Diatonic means across . Chromatic means colorful. chromatic uses all the keys even black keys. so one scale that has 12 notes . diatonic hace 12 scales and eac scale has only 7 different notes. it is like a ladder and should occupy all the seven rungs of the ladder. so all the lines and spaces depending on the note it starts with. g scale should have gabcdef#g, not gabcdegflatg if so the g line will have two g,s and will missout f.

Bro I appreciate you for teaching me how to play the keys you are my unofficial piano teacher. I already picked up the baseline gospel keys that are mostly used in church as well as the major keys and minor keys chord progressions you taught! I learned those two base lines for Lord I lift your name on high and You deserve it I was playing it at church today! I am a church drummer being playing the drums for over 20 years so I’m used to the notes from a drummers perspective but learning how to actually put chord progressions together and actually play real notes is lit! I heard you say you answer questions and do tutorials/lessons if we reach out to you! How can I get in contact with you for follow up tutorial and possible virtual lessons? My name is Cord God bless
