Nothing he did was a war crime by the Geneva convention. He even killed downed enemies before passing them in order to get out of the technicality of providing aid to wounded soldiers. I have SNiper elite vr and I actually enjoyed the stealth because whenever I disregarded stealth it would be a painful amount of shooting, dying, and trying again when I didnt stealth at the start it was fine doing that but later on in the game I appreciated the stealth play more than I did at the start which was nonexistant.
