I was there!!!!! My first JT concert
noi eravamo lì,e grazie a dio e grazie a chi mi comprò la panda,potei fare il mio viaggio trip, reduci dai tre giorni di pistoia blues 1,2,3 luglio 1988 dove avevamo assistito al nostro intimo woodstok blues tutto con situazioni psichedeliche create da un centro storico medievale come pistoia e la toscana intera è.

I did'nt get to see Tull play until 2004 at Brighton Dome, but I probably love watching the 80s live footage best of all. Long may their music continue, I doubt if we;ll ever see another Jethro Tull album but at least all the music and the footage is there to enjoy, for all time

I saw the ( August ) 1988 US leg of this TULL show at the Mann Music Center, ( shed show) fairmount park in Philadelphia, Pa.( I believe it was referred to as the " Here and there tour!). Part of the Machine was performed with Fairport Convention, opener...

I saw the band in 1998 at a small venue in Mississippi , it was one of the best I have seen..
he played a outdoor theater in massachussetts fot this show, it was called great woods perfoming arts center, it changed names , but its a great venue for summer shows, this was a great night with great weather

"Wind-Up" -- rare to see Ian playing electric guitar!
Went to see them in September of 1982 at Merriweather Post Pavilion here in Maryland on there Broadsword Tour. I have seen three bands in my lifetime that sound near exact to there albums live, one is Pink Floyd, then Rush & the best of all Jethro Tull.
Saw them for the first time on this tour in New Haven. I take it from the setlist that this isn't the complete show...
The acoustic guy in the band goes electric!...;-)
Sagenhaftes Konzert. Es hat einen interessanten Sound und durch die Beleuchtung eine gute Stimmung. Einige mir unbekannte Songs. Der kann ja auch mal elektrisch… Daumen hoch 👍
Elektrisch? Ja: Martin Barre spielt/spielte meistens E-Gitarre ... und zwar außerordentlich gut!

Presente.Avevo 16 anni:la mattina all'Hilton per incontrare Ian e Martin e poi dalle 13 davanti all'entrata(tanto caldo davvero).
Ricordo ancora Ian portato sul palco su una sedia a rotelle da una procace infermiera.Concerto magnifico.Visti nel 2003 al centralino...spenti,peccato.Bei tempi.Lunga vita

His voice did recover after this period id say the root tour waz best then it went downhill until he split tull

Great gig but so sad to see him struggling with his voice. He still just manages to get away with it.
Huh?...Ian's voice is shot even in 1988...as depressing as that is for me to say.
Sad but true but in all honesty his range was ALWAYS very, very limited. He once said that he only took to singing because no one else could sing.
Ian's voice was never about the range but the timbre and tone
