Some bands make music look easy cos they keep it simple. Tull demonstrate that their music is hard: complex, intricate, demanding, physical, intelligent, multi-layered and a real team effort. They do it brilliantly, with each member at the top of their game to push the collective higher and higher. Amazing stuff!
Every member of this band, has been grossly under rated. It is criminal, that Tull has never been inducted to the HOF, but then again, I believe they are BETTER than who is in the HOF. This band has always been in it's own class. And they set the bar extremely high.
I’m gonna guess that someone will say Martin Barre is underrated. You must be so young. He’s phenomenal, and he has been for decades.
Everyone who loves Jethro Tull and Yes has the highest level of music knowledge
I met Martin twice, and I am proud of that, he is a very kind and friendly person. I miss him from today's Tull.
One of the most talented and experienced group of musicians I have ever heard!
Martin Barre is a Beast..so underated
Martin Barre plays up a storm here. What an underrated guitarist!
I've been a fan of Tull since I was 16. I'm 64 now. Never too old to rock and roll! I even named one of my boys after him. Cheers!
One of the greatests band of all rock'n'roll times!
Tull has always been sheer magic from their beginning. "My Sunday Feeling" "Dharma for One"... none better.
I was at this concert. It was an outdoor venue. And it rained. And it poured. They played through it all. It was quite a show.
It's insane that Jethro Tull is still not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! 50 years of awesome music. Keep on rocking!!!
Ohhhh my God. I wish i could be there . Ian Anderson and his band so wonderful. One voice, so special to me.
I just watched the entire concert, and I must say this was an incredibly great concert. A great selection of songs. Martin was fantastic. Ian was incredible. In fact every member of the band was in top form. I have many recordings of Jethro Tull concerts and this one rates among the best !! I thought Ian's voice was even great
I saw tull live in Bethlehem PA.. it was Awesome.Saw Saw Tull live 10 times throughout the years. Best band of Rock and Roll.
I have seen a lot of bands, including Cat Stevens, Simon & Garfunkel, Procol Harum, and Jethro Tull at least four times.... Ian Anderson is still my favorite. The first time I seen them was back in the early 70s when they first came out with aqualung and I was sitting on a gymnasium floor 15 feet from the stage, the back up group was yes!!!
I like how Jonathan always signs off Bouree' with a "salute" to the original soloist, Glenn Cornick. Class.
Always have followed Ian and his band of musicians, and they will always be a part of me forever!
Ian Anderson: a leader, a voice so special to me. Beautiful songs forever❤
