Barbara Macfarlan is an Educational Designer at Monash University. With a background in education focusing on sociolinguistics and using the affordances of ubiquitous technology to engage 21st century learners. She has over 10 years experience as a learning designer using the Moodle platform, and is currently an Education Designer at Monash University, in the Office of the Vice-Provost (Learning and Teaching). In this role she is part of a team that is engaged in transforming learning and teaching across the university through high quality design of delivery and assessment strategies.
