    I was having a heart attack went to hospital getting ready for a stents put n the next day. Nurse ask me if I won't to go outside to smoke a cigarette I did she said it not goin to hurt me smokin cig not what cause my heart attack grease foods cause it😮😊

    Three cups a day?? That would depend on how large a cup or mug one uses!!😉
    Back in the 70s during college and Med School, coffee was measured by the pots! Now in retirement, 3-4 cups/mugs a day is the usual, and always black coffee .
    No heart issues, BP is good. Life is Good!!

    50 year coffee drinker. Caffeine in coffee was causing annoying PVC. Went decaf, No more PVC problems.

      All I know PVC is a plastic pipe at home depot.

      Old war veteran, USN USMC Corpsman later Nurse corps officer. Mid 70s etc, probably spilled 10 cups a day like Gibbs on NCIS. In the field we used the instant coffee packs by tossing straight in the mouth with a swig of water ... Why i can't drink coffee black any more have to use real cream. When I got out sadly decreased my exercise but kept my coffee blood stream at high level got palpitations increased my silly villain exercise level and only drink 1 cup per day, unless at IHOP and if the days plan is to be busy driving then will drink the pot if not then depends on how big of a breakfast I'm going to be eating ...

    You are what you eat. Your diet impacts your health.
    Lower stress, reduce obesity, get enough sleep and more exercise are key to a healthy life.
    Obesity in children and adults is rising across the world.
    Fast food and sugary drinks including fruit juices are contributing to the problem of poor health and obesity.
    Eat a healthy plant based diet and exercise regularly.
    Reduce or ELIMINATE cows milk, eggs, cheese and meat. Eat more salad greens, beans, fruit and vegetables. Eliminate fast food, snacks like cookies, cakes, chips, and sugary drinks and juices.
    Every adult and child should own a bicycle and ride it regularly.
    Regular exercise will help you sleep better. Yoga is a great stress reducer.
    Obesity is all too common today. Get off the couch. Get off the phone, ipad or video game.
    A variety of stretching and other exercises help with increased mobility.
    Ride to work, ride to school, ride for fun.
    Every city should be a bicycle city.
    Speak up for bicycles in your community

      Please add golfing to that list...walking 18 holes is about 6 to 7 miles of walking !!! .... even with a golf cart, a golfer will walk about 2.5 to 3 miles.

    Hospitals, doctors offices and schools should be places where good nutrition is taught and provided not places that contribute to disease and obesity. It is crazy the hospitals are feeding people the very food that caused the heart disease, high blood pressure or cancer that they are treating. Every person in the hospital should receive some nutrition education before being released. Every doctor visit should be an opportunity to educate patients about how food choices impacts their health outcomes. The fact that doctors do not get nutrition training as part of their training makes no sense. Medicare and Medicaid should require nutrition education as part of patient care. Focus should be on food choices. Fasting should be investigated as a treatment for disease.

      Medical " professional s " only generate revenue for their giant industrial conglomerate hospitals when we are sick. Hence the huge list of side effects with every prescription. Then the attorneys get their 33 percent because we're sick from the treatment.

    Doctors offices are too casual when taking blood pressure so accuracy suffers.
    You need to be sitting rested/relaxed for 5 minutes before taking blood pressure.
    You should not have just had coffee or caffeine in the past hour.
    You need to not talk or move while it is being taken.
    You should not have to go to the restroom. Holding your urine to relieve yourself will raise your blood pressure.
    Your blood pressure changes thru out the day and is impacted by stress levels.
    It is best to take your blood pressure at home at the same time every day under controlled circumstances and track the results.
    Too many people have white coat hypertension just from going to the doctors office.
    Those with hypertension should be encouraged to address this with life style changes along with medication if that does not work.
    Doctors offices should tell people that lowering their weight thru diet and exercise may have the same result or better than medications.
    Nutrition and exercise education should be the first option in treatment.

    Coffee has a tendency to dry out my skin and lips. The caffeine with a little sugar cause the dryness.
