Here in argentina, the black ones are called "colorsoft" and the barrel is round. I guess they are the same. I want to know what paper are you using? Thank you
The 100 Black Faber-Castell colored pencils are the Supersoft and not the Black Edition colored pencils at all. These are two different lines of colored pencils that Faber-Castell currently makes.
They do now have the 100 Black Edition set, but it's still rare. Black Edition is like a cheaper rebranding of their SuperSoft pencils it seems. There is even a 72 set now. Here in Europe, they started with small sets, and it seems they are adding colours to the line. It's great, as I really like them.
@@sueallen952yes, they now have a 100 set. I bought the 50 edition plus the skin tones, l think they're good for beginners. The only problem l have is the sharpening, it seems my Dahle 133 will implode so l use the Faber Castel manual one 😉
Yes 😱😱😱😱!! It is every now and then availlable on amazon.com but right now I do not see it hmmm but It was to expensive for me anyway with all the customs...
@@color-dive I had a look, looks like it's only been released in Europe a few months ago. Fingers crossed they will be readily available at a good price by Xmas.
The black edition is horrible and initially designed for school kids and they serve great for that purpose. Don't waste your money if you layer a lot, you get wax bloom at some point because they are wax based. Blending is so so. They are pretty soft though
They actually didn't start as a kids product, search for the SuperSoft and you'll see. They are a round barrel with numbers, but not for European market. These Black Edition are a cheaper rebranding of those for European market, and for their price, very good!
