2 JP here. I’ve always found behavior like this over the years from people in leadership positions to be so ridiculous when you have a certain degree of “influence”. Unfortunately it’s something that happens in our community a lot though. But it does show a distinct lack of moderation for situations that occur in-game and out of game.
Absolutely. I don't want to sound cliché, but, "with great power, comes great responsibility". Unfortunately, sometimes people use such roles/positions to take advantage of people or otherwise, do whatever they want to do without consequence, in the worst type of ways. Which is not right.

Toxicity is so glorified in today's society, that it creates this environment where we get these types of things and individuals. People are held without accountability or responsibility for their actions. My whole thing is keeping it real and keeping it 100. Who I am on the internet, is just an extension of who I am in real life. I'm not playing some role or hiding behind this or that. So I treat it as such. If something such as this needs to be brought to light in order to hold people accountable and create a better experience for everyone. Best believe, I'm gladly addressing it. I had my own personal experience with KFC on base when he was starting his alliance. Bro asked me to join and I told him no. He felt some type of way and got me kicked out of three alliances. Spreading lies and rumors. Bro is just weird asf. He would randomly be sitting in my room off base. Shit just creeped me out. I stopped playing for over a year when NGS came out.
This is standard behavior from him. And standard of a narcissist. He will spread lies, he will spread rumors. He will go out of his way to manipulate, gaslight, downplay, and otherwise berate people who do not do as he wants. I'm sorry you had to experience this, however do understand that you're one of hundreds if not thousands who have similar stories pertaining to him. So you're not alone in that regard.

Nothing inherently wrong with joining a large alliance. Big thing is just to be cautious of the people you surround yourself with. Most alliances are not deeply rooted in narcissim and bad practices. This is largely a one off, that specifically revolves around the fact that the individual who runs said alliance, whom happens to be a narcissist of substantial proportions, is the root of the whole system. As thus, poisoning the whole pool. This is a worst-case scenario that's unlikely to repeat itself on such a grand scale, outside of said ecosystem (ecosystem can include deep associates that exist outside of direct alliance). So definitely do not let it deter you. The biggest thing is that when you recognize the behavior, do not allow it to set foot, and publicly hold people accountable.

I remember in base pso2 to pso2ngs, I was a guild leader to and from (Honors, Meiyokishi, Team Happy, Lunaneer) - also didn't have positive experiences with BiS , that's crazy tho... Good thing I never joined them, nice to see an inside scoop tho, ty - now I'm a member of Ship 1 guild called OP (for ~2 yrs now), been pretty chill, and overall good players both skillwise and personality

I worked with Uber to bring a fair amount of this shit to light on bird app a year ago and god, he literally just wrote it off as drama and stalking it was insane.
Yea it's a mechanism I've seen time & time again. It's a staple narcissistic quality that's meant to do and say everything to avoid accountability. Derail, downplay, flip the narrative, invalidate, play the victim. etc etc. These are all things I've seen in heavy doses.

Welcome, Ship 3! Alliances definitely can enhance your gaming experience. And can be great. But indeed, the biggest take away here is to definitely just be cautious of the people you surround yourself with and what their true intentions may be.
Ship1 is bad especially on the aelio block people were spreading hate speeches and racist things whole day. I couldn't stay longer there glad I moved to ship2 long time before
Ship 1 Aelio City (Whichever is the most populated Aelio block is generally how it works. Usually it's 1, but as of late has been 3.) is so bad on disproportional levels. It has cleaned up greatly, as I have continue to speak on it & address it in videos and on stream. Which is very good. But the "norm" there in public/area chat has historically been absolutely astonishingly wild, with the things people will say and do.
Doesn't matter the ship. If you want to keep your sanity, leave the block you spawn in asap.

I was also apart of BIS and the way it is ran? Wasn’t what i was looking for.. i was planning to leave regardless but was booted out instead (that worked out for me) for unknown reasons. But then was asked to join back 🤷♂️(they still send me invites).
Playing solo with randoms is more fun to me, instead of dealing with who in the alliance to party up with.. my player name is [ ], so I’m sure you have seen me around (since i was also around that time and that i have recently done a few UQ with you).
The way recruitment is done, is largely just blind invites, as well as of course in-game applications. There's multiple branches of the alliance, but it's all very much just corporate-type funneling.

Great points! Most definitely, the disrespect for no reason and going out one's way to berate or otherwise ruin the experience of others, is and has always been wild to me. They spend so much time and energy on constantly bringing others down, because they themselves have undealt with trauma that they're projecting on others. And it's just as you said in that people who act like this at work or in video games are trying to overcompensate for a lack of something. This is always the case, and is projected onto others.
In regards to the purples, most definitely! lol. It can be fun/I enjoy to help random newer players with clears and getting the n master cubes and such. There's plenty of great active alliance options out there that do not face this issue, though of course many exist with unique issues of their own (like dudes arguing over their shirtless pics lmao). @@Spikesxu he pretended to be my friend and at first he was nice to me but over time i noticed a dark vail around him and he would spend time arguing with people in the lobby over political views and the final straw was my first fashion show where i had stage fright and as soon as he saw me he made it known how disgusted he felt looking at me and ghosted the rest of the judges. i felt like i could not say anything because of the people that defended him and did not know how to handle it so after a few days i decided to abandon my character on ship 1 and make a new character on ship 3 and iv never felt better it took some time but im in an alliance where im happy and have an upcoming gig as the photographer for an upcoming fashion show. thank you for sharing more people need to know the true nature of KFC

And as mentioned in the video, that's how it generally works. The individual will appear very welcoming but you quickly start to notice inconsistencies and the layers a pulled back. You then realize that they were just using you for personal gain. I am very glad that you are having a much more enjoyable experience now where you are at, and I hope that, that experience stays on that level of enjoyability!

Definitely do whatever you feel is best for you in that regard. That is always the intention of everything I do, to inform and provide you the tools to make informed decisions. My hope in telling this story and the reasoning behind it is so that this behavior is held accountable (which it still likely won't be. He'll find ways to weasel out of it). And so that the likely hundreds of players who have negatively been effected by these antics, finally have a voice, when they likely have felt silenced.

Im actually glad you spoke on it rather letting them silence yu or allowing one persons toxicity ruin what yu enjoy. TBH your the main one i liked from BiS, and the only content creator i knew from them. Ive seen KFC with the ngs content creator badge but never seen his content. I used attend every ship 1 party n support alotta of our content creators n djs. This was the main way i ever ran into KFC but from my experience he would always be tryna get his ego stroked or steal the spotlight for bit then dip. It was annoying because most ppl were there to support who evers bday it was or the dj so i'd jus avoid him n his click lol So it doesn't surprise me to see his narcissism in full display. I dealt with some of my own drama on ship 1 a few months back and my only advice to yu is jus watch out for the fakes. Alot of alliance leaders and known members all talk, network with each other and have alt accounts in other alliances (thats why i dnt fw no one anymore). These days i mostly keep up with kero and your vids, so keep up the great work, your accomplishments are your own and your an amazing content creator 🖤🖤🖤

That's honestly far more patience than I would have had in that situation I've left alliances for less. I play on each ship and run my own alliance on ship 2, I used to be part of Black Rose on ship 1 whose leader got on my nerve because I told him that I ran my own alliance but acted as if I was supposed to care about Black Rose more. I was part of that alliance for 3 weeks and the final week the guy noticed that Black Rose wasn't in a position to get silver so he spammed alliance chat with "DO YOUR ALLIANCE TASKS" for over a minute which got me to leave
I'm generally (obviously as seen by this situation) a pretty patient man. I will give opportunities and create dialogue so that things are understood, before acting on them. The fact of the matter is that I cared a lot for the people in the alliance, so I surely let it play out for longer than I otherwise likely would've.
And in regards to your story, oof yea that doesn't sound like an enjoyable experience. I can see how that would be conflicting how you had your own alliance to run, and the leader of that one wanted you to only focus on their alliance.

As a player on hiatus I always mentally prepare what comes my way when I start up NGS and all the fuck shit it offered in the past. My only experiences with best in slot was when they tried to recruit me after i separated from a two faced, two timing back stabber who wanted to be famous, hopping from one alliance to another. I declined their offer and dodged a bullet. KFC on the other hand, I would see this guy around aelio and his other character colonel in the past. When it comes to online games, The community.... Is like Pandora's box. Protect your mental, your peace, and stay sucker free, it's a lot of them running around NGS🤦🏾♂️

But I feel like I also overthinked things bcs obviously the alliance mates weren't bad at all , it's kind of like I grown needy and it affected me the worst way possible. Well if any of you reading this from ship2 and got involved with my bullshit , and my mental issues I am sorry! And well I know at the end of the day these are just words and I understand if it's being perceived as that. My acts most of the time were purely out of confusion bcs I didn't understood these correlations to my own private life and I felt like it's being messed with my mind. U hear about the 2 times half the alliance left? I was there for that... April 2021 or so... Too many people had bad experiences.. We also said we wish he would grow up
April 2021 would've been on base PSO2, which I did not play Global side. NGS released in June or July of that year, which is when I started playing. I believe I joined the alliance in December or November of that year (2021). While I haven't heard (or recall hearing, anyway) that specific occurrence you're referring to, I'm definitely not surprised by it, as I'd seen similar occurrences happen throughout the years; All generally stimming around those same reasons (bad experiences, and the want for him to grow up. Which he naturally, refuses to do).
Of course, he'd often try to undermine anyone who left on such terms, in an attempt to void them of creditability and allow himself to play the victim role. I'd often reach out and ask the individual(s) what happened from their point of view, so that I was able to obtain both sides of the stories and reach my own informed conclusion.
Well I've always knew there was something sketchy or wishy washy sometimes there with KFC but oh well it seems like it was eventually just become another case of "Oh that happened i guess" and it just simmered down. Hopefully you find solace for choosing your path eh.
I was as patient as I could be. Did what I could to try to address the issue over years & allow for growth. Years. Every time it felt like "oh hey, we're making progress", I quickly realized that nothing had actually changed. At a point I started to actually pay attention, & realized I was dealing with full blown narcissistic behavior. This was a decision that took a long time to decide on. And I had exhausted every avenue as to this not being the outcome. This was and is the correct decision to make, and I have absolutely zero regrets about it.

Ultimately any alliance of group that has a foundational value built on this type of behavior, is always going to be doomed to fail. It's never a matter of if, but a matter of when.
The true nature will always be revealed in due time.
Toxicity is so heavily praised in today's society (I think we're starting to slowly see a reverse though which is good), and people are raised on the internet, never knowing accountability for their actions. So you end up getting the stuff that we've been plagued with, in this regard.
Why i avoid Alliances and people in-game all together. Ill do the cooperative content and thats it.

I've been playing since a little before global launch of base and I guess im just blind to this stuff. I have put well over a thousand hours into this game and tend to just enjoy my fashion and chase the endgame gearing. I watch many content creators of this game and interact with players here and there but I just don't go out of my way to make connections with people primarily because of my anxiety and in cases like this I guess im grateful to not have to see this side of the community. At times I want to reach out and find a home with people in this game, but this kind of behavior and finding weirdos makes me wary.
Hello! The thing is that there are a lot of great people in the game. But the issue is that while they are the minority, there is a very vocal minority that goes out of their way to make the experience of others as bad as possible. In short, there's people who essentially use the game as a place to negatively project their insecurities on others and/or trauma dump. Unfortunately, these people are often the most vocal. The average person is just getting on to play & enjoy a video game. So you see these more vocal bad actors much more front & center, even though they are not the majority by even the slightest. However, they influence a lot of people and influence a lot of negative behavior, because they are what's being seen. Especially by unsuspecting newcomers.
Global has and has always had an issue wit this unfortunately. But don't let it scare you. The big thing is just be cautious as to who you're dealing with and the people you surround yourself with. Definitely understand when it's time to leave and/or otherwise cut ties with people.
I've heard nothing but bad things about KFC. There were two officers I used to know personally that mentioned some of the shit he would allow, up to including letting some of his unsavory members do shit like send dick pics to female members. The man is lower than excrement on a boot.

It's definitely possible. He has characters on other ships. If the individual you encounter has historically tended to be very disruptive in the community, I'd say it's strongly likely. Even moreso likely if the individual is very disruptive, and leads an alliance of a large size over there. Definitely something to keep an eye out for, if these behaviors are exhibited. So that communities come together and shut this sort of stuff down before it infects their entire ship.

@@TakoCaster Yea, I definitely wouldn't be quick to take his word for it. Because naturally he's going to tell you whatever is necessary to allow himself to weasel around (aka lies). If the behavior and criteria line up. Aka, if the shoe fits, then there's definitely a good chance or at least strong reason to approach and view with caution.

I'm from Ship 1 but run All Ship Challenge mode often. I've played with Ship 4 Colonel Sanders and they are super chill, nice and always very helpful. Nothing like Ship 1 KFC.

It's a situation that has both directly and indirectly effected hundreds of people. Also considering that the situation involved someone who was previously an NGS OCC, it impacts everyone on all ships, as the creators exist across the board.

It's likely because he always finds ways to weasel around, divert attention off himself, manipulate, etc, and then of course, newer players join the game and the cycle continues. Without anyone ever having actually publicly addressed things. Which is why it was definitely vital to do so here.

Yea, he has publicly boasted in the past how he was, "the most toxic player in all of base". He does a good job at lying, manipulating, gaslighting, and otherwise twisting narratives though to attempt to downplay the things he does. All you have to do is just pay attention though, and it shows itself. He will try to do everything behind closed doors. I realized this was an issue, which is why I started to make everything public. Every interaction with him HAS to be public. Any time I had a conversation with him, I made sure other people were aware of it and got copies of the entire conversation. The way he works is that he'll seclude you from others, which allows the ability to create whatever narrative and coerce you into hearing or being treated in a way that he wants to treat you, in order to get you to believe him/do what he wants you to do.

Those who know me understand who and what I am.... Anyone who chooses to believe the lies they told... that's up to them... but back then it drove me to a breakdown... I've never interacted with KFC but saw them several times on highly populated lobbies slandering and fighting people, always trying to make them look like the best. It's a pity you had such a terrible experience and much more so when you invested time and probably emotion for so long on that Alliance. I think I still made a great impact within the alliance, and I was able to but a heavy stamp on it compared to what it was when I got there. There will 100% be better things coming for me. As I feel a sense of clarity and happiness by removing myself from an environment so heavily rooted in narcissism, manipulation and toxic enabling.
Over 2 years in bis Looking back on it there was some iffy stuff like the 2nd twitter drama and the uber thing I just pushed it out of the way because KFC was such a chill dude in my eyes and I had friends in bis. bis was kind of my home for a while but I've moved on to greener pastures and even though I'm no longer a member of bis I'm giving a lot of charitably too KFC probably because bis was good to me as a whole, like the account sharing thing you mentioned was really a nothing burger people share accounts all the time between friends and I always thought the toxic behavior on gear and stuff was always a bit and he wasn't being serious. I'm kind of a little toxic myself probably (try not to be) so probably why a lot of things fly over my head. Really have no ill will towards anyone hope you move into better places spikes you probably don't remember me but we chatted on some occasions .

The drama is weird on this game. Got caught up in mess myself for being "an officer" and playing with someone i know irl who always played with me everyday. You talk to some people and they twist words around to make you the bad guy. Glad the leaders of the alliance i was in cleared my name and got rid of the negative people. Anyway I'm in another alliance but I fly solo or play with people I know irl. No drama in that
Drama in this game normally stems around one thing. Toxicity. There's a lot of toxic people in the game. And just like irl, if you're toxic, you're going to garner the wrong type of attention. As such, drama is going to be constantly stirred up around you. Narcissistic behavior is in every part and extension of life, going to eventually bring one, dismay. One can only gaslight, manipulate, belittle, and use others so much before the whole thing implodes.
Playing with people you know definitely helps to avoid that type of drama, considering of course, that they're not involved in that type of toxic behavior as well. Which in turn, will bring that drama to your doorstep.
Ship 3 Leader: You are better off, there are people like that everywhere. Keep ya head up and don't let anyone ruin your gaming experience. 💯

Unfortunately, we live in this world, specifically western, where too many people are not familiar with accountability. And because of this lack of accountability, they're allowed to ruin so many people virtually unchecked. People need to stand up and stand together to combat these behaviors. Which, fortunately, I believe the world is starting to slowly do. Which I am 100% all for.

As a ship 3 main user I have seen the best go to the worst real quick but I'd still stay in one though but that being a dead empty alliance though, knowing what I have to do monthly to get that dough being beta reactors 😅👌 it's tough like a real job almost, you don't like the way things are but you still get paid still later on so what the heck... Ahem, so after seeing how naive, silly, mischievous, misunderstanding, judgemental, and very judgemental some groups are on there, not to mention how very dead & empty some alliances are or would feel on there when I would come to join them (several months ago I had a head start at seeing how bad or the true colors of these alliances were like before they had switched up on this new management thingy) they just were never that helpful to me as a new player coming up back at the time nor was as "Nice" as some claimed to be on there title openings like the beloved stars allaince... Those deceiving motha... Ugh, I just hate when people do that like honestly how can you promote your alliance or group to be "loving, respectful, chill," but seems more like chill free since IG it's just promoted more towards a certain demographic of people gender wise... I find it cringe honestly and personally but anyways yeah it's crazy when they say all that right civil standard or positive crap and stuff to get someone in you know? To grab one's attention and get them into there group but once you're in it they literally deflate you, devalue you, or just literally do the opposite of lifting you up, they put you down immediately, "not gonna lie I only picked you because I saw that name tag you had" from the alliances I've been to or just like bruh so uptight just because of what they believe in personally when I'm just trying to enjoy a game... You know, a game that's a video game that has all sorts of trinkets in it and whatnot but umm yeah no, I feel like a lot of normies, uncultured, and sheltered people play this game bruh, honestly and no offence either by the way but after my best bud who was just like me use to play the game a lot, they still do but doesn't talk to me much anymore after deciding to stay in that said alliance (evolution) wise I have then or since then looked down upon all alliances and just very much hate everybody in game not gonna lie to you bruh... It's even and pretty much equal for me now since they don't like me because of the type of clothes I wear in game, and I don't like them for simply not practicing what they preach, sickening me as the vile things they are truly speaks for themselves as a human being... I had and would for a long time never create myself in a video game or make myself specifically in a video game besides mii characters from Nintendo Wii because well most games just didn't have my preferred style in mind at all you know so I would just go on for a long time and normally make my OC's or other characters from different series I know like Guts from Berserk or Goku from DB if I could etc... And for a long time I had no problem with that at all until I foundna game like PSO2NGS over here along with Base PSO2 (PEAK IMO) and the customization is just phenomenally beyond what I had expected in a video game like this now... The last games I had fun creating characters in it a lot was SoulCalibur 6 mainly... Been trying to get more of my other friends to play it recently but I have had no luck unfortunately but it's all good though.

Oh yeah and what I had meant to say here originally is that some of my friends and the people that played with me on there weren't always the way they are now and were pretty chill until they started joining random allainces... It's the allainces in game that had changed them in my opinion from my experience, it's weird and petty because nothing like that of a game alone with dumb people in it aren't changing me on anything, I'm here to play the game and have fun and that's it really otherwise there would be no point in doing anything in these passive aggressive cultlike groups.
I’ve heard a lot of nasty things about BIS. The hardcore players tend to be not so nice people. They expect you to always have the best gear, dodge everything, counter perfectly, and never take a hit. That’s not realistic. There’s plenty of people who struggle, or aren’t perfect. I’ve had people get mad at me because I don’t dodge perfectly.
So the thing is, historically the best players in there weren't really like that. It was the vocal minority who were like that. But those vocal minorities, normally held high positions (officers, etc) in the alliance. But from the top down, (kfc) it was like that. KFC promoted and pushed this type of rhetoric and behavior. There were times in the past where he would full blown berate and talk down on his own members for using a single augment. The root of the system is him, and everything else is pretty much silenced. And trying to hold him accountable doesn't work because he's the leader. So until the root is able to be addressed, ultimately nothing changes. It's definitely gotten better, but it's still very much there.
@@Spikesxu Sounds like he made people afraid to go against him. I'm dealing with different issues. Someone who doesn't understand I don't have the same skill level as everyone else. It's still toxic, though. Hopefully more people will get the message, and leave. Perhaps KFC will understand that alone, he can only do so much when everyone leaves BIS. My belief is that we should all create a community that's got each other's backs, rather than a community that throws the noobs in the water, and expects them to swim, or gets angry when someone struggles to augment, or dodge. I'm lucky to have someone helping me augment my gear in base game. Upslotting, and all this stuff is so confusing, it makes my head spin. I can't get a grip on it.

But the average person gets caught in it and they end up losing their voice. Which is sad to see. That being said, definitely don't get your hopes up for KFC learning anything from this. Because he won't. lol. It'll be downplayed, he'll likely try to the best of his ability to twist and manipulate the narrative. Then he'll tell everyone, "Spike is crazy", followed by a slew of lies and things people want to hear, to bring himself back into good graces.
In regards to the issue you're dealing with, I completely agree. Too much of the community tries to put down people. Especially newer players. Instead of just bashing people who may not have the top gear set or play style, make an attempt to teach them or tell them where they can improve. Sometimes I'll be running PUG (Public Group) Dark Falz Dalion R2, and I'll get paired with someone who is heavily under geared and there's no way that we'll be able to clear with that current gear on (under leveled weapon, free armor with all 3 having mostly the lc augs on it. Having blank augment slots, etc). I'll kindly explain this to them so that they're aware that they need to try to gear a bit for that specific content in particular. There's no reason to be hostile or berate them, however. That achieves nothing and just creates for an unenjoyable playing experience.
The whole reason why I actually started making PSO2 NGS UA-cam content was for the exact type of things you deal with. I realized that there were a lot of confusing aspects in the game, that were poorly explained within the game itself. So I figured, if I'm getting confused by this stuff, surely other people are. So I started to make UA-cam videos to help people better understand things in the game. This has always been the basis of my videos. To inform and provide the tools necessary to make informed decisions.
@@Spikesxu I struggle getting better gear, since it is pretty expensive to upgrade, upwards of over 20mil, which takes me a long time to earn again. Having shop passes helps, but there's not a lot for me to sell, given I suck at duels, grind slow, and rarely get sell worthy items. The F2P loop when you're depressed takes even longer, since I've found out that depression screws with your skill.
@@beanmchocolate3900 I think that the upcoming month will heavily benefit you. Lots of boost events, enhancement boosts, ways to make meseta, seasonal shops, events that will drop things that you can sell, etc, etc, should really help you out. I definitely understand that and I think that his extremely close proximity with the individual in question here heavily impacted him likely more than anyone. And I brought this up numerous of times and even spoke to him directly before about it. I think he's gotten much better though in comparison to what for a while became the 'norm'. So I was always glad to see the progress.
@Spikesxu it's just that like you know how I am that like. I like to spend money in the game. And he kept on getting angry about it like you know, oh the next contents coming out it doesn't matter to you. Cause you're just going to straight out, buy anything.

@@iiDunzo_416 Yea I definitely hear you and you definitely have the right to express your frustration there. I saw that behavior a lot and it's extremely off putting and created for a very walk-on-nails type environment. The outlashes were often way over the top and for no reason. Eventually it got to a point where I talked to him about it because for some reason he had an impression that I cared about how good his gear was and would make fun of him and belittle/berate him for it if it wasn't up to the absolute highest standard? At this point I realized just how heavily influenced he had been by kfc. Because that's literally never been the type of behavior I exhibit. But we do see that from someone else. He's likely suffered the worst of it due to his long term and close proximity. I had seen lesser of it within the last couple months. But that may also just be because there's been less play time/slower upgrades recently.

but why is it when you accuse the dude there is no SS that proof the accusation? most of it just something that you said in the video , the few that seems to have SS as proof is the viewbot which probably just me being ignorant but considering the size of the alliance and how much KFC advertise his stream everytime he does it newer member will click and follow ( i know i did :v , but never actually watch cause i dont use twitch that much) , and the negligence of removing the NGS official creator

I was in BIS when this tool was a member and his behaviour was just as bad as KFC. He was right there to gaslight the hell outta ppl, cancel ppl, harass ppl... He's a total HYPOCRITE. He was constantly on KFCs nut just waiting to do his bidding.

Ah yes good old drama. Literally just get on to fashion and troll lol. Iv had my fair share of kfc drama although it was because of the trolling aspect and not alliance drama. I was close to most ship 1 alliances back then since early base game bc most people on ship 1 know who i am. The game just sucks now which is sad.
Ehh.. Alliances in PSO2:NGS are kind of just social atm. There's no content worthy of a guild.
Indeed alliances are a great social hub!. They also provide nice benefits as well. But most definitely in comparison to other more traditional MMORPGs, they (NGS Alliances) have a heavy emphasis on the social value.

I mean, I don't think narcissism would somehow be more readily apparent in a PVP game. The deciding factor is really, is the game a community game or not. Narcissism is able to thrive by the ability of interacting over extended periods with the same individuals. PVP or PVE makes no difference. What matters is that there's unsuspecting people for the individual to take advantage of and/or try to sell their heightened image of themselves to. Which is going to more readily present itself in an environment where the individual is able to be very social with individuals. Especially when said environments allow for closed-door conversations. Narcissists love the internet in general, because the internet allows them to hide behind layers, as well as cower and hide in fear whenever things do not go their way.
Lol i seen this player on ship 4 i only remember him bc his name and bc my alliance leader said hi. I thought his autochats were lame and repetitive so i blocked him lol i hate when players blow up my screen with their stupid autochats
Auto chat spam can definitely be a nuisance. And this individual does indeed have a lot of auto chats.
Please don't tell us the market also manipulated by those people I usually search the id before I buy and usually those names they are in the top alliances, that's stink ! Ship one prices are double than the ship two
I think the whole market thing is a bigger widespread issue. It's definitely usually a certain group of people on specific items, and yes I know for a fact that he partakes in manipulating the market with certain items. But the market is massive and there are many players who manipulate different parts of the markets. So you can't really pin point that on one individual. I do agree it's bad practice, however.
The game not even as popular as FFXIV but the community manage to be more toxic lol

The thing that is hilarious about and the toxic elitism players and teams is that they need to wake up and look at the game they are playing NGS is one of the most casual mmo's that exists, that does not does not mean the content is bad, but the tone and format of the game is far more chill than FFXIV endgame raiding, at least when I see elitism in that area in FFXIV it makes more sense even if I do not agree with it. Just remember these are grown adults who act like children then laugh shrug it off and distance yourself.
I've been aware of there are people are a few people like KFC in global. If there are any on JP there are none in ship 2 anymore. I've had many experiences with all kinds of teams and people the positive take from this sitution is that your mature enough to finally leave the team which is the 1st process of moving on and detaching yourself from the toxicity that will have had some impact on your mental state and enjoyment of the game enough to not be influenced bv problematic people and think for yourself. My only advice is to cut all ties and do your best to erase their existence from your mind and focus on yourself and your goals in game.
Moving on will take time. I still feel a fleeting fuck you guys moment at the only 3 people in JP(NGS) that made me hit a low point when I see anyone with the team name. That team is now mostly dead on JP so not very often and I never blame the team it justs a reminder of the pointless abuse I had to deal with for a month because they where showing clear signs of burnout and I became their outlet. I'm pretty sure those 3 have quit and I came back stronger and even more level headed and logical than I was before, hopefully your end result is the same.

I think the saddest thing is that most people find themselves in these situations and they're not brave enough or they become too scared to leave these environments. I think that was part of the reason why I stayed around for so long. Because I was invested in the alliance, and it felt like if I left, I'd be leaving everyone to the wolves. Because I was the only person who had absolutely no problem being outspoken against KFC's antics. But ultimately yea, it gets to a point where it's just simply not worth it. I'm glad to be gone from it. I put a lot of thought into the decision. So when it was made, I was already 100% that it was the correct thing to do. And I immediately felt a feeling of freedom. There's definitely no regrets. Only peace and a clear mind.
Those types of people (such as the ones you experienced, and kfc-types) will always get what's coming to them. These are individuals that are not meant to last in terms of longevity. Only in terms of short bursts where they have the opportunity to manipulate. I'm glad that you too, were able to move on from such an experience and I'm glad to hear that you're stronger for it. You don't often hear of things to that degree on JP side. Unless of course the people you're referring to, were not JP players, but english/foreign players? Which of course makes sense. JP side of games tend to operate much differently in this regard. Which is largely due to cultural differences and societal norms between Japan and the west. So while there's definitely a standard, rarely do you see something on the level of what you experienced. Where they come after you and attack you.
@@Spikesxu it's all good it was indeed english/foreign players but I did the same thing you did and just decided this is not worth my time and left, if this is continues the downfall of this team is inevitable. At least problem I had to deal with is more cookie cutter.
The KFC guy is a much more complex and fucked up person/issues.I'd have to meet him... I'd rather not, but I am very good at analysing people but even with the information and an understanding of who he is after Cross analysis the only person who can fix themselves is themselves, especially people like KFC who will just dig deeper and deflect and blame anything but themselves.
There are many reasons for the behaviour, he has a position of power and far to many people fear losing it once they have it but that is just one reason.
If you're going to create a new alliance please let me know. I've never been in an alliance since my first day of NGS. I've seen you few times (yes, I'm on ship 1) but I'm just to shy to say hello 😂.
I'm having fun this far by mostly playing solo, but i feel like its about to take my toll.

😂completely understandable about the shy thing! I think the majority of players are probably more of the shy types when it would come to saying hello to a creator that they follow or enjoy watching! I assure you, I'm just a normal guy though😂. I'm in no rush or anything to create an alliance. I technically just got out of a somewhat toxic 3 year (alliance) relationship, so no need to be super hasty lol. We'll just kind of see how things go. But if I do, people will surely know!

I don't know what it is with PSO2 and people with serious mental illnesses. I wish the community was by majority mentally sound. Its a shame because the game being as fun as it is doesn't deserve to be plagued by crap like this.

Narcissism definitely does not belong in any community. Unfortunately, indeed PSO2 NGS has historically for some odd reason been plagued with problematic behaviors such as the ones grandly exhibited by this individual.
