Almost 50 years later and singing along like I never stopped listening to it! A masterpiece by Ian and the band 🤗! Genius and master showman. Grateful I was there for it in the 70’s!
WARCHILD VON JETHRO TULL IM JAHRE 1974 VOR 50 JAHREN, ECHT WAHNSINN IST EIN ABSOLUTES CLASSIC-ROCK-MEISTERWERK❤😊 MEIN LIEBLINGSALBUM VON TULL WO ICH DAMALS ALS JUNGER SIE KENNENLERNTE, DAS WAR GEIL.❤
Got out of the service in '74 and saw my first Tull concert in '76. Rory Gallagher and Robin Trower opened for Tull. Tullevision was on stage for that gig making pretty much every seat a front row seat. My brother and I were as far away as you could possibly be in the LA Memorial Collesium. We could turn, look down and see the parking lot. Sound was awesome! Tull is the best!
One of my go to Tull albums. I would always play side two first but had to listen to the whole album. One of the most creative bands in music history thanks for the post bro !!!👍👍👍
Hi Rick, I love your channel and the balanced musical guests. I’m wondering about a mysterious guest, he may be elusive. I think most would consider him a monster at his instrument. He is said to be a favorite and the best in England by the late John Bonham. He is Jethro Tulls drummer extraordinaire Barriemore Barlow. Is there any chance you can nail him down for an interview?
Love Ian and everything Tull. The guitar sounds on this album is great. The songs are strong. The weird sci-fi keyboard sounds that pop up now and then are a bit off- putting. But still love this album!
Liked Skating Away on the thin ice of a New Day🎉 The cut War Child had bombs exploding with orchestration😅How bout a polka accordion accompament😂It became commercial with Bungle Jungle but their trying to get some radio exposure like they needed any😊🎉❤ Hey smoke a Doobie n the album will has infinite dilemma direction n dill pickle abuse. Who likes to watch 😂you know😮

My favorite Tull album.
Thanks for this upload.
Never understood why this isn't recognised as a great Tull record. Brilliant, full of bangers.

The songs were portrayed, re-enacted on the album cover. "Balance the world on your nose, like a sea lion, with a ball, at a carnival!"

Please if you can Whitesnake:Ready n willing and Slide it in. Tnx bro
Whitesnake and Tull are not to be mentioned in the same conversation! Tull rules!
Really bad sleeve design. They should have hired Hypgnosis.
