- Surf fishing the Beautiful Gulf Coast waters of Pensacola Florida during the Fall. I almost stayed home but I knew if I did I would regret it all night. So I bundle up, grabbed my surf fishing gear, and headed to the beach. Just go fishing whenever you can because you never know when the fish are going to bite.

Epic day dude! Great video my man
Thanks man!
Let’s go! Great day in the winter and I agree 45 degrees is COLD. Teach me your ways! Keep the awesome videos coming
Thanks! Anything below 70° is wrong haha.
I live on the isle of man uk and my m8 who doesn't know much about fishing is pestering me to go fishing and its been absolutely freezing but he won't listen about wind chill factor and the difference between the temperature in town compared to out on a pier fully exposed to the elements, I know your filming in November but your it a warm climate compared to us and your still wrapped up with what we'd use now shore fishing, I'm just getting old cuz 10 years ago I'd be out now but now I'll be waiting till end of March b4 I start beach/pier fishing.
Great video you got a subscription today bro 👍
Definitely much colder out on the open water. Its 30°C+ here most the year so those 5°C days (this video) are brutal to me. Honestly anything below 20°C is cold to me haha. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for the Sub. Good luck out there!
Thanks man, looking forward to next show 🙌 👍 👌
Wish our water on the Texas Gulf Coast was this pretty!
I'm a native Floridian and a truck driver and I've been in all 48 lower states in summer and winter and nowhere have i been is it colder than forida( except in dacota's and wyoming with wind blowing 20mph and wind chill is -40) but without the wind else nowhere ive been seemed cold at 30 degrees ecept florida..we have a wet cold that just seems a lot more colder than other states at same temperature.
Definitely a different kind of cold. I can handle much cooler temperatures up north.
That’s a sick day. 🎣 HOOK UP!
Thanks! One of my favorite days on the surf.
I got skunked on Sunday. I’m going after some Mangrove tomorrow night. You make it look easy my friend. Keep the videos coming.
Thanks David! Good luck tomorrow!
That was great fishing! The double at the end was a capital finish!
Sub! 🤙
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Appreciate the sub!
Great video, here it is the second week of December, water Temps around 68 69 and the Temperature is in the 70s here on the Emerald Coast, and the Whiting bite has been on fire 🔥 but not so much the pomps , reds are chewing along with the black tip sharks water has been really clear, I don't know I guess we need another cold front to get the pomps fire up,, I need a day like yours,,,Thanks for Great content,,,Stay Safe God Bless 😀,,
Definitely been nice and warm since making this video. Good luck out there Joseph!
So colder temperature helps certain fish come on the feed similar for the UK for certain species are definitely closer to shore and feeding more intense in the winter months others you get all year around but maybe less in colder months but they're still out there.
Excellent fishing day
Thanks! Definitely on my top 5 days on the surf.
Damn man you tearing it up
Thanks!
👍👍👍👍👍
Maybe it was the cold snap that caused such a productive day. This week has been slow no whiting a couple pompano nothing huge and one small drum. Guess they hate this warm 80 degree December weather
Its very possible. Never know when they are going to bite. I quit trying to understand it and just go when I can. Hope your next trip is epic!
@@JustinReedFishing thanks I think you might be right also water has been dead calm all week this week and water is gin clear which improves visibility for the fish. Going out this afternoon hoping to snag a few
They’re biting this late in the year? I need to get down to Pensacola
Fishing should be decent through December too. It usually starts slowing down January then picks back up in late March. Good luck!
What pound test do you use
I use 20lb mainline and 20lb leaders.
