What an incredible experience… to sit with holocaust survivors. Many years ago, when I was in college, I took a class called “sociology of extreme situations”. As a youngin, I signed up thinking it would be about facing things like getting robbed at an atm or domestic violence, however it was a deep dive into the holocaust. The even bigger draw was that the class was taught by a man who’s parents and grandparents were holocaust survivors. We read the book Night, by Elie Wiesel and it completely affected me in so many ways. I’ve suggested that book to so many people and have since read it a few more times ♥️
Perhaps her revenge was a life of love and value that was well lived.
